About this villa rental

This old farmhouse in 1000m² of grounds, was renovated and extended in the 90s. The owner has taken great care to restore the house with taste and has preserved it's charm and authenticity whilst integrating all modern facilities.
The property is gated, fenced and entirely private.
The private pool (10m X 5m) is surrounded by a colourful garden and the grapevine covering the pergola provides shade from the sun. There is ample seating and sunbeds around the pool..
The covered terrace provides a great place for outdoor dining with BBQ and seating .
Just off the pool area, is the snooker room and gymnasium with four types of training apparatus and shower. Downstairs there is a family room with sofa beds for 4 guets, shower and WC.
In the main house, the living area is very spacious (65m²) and consists of TV area, dining room with seating for 20 guests, fully equipped kitchen and breakfast area.
There are 6 bedrooms, all with plenty of cupboard space. 6 bathrooms and toilets. 1 bathroom has bath and the 5 others are shower rooms.
Of the 6 bedrooms, one has a 200cm bed, the second a 140 cm and the others all have twin beds. In the most spacious of the bedrooms there are four additional single beds and a cot for baby with plenty of extra space to add beds if necessary.There is also an additional family room with 3 sofa beds, shower and WC. We can accomodate between 18 and 20 guests. Baby equipment is available on request.
Private garage + parking for 2 cars and extra free parking on the road.
Linen is not provided but can be arranged on request

The kitchen was well equipped, another dishwasher would be beneficial for a house that accommodates 20 people. There is a washer but no dryer or rack system to dry the laundry outside. The pool table is unusable. We also had construction noise in the neighbors house everyday of our stay. The house is spacious, and the numbers of beds and bathrooms sufficient. The garden offers shed and green privacy, the pool is clean and well maintained

The property was exactly as described, well situated, with local amenities abound, and in close proximity to the city centre. It was more than ideal for our event. We had planned for an outdoor dinner party to celebrate my birthday, however the weather condition was not favorable on the day, so we had to make last minute changes to have the party indoors and there was adequate space to accommodate a party guest of 25 people. This was highly appreciate and turned out to be a better setup than the original plan. The highly professional Host was also on hand to assist with troubleshooting an electrical problem that ensued due to the bad weather. I definitely recommend this property. It is ideal for private parties.

The villa is largely pleasant and has a large pool. There are four bedrooms in the main house, two situated underneath the outside dining space and a further large "bedroom situated underneath the games room. The pool we had to keep filling ourselves. The linen not being included in the villa price is frankly ridiculous. In what senario would one be arriving on holiday with their own bedding? There was a further charge for electricity, which seems unreasonable, even in the current climate, as this villa is not cheap and the cost could be random. I have no idea of what the daily tarriff of electricity is in France. We were burgled on the first night of our stay and they perpertrators took a very significant amount of our luggage and belongings, that said we were lucky we didn't disturb them. My brother was staying in one of the rooms underneath the dining area and woke to hear someone trying the rear door to the bedroom. He got up and found the door locked, and decided he couldn't be sure he'd not imagined it. We got up in the morning and upon discovering the theft realised that the rear door to the other bedroom below the dining area was unlocked as was the front door of that room none of our party staying in that accommodation We also later discovered that the rear door of my 79yo mother's was also left unlocked, the villa host later advised us that there was a "knack" to it. The police came the following morning of the robbery and were very unhelpful advising us not to attend the police station that day, in spite of the fact my passport had been taken. The villa host did not advise us that we should attend the police station. A French lawyer friend of mine called having heard about the burglary and insisted we should report to the police station which we did straight away following her phone call. The entire holiday was ruined by this event. We found the villa host very unhelpful in her response to our situation as non french speakers. We all 13 of us ended up having to stay in the main house for the remaining 6 nights in fear of the thieves returning. The key points about this villa is that it isn't sufficiently secure at the rear of the property. Also the villa cannot really comfortably accommodate as many guests as advertised. The top floor of the main house accessed by very steep stairs, not really suitable for young children or older guests. The bedrooms under the dining area are quite dingy and isolated I would not recommend.

This property was perfect for us. Quiet and away from town but only 1.2miles walk to la croisette and 500mts to beach. Local deliveries for food, brilliant amenities including a great kitchen. I couldn’t rate it any higher.
