About this apartment rental
This fabulous apartment has panoramic sea views from the south facing private balcony. The balcony has table, chairs, sunloungers and a retractable sun awning for sun or shade. Brand new kitchen and bathroom September 2020. The apartment is refurbished and has free wifi and UK and international TV channels. This bright & airy one bedroomed apartment is very comfortable with extra touches. This is a relaxing, tranquil apartment located in a quiet corner of the peaceful and secure Atalaya Complex. It is only 3 minutes walk to the very centre of the sea front promenade (Avenida de las Playas) where there are shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There is a well stocked supermarket right next door. The light and spacious apartment had major refurbishment in September 2020, with a brand new bathroom, new kitchen and new fitted wardrobes. The new kitchen has hob and full oven, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, and Tassimo coffee machine. The lounge has a modern L-shaped sofa which transforms into a comfortable double bed, and a 40" Smart TV. There is free wifi in the apartment for guests to use, and UK and international TV channels are available (via internet). The separate bedroom has comfortable twin beds and lots of storage space - new fitted wardrobes installed September 2020. The bedroom has a ceiling fan. The bathroom has also been fully replaced and retiled in 2020, with a new walk in rain shower, vanity unit and washing machine. There are fans in the lounge and bedroom for warmer months.
The balcony is often the highlight of the stay in this apartment. It has sun for much of the day and has a retractable sun awning so that you can have shade when you want it. The balcony has stunning panoramic sea views. On the balcony there is a table and two chairs with cushions so that you can dine comfortably al fresco, and two sunloungers so that you don't need to leave the apartment to enjoy the sun.
The communal pool is just a minute's walk away. The pool has sunloungers and is usually quiet.
There is on street parking around the complex.
Access - the apartment sits in a quiet corner of the upper Atalaya Complex. There are two secure gated entrances to the complex. Parking is available at both. The rear entrance affords direct access to the complex from street level, and is a 6 minute walk from the sea front (slightly uphill coming back). Using this entrance there are 15 steps down and 16 steps up to the apartment. The front entrance is 3 minutes flat walk from the sea front. Access from the front entrance involves 65 steps which are staggered.

Stayed her with my 15 year old daughter for a week , 21st-28tj August.
Ryan air flights, great times.
Taxi from the airport to apartment was €14- It’s about a 7 min drive.
Gill met us at the steps to the apartment.
Quite a few steps up but you get used to it, she explained bits and pieces to us.
Paid for the use of her Sun lounger cushions, worth it as nice and comfortable on pool loungers every day.
Safe & secure area, quiet too.
Bit of noise a couple of times as apartment underneath being done up but went out anyway.
Apartment lovely, good size bedroom. Comfortable beds. Safe in wardrobe. Big fridge, tassimo coffee machine. Everything you need.
Balcony views really nice. Chairs and table, washing line.
Fans throughout, not air con , but fine as breezy at night so just keep the window open for a bit to cool the place down.
Pool just round the apartment block and just so lovely. Hardly anyone ever there with us!
I think at most there were about 7 people there, pretty much most days we went and got a lounger we were the only ones by the pool and in it for hours.
And there is always a lovely breeze all the time.
It was fantastic, less people the better!
Spar supermarket at the bottom of complex steps. Others around too down the front.
Walk to the right down Calle Pedro Barba, 5 mins and you are on Avenida las Playa. Beach 5-10 mins to the right and shops, bars , restaurants opposite side.
Had lovely meals in Dos Mil Cafe, Trattoria, La Cantina, and particularly liked Cafe La Ola.
Sun beds at beach € 10.50 for 2 all day.
Only went there once, prefer pool.
No bugs, mosquitoes, very clean area.
Perfect break away, enjoyed every minute.
Memories made.

Couldn’t fault the apartment or the view from the balcony, everything you could need for a great holiday, everything was perfect from start to finish would definitely recommend.

A quiet and comfortable stay
The location of this apartment is excellent, there's a good sized supermarket next door and a lovely pizza restaurant next to that. Every other kind of restaurant and cafe are a 5-10 minute walk away down on the front, each meal we had was very good.
It's so easy to catch a bus to the harbour when you fancy a change, or even walk it along the lovely promenade.
The apartment itself is great with plenty of storage for your clothes and a washing machine to freshen things up on a longer stay.
The weather let us down badly with some of the coldest temperatures experienced on Lanzarote. A fan heater in the room would have made a big difference to our stay, otherwise - perfect!
We had good customer service from Gill and made use of the friendly airport transfer.

Loved this apartment, very comfortable, everything you could need was there and the view from the balcony was fantastic. Free wifi was a bonus, complex was lovely and quiet and 2 minutes from the strip, were going to try our hardest to use this apartment/complex again & we'll be recommending it to family and friends

The sea view from the balcony is lovely. It gets the sun from early morning until mid afternoon and is totally private. The complex is quiet as is the pool, yet the situation couldn't be more convenient for restaurants, bars and the beach which are only a few minutes walk away. There is a well stocked supermarket literally on the doorstep which is open from early until 10.00pm. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and, in fact, hope to be returning in the very near future.

Wonderful Property in Great Location
The apartment is great. Well sized, well kitted out, nicely decorated, and the view from the balcony is superb! Perfect place to relax for a few days with everything you'd need. Would happily stay again.

just got home from a great 10 night stay at atalaya apt . what a good choice ,well situated,lovley and clean everthing you could possibly wish for was in the apartment .The complex was very quiet and clean. and with a good size pool .warm welcome was much appriciated .Iwould definatley recommend this to others.Well stocked supermarket next door ,bars and shops near by. thanks for a great time.

Absolutely lovely apartment that overlooks the ocean, and has the sun on the large balcony for the majority of the day. Two comfy reclining sunloungers. The apartment has everything you could ever need, fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave, internet tv, wifi, books, magazines, dvds, binoculars, comfy single beds. There is a large supermarket very close by, and a lovely pool area amins walk away. Very close to the main shopping / eating area. The owner has ensured that you have everything you'd ever need, and will even collect you from the airport! I'd definitely recommend this apartment.

Excellent Apartment and Complex
Lovely apartment. Well equipped. Views from the balcony superb and we liked the privacy it offered and the security of the complex. The efficient and friendly organisation and information that Gill and Lynn provided, made for a smooth and effortless stay. Our second visit to the complex and we shall be returning.

Best holiday ever
First visit to Lanzarote but won't be the last. We had a fantastic time. The location of the apartment was perfect in easy reach of the beach, bars & restaurants. The apartment itself was very homely, well equipped for all our needs. The balcony was a great place to relax with lovely sea views. Did 3 excursions with first minute & enjoyed them all. The dreams breakfast at cafe ola was amazing. The cliff walk to Puerto Calero was stunning with a good choice of eating places when we got there, can recommend the Irish pub food was excellent. The old town is full of charm with plenty of boat trips.

Great 10 day stay
Just arrived back from a lovely 10 day stay here. This place is in a perfect location close to all the restaurants, shops and the beach.
Airport transfers were all on time and made life easier than trying to jump in a taxi, was picked up by Lynn then dropped off by Gill on the way back.
Apartment was very clean and tidy with a cracking view from the balcony. As I was on the sofa bed I left the fan on each night plus left the patio door open for a nice breeze to make it easier to sleep as the temperature was so hot, also had bedroom and bathroom windows open for a nice breeze throughout the apartment.
We ate out every night and every meal was lovely so not a bad restaurant in sight. Pool was always quiet and never had a problem getting a sunbed. My kids loved it there and we are considering an October return for another cheeky week.

Blissful Fortnight in Lanzarote Apartment
On arrival at the apartment we were met by Gill for the handover of keys.
Gill had already phoned us making sure we were ok as our transfer taxi was late. Gill was very friendly and chatted away whilst showing us the apartment, making sure we knew where everything was.
The property was immaculate and a change of bedding and towels was done after our first weeks stay. The apartment was also cleaned after a week. The only thing more that we could have asked for was air-conditioning being as warm as it was. The location of the apartment is first class with beautiful sea views and a lovely breeze on the balcony. The swimming pool is well maintained and use of sun beds not a problem. A short stroll of 5 minutes takes you from the apartment to the main strip for beach or shopping.
Our favourite was jumping on the local transport to Arecife, Playa Honda etc buses every 10 minutes and air conditioned into the bargain.
Our favourite restaurants included Mardeleva situated in the Old Town overlooking the harbour, La Avienda opposite Los Picollos Beach and Mozzarella which is down stairs from apartment, walk past
Spar and restaurant there. All excellent food and good value for money.
Would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Lovely Stay!
We had an amazing time staying at this apartment, the location and facilities were perfect and suited all of our needs. The apartment was lovely - even nicer than the photos. The owners had thought about everything that we might have needed throughout our stay which helped us out a lot for example the sewing kit and the entertainment such as playing cards. Also, Gill picked us up from the airport and took us to the property and her daughter drove us back to the airport on our journey home. This was a massive help to us and saved us a lot of hassle!
The location of the property was quiet yet convenient - everything was within walking distance. There were many different restaurants and bars to chose from which meant there was something for everybody.
We would definitely recommend this apartment and we would love to come back in the future! Thank you!!

Excellent apartment in prime location
Absolutely fantastic well equipped and spotlessly clean apartment. Owner has thought about every detail and has extras for your use such as binoculars for the shunning view from balcony, CDs, DVDs, WiFi, English TV, sewing kit, hairdryer, washing machine and even supplies beach towels.The apartment is ideally located with a Spar supermarket next door and bars and shops on hand. The main strip is only a short walk away where bars and restaurants are in abundance.The complex the apartment is situated within is very secure and well maintained with residents and holiday makers both being very friendly. The pool area is an absolute delight. Transfers to and from the apartment were also a God send and made the start and end of the holiday hassle free. A definite return holiday for us. Highly recommend to anyone.

The top quality for me was the view from the balcony it made you more aware you were on holiday. It just has everything close by - restaurants galore, retail therapy, entertainment, beaches, bike hire and lots more. I would highly recommend.

It is as described - comfortable/clean with all amenities, the swimming pool a big plus especially with children as it is a gated complex it is so safe and the washing machine is a luxury with all the swimming gear. Our 3rd visit to Atalaya complex and always enjoy a relaxing stay. 5 minute walk to seafront with endless choice of restaurants and bars. Spar shop located directly under the complex. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second visit to Atalaya complex and again thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. This apt is clean, well equipped and in good order. Transfer from the Airport was quick and easy when arranged through Gill and we were soon settled in, transfer back to the airport at the endofour stay was equally easy.
Only problem we encountered was a lack of hot water in the morning but apparently this affects the whole complex. Would certainly recommend this apt.

We have just returned from a wonderful one week holiday at the Atalaya complex. From the initial booking to the transfer to and from the airport everything was straight forward. On arrival the apartment was spotless and everything was exactly as described. Although there was no air con the apartment had two fans which came in very useful.
We found the apartment to be very private and peaceful with a beautiful sea view from the balcony.
The pool area was very clean and had plenty of sunbeds. At night the complex was well lit up and secure. The Spar supermarket adjacent to the complex which stayed opened until 10 pm had everything you needed. There are steps leading down to the supermarket onto the street, however, there is a back entrance with fewer steps, but we did not find the steps an issue.
The promenade is only a few mins from the apartment and has a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars.
We have had one of the most relaxing, peaceful holidays in this apartment and had the reassurance that if we had any problems we were able to contact Gill at any time. We are very pleased to have chosen this great apartment and hopefully will return next year. Thank you
