About this farm stay rental
Restored old house very cozy, for holidays, weekends, between family or with friends. Immersed in nature and with the landscape of the Serra da Lousã and the silence of the place, invite to rest, reading or simply nothing to do in the many and diversified nooks and crannies. The suites, private patios, common spaces, kitchen, porches, games room, barbecue, swimming pool, gardens, nearby forest, river and its magnificent river beach the bar, to drink a beer, to eat an ice cream or see the landscape, await you. The Quinta has conditions that offer its guests the pleasure of a unique ecotourism experience; rural, (forest, animals and various fruit), natural, to enjoy the charm and peace of nature with its typical smells, (rosemary, myrtle, rosemary) and the sounds of birds & cicadas, and cultural, far from the confusion, the noise and queues and traffic jams typical of mass tourism. The farm has an area of 3 ha, forest and pasture; many sitting areas to read, eat or just relax; most of the time is passed around the large swimming pool which allows swimming with views of the forest and the garden. These spaces can be booked separately or together. The R / ch with rustic / romantic decoration, has stone walls with 1m wide that replace the air conditioning in a sustained way, has 2 suites, independent and intercommunicantes, that can be leased separately together; a fully equipped kitchen (common when the suites are rented separately): (i) Romantic Suite with 36m2 (1 bedroom with double bed, WC and shower cabin, fireplace, sofa, private patio with 20m2), sleeps 2 people (ii) Family suite, 36m2, with 2 bedrooms (1 with 2 single beds, 1 with double bed, 1 bathroom and private patio 20m2) sleeps 4 people. The recent Bungalow, with stunning views over the landscape of Serra da Lousã, is rented separately, T0 with 26 m2, 2 twin / 1 king size beds, for 2 people. It has kitchenette (for light meals with microwave, electric pot, coffee maker, juicer, juicer and kitchen utensils and fridge, bathroom with shower, balcony and private garden accommodates. The Quinta d'Erica is located at the foot of Serra da Lousã, on the edge of a small village, Casal de Ermio, very quiet, with church and river beach and several cafes / bars, in the village of Lousã (3 Km) rich in stately houses of Sec XVIII and XIX, with several restaurants, supermarkets and varied shops, cinema and weekly market (Tuesday and Saturday), A 5Km you can visit the Castle of Lousã and the emblematic natural pools and have a meal in the typical restaurant "The Burgo" and visit the ancient villages of Cerdeira, Talasnal & Quinta d'Erica is surrounded, within walking distance, by various tourist, cultural and natural resources: 25 km from the city of Coimbra - UNESCO World Heritage Site, Portugal's Little Peoples, Botanical Garden, Machado de Castro Museum (with its Cryptoportico Roman), the Museums of Santa Clara a Velha and Santa Clara a Nova, the source of the beautiful rustic / romantic house, pool, billiards, forest, natural space & Loves of Pedro and Inês (famous International History of Inês the Queen after death); Conimbriga Roman city with mosaics very well preserved and 55 km from the oceanic beach of Figueira da Foz; Lisbon is a 2-hour drive (200 km) or a fast train from Coimbra station. Porto is 1 hour by car (120 km) and you can also go by fast train.
