We loved our magical 4 nights and wished for more.

Can't recommend this masseria more! It was a wonderful visit and we wished we had stayed longer than 4 nights. We stayed in the trulli with balcony and it was quite spacious and extremely quiet with the thick walls - even though we were right next to the breakfast area we couldn't hear it until we stepped outside. Davide was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night. Breakfasts were a highlight of our time in Puglia, and their red wine in the room was also the best we had in Puglia (all three of their wines were fantastic!). We arrived on a Tuesday night and took advantage of a wonderful farmer's market in Martina Franca on Wednesdays - bought cheeses and nuts and vegetables we used later to cook pasta and have snacks. Good restaurant recommendations and the towns are so quick and easy to access. Stunning environment. Great pool (note- it's not heated!), other guests we met were friendly. We traveled with a 2 year old and they were very helpful with a crib and high chair as well. I hope we return!

a lovely stay in Martina Franca

Located just a short drive away from the main Martina Franca, Masseria Pavone is nestled into the countryside and simply breathtaking. You'll sleep in an updated trulli - the stunning dry rock domed traditional structures that the area is known for, but once you step inside you'll be blown away by your comfortable bed, small kitchen and seating area, large bathroom, and private outdoor area. The pool was being painted while we visited so we weren't able to enjoy that, but it was too cold to use it anyway. There is also a jacuzzi and sauna available to be used on the lovely, well manicured, herb garden laden grounds, and beautiful large canvas hammocks to enjoy.

wish the pool had been available! and breakfast could use some freshly made eggs or hot dishes outside of breads and pastries.

Very good

The place is amazing, it is a dream, they have perfect rooms and instalations. The location is perfect if you have a car, lots of very near towns to visit.

They did not clean the room any day even if it is supposed to be a hotel, no change of towels either. Also we got there and the pool was not functioning and they did not tell us before getting there.

The property is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. Even the bed side tables were lined with beautiful paper. Perfect location to explore Puglia. Staff is attentive and personable. Highly recommend if you have a car and want to explore the region and come back to a restful, elegant, location in the evening. 10-12 minutes away from Martina Franca and Locorotondo for evening dinner reservations.

Amazing experience

Perfect location to discover and enjoy Puglia between Martina Franca and Locorotondo. The view and the setting are extremely beautiful in this peaceful Masseria. The staff are very friendly as it were your relatives.

Only thing I can come up with would be the maintenance of the chair positioning at the pool. Some extra gear for cooking would come in handy.

The place is very pretty, the pool is really good and it gives the good vibe of Puglia trullo experience.

The air conditioning is a big problem, the cold air doesn’t arrive in the bed place just on the kitchen, and make too much noise. So is very difficult to sleep with the hot and the high sound of the air that doesn’t work well.

Amazing location and property

The property is in an incredible location, between Martina Franca and Locorotondo. It’s slightly elevated so you have views of both towns and beautiful countryside between. We stayed in the ground floor apartment of the main building, which had a good layout for us and our two children (two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/dining). The large, private garden adjacent was fun for them to explore. The swimming pool is beautiful and very relaxing with lots of seating options.

The only downside was the property is listed to have air conditioning (including our room type) on Booking.com website, which is one of the reasons we booked here as I am 7 months pregnant. Luckily it was quite cool for July when we stayed (24-28deg Celsius) so it wasn’t a problem, however if it had been any warmer I would have been very uncomfortable. There were fans in our rooms.

Fantastic romantic and relaxing stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Masseria Pavone. It is perfectly situated with the tranquility of the countryside and the vibrance and beauty of the romantic villages Martina Franca and Locorotondo. We loved to hang out at the pool during the day, have a dinner at one of the many great restaurants nearby, and chill in the jacuzzi during the evening. The hammock in our little backyard was a big plus and the winery nearby was interesting! Furthermore, we were in love with the animals on the premises, especially the gigantic cutest puppy Diana. Special thanks to Davide, for making our stay spectecular. He was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. His many recommendations for restaurants were well received, and we couldn’t wish for a better host!
