We absolutely loved our stay. The beachside cottage is te perfect place for a getaway. It's very cozy, the yard is a sanctuary where you can BBQ, read, and enjoy the sun. The property owners were very responsive and attentive. The house is a short walk to the beach and lots of fun things around the area.

We come to Capitola every year with our family. This was a wonderful stay for my siblings and our spouses. Locationally this has been one of our favorite stays. It is a quaint space with character and we loved the neighborhood. Everything about our stay was impeccable. Home was clean, check in and check out was simple, and any questions were answered swiftly. Thank you for a beautiful weekend.

Location was close to a lot of stuff! Everything was great, except the mattresses & the shower handles. Super hard to get the temperature correct. We put in 2 new showerheads with hoses for better rinsing. The master bathroom shower dripped, so we could put the hose in the ground... problem solved! :-)
Plenty of bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella. Washer & dryer worked fine. Lots of laundry soap & other household items. Look in cabinets before going shopping. Parking for 2 in driveway & 1 easily in the garage.

House was in a perfect location next to capitola and close to Santa Cruz. Just my husband and I but could easily accommodate plenty more people. Kitchen equipped with everything necessary. Very dog friendly. Would stay here again.

Nice location except for parking on road, we have a handicap van and much easier if one of our vehicles could park on road but someone always parked in front of house. Enjoyed our stay here.

Our family enjoyed this property over the 4th of July long weekend. The house is in a great location. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. When we weren’t at the beach we enjoyed reading and socializing in the backyard. Parking was easy and the house had a nice grill, bikes and tons and of fresh linens.

Great location to access the Disc Golf Course DeLaveaga for the Santa Cruz Master Cup. Safe walking areas to Pleasure Point and the ocean. The kitchen was set-up with everything needed to prepare meals. Back yard grill and patio area was clean and pleasant. The neighborhood was quiet at night.

So this place has a lot going for it. Great location, enough space for 4 adults and 2 children, well equipped, stove top, refrigerator, washer dryer, dish washer all worked. Did not try the TV, BBQ or oven so I assume they work. So as in previous comments, mattresses need to be replaced, why pay this much to sleep on a crappy mattress.
But the real problem was that Main Bedroom Shower did not work. The handle was broken and the water was stuck on scalding hot, making it unusable and dangerous! I called the Management company, left a message, they responded by text, explaining how a shower works, oh thanks, I sent them a photo of the handle and said they would forward it to their plumber, NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE!
So not what we expected or PAID for.
My recommendation is to not rent this place until you see a confirmation that they have fixed the Main Shower, and that they have upgraded the mattreses!

This house was perfect for our family new year break. It was clean and well-equipped, with everything we needed. Despite the mostly awful weather, we were able to get out and about and enjoy the neighborhood. We enjoyed walking with our dog through the nearby woods down to the beach as well as walking along the ocean front on East Cliff Drive. We highly recommend the breakfast burritos from the Point Market, coffee and pastries from the Cat and Cloud, and Pizza My Heart pizza. We will definitely come back!

This is our second time staying in this house. We love the location and how roomy the place is. The master bedroom mattress could be replaced but other than that, perfect place!

The location of the property is great - quick walk to Pleasure Point and the beach. Feels a bit like “grandma’s house” - decor and homely lived in feeling. Worked perfectly for our family.

Perfect Location
The house was clean and well laid out for our family and dog. The master bedroom bed was a little uncomfortable for my liking but we enjoyed our stay. Perfect location between Capitola Village and the Boardwalk.

Great Place for family get togethers!
We were having a family party for 8 people. The kitchen was spacious and so well stocked with dishes and silver, etc. for serving large meals. It made the party a breeze!
Three of us stayed in this property and 5 stayed in another house around the corner. Their house was great too!

Pleasure Point neighborhood house
Lovely house just a 10 minute walk to the beach or a few minutes on the 3 cruiser bikes in the garage. Worked out great for our family and had everything we needed. We made a couple of suggestions to the property manager to improve rental experience but were very happy overall. Will rent it again.

Missing kitchen essentials
I’ve found other rentals better equipped with kitchen essentials. We found all the cooking utilities we needed, but there were many supplies that looked like they might be supplied, but weren’t, which impacted our shopping trip. There was an empty salt container, empty cooking oil and olive oil bottles, empty cling wrap rolled, etc.

Great house
Great house with lots of room for family to spread out. Appreciated greatly the 2 parking spots in front. All linens were great. Though all the surfaces were clean the house could use a deep cleaning.
