The hotel is beautiful. I really love the vibe of the place and it how it's right by the ocean. The restaurant and was quite good and lovely at night. I enjoyed the live music throughout my stay, and loved the boutique feel of the hotel. Their drink menu was also creative and delicious.
They tell us music would be present and I did enjoy the music a lot- just be aware that it'll continue to like 11pm or so- just a heads up for those that may need to be in bed early or are with kids. Also it would've been nice to have coffee capsules replenished daily.

Loved the place, the location was amazing!
We booked this place because it was promoted with a restaurant that would open for brunch and dinner with live music. It was closed both days we were there.

Looking for a place to stay with my friends was a little of a hassle, since it's summer and everything is booked. Thankfully, we came across Casa Isleña and are so happy for it. The room was exceptionally spacious, the beds super comfortable, those pillows are to die for. You have a big area for getting ready, with a small stool and big/wide mirror, if you're a girl it is perfect for getting ready. Fridge, coffee maker, tv and not one but 3 nightstands. We booked and really didn't expect anything other than a place to stay, but the room was right in front of the pool! Curtains provide the necessary privacy, although we used a bobby pin to kind of keep'em closed (DYI queens), just in case. Wasn't needed honestly. You can casually lounge in the pool area or take a stroll on the beach. The whole place gives peaceful vibes. You know for sure that you will disconnect and be able to relax. They do have a restaurant on-site, we didn't get a chance to taste it since we already had other plans, but it came well recommended. The pool areas has a bar, lounge chairs and there was live-music. All in all, will be coming back cause it's beautiful, well-located, clean, spacious and perfect for a getaway.
The lighting in the room is a bit weird, seems like it comes and goes. Although, we didn't have any issues with the power but it might be something to look into. And if you're someone that likes to watch movies on the tv provided, there's a bit of lagging from the internet so it might a while. Also, when we came back from dinner, it was very dark, and what we thought was the "front entrance" was closed, looking around for the entrance was fun either way. Even though it was a bit eerie cause it was almost pitch black, we found our way back to our room. Overall, the stay was wonderful these are simple things that can be fixed easily and it doesn't change the fact that it was a wonderful stay.

Location was great, scenery was breathtaking, live music while eating or swimming was a homerun for us.
Only downfall was the bugs in the pool but its the Caribbean and I know one can only do so much at a time.

Food and bar staff were very good
Our room was small fridge leaked all over the floor. The hotel said they would replace it. Long day of adventure came back to flooded floor in room. No view and kitchen right beside room. Pool is useless, people having dinner right beside pool. This hotel is not convenient to anything. I did find sea glass on beachwalk there. That was a plus. Hotel comped us for water issue, but wish it we would have chosen a better place to stay.

The breakfast was delicious. At night there was live music. Nice environment for relaxation.
The parking lot was a little scary at night. The entrance to the beach was dangerous. The beach is not for babies or kids or non surfers.

Casa Isleña has a great oceanfront location with friendly and responsive staff.
First room was tiny and furnished with bulky pieces. We had to request a room change in the middle of the night because AC was noisy and faulty. Next room was bigger but right next to the restaurant kitchen. So there was noise from 7 AM. No blackout drapes or adequate curtain panels meant light entered the room from the crack of dawn. Rooms are way overpriced for such basic and subpar accommodations. Also, the lodge is left open with no security or person in charge after 10 PM. And parking is just an adjacent lot, open to the public. So, it's like staying at a short term rental with multiple units and street parking. Not a hotel experience at all.

Great view of the ocean, spectacular sunsets!
Not exactly the property’s fault, but there were noisy guests who don’t care if others are sleeping at midnight.

Great beaches, good atmosphere, occasional live music, quiet later in night. Good, although pricy food. Rocky entrance to the sea for most of the beaches is difficult entry for some swimmers- but Sandy beach is visible and just a 10 min walk south. Pool area is very nice- but you are also in a dining area, so you are a fish in a centerpiece bowl.
No fans in bathrooms, gets stuffy.
For room by pool- you are on display for restaurant/pool guests so your curtains will be closed always.
For other room- the window is a hallway people walk past so your curtain will always be closed too...
In that smaller room the water pipes or AC gurgled, and it was quite noticeable at night.
The final fee will be slightly more than what Booking .com says it is...
Pool is pretty cloudy... make sure you shower afterwards.
Service was good and some staff were friendly and helpful- others are aloof and seem that they didn't have time for us even while ordering food when restaurant is not busy.
For example: My daughter asked for a brownie. The served it with ice cream. She can't eat ice cream. She mentioned it and server says, "that's how the kitchen made it". They still charged her $2 for each scoop of ice cream that she didn't order...
