The main level living room, dining area and kitchen are all open to each other, making it perfect for entertaining with friends or relaxing with family. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, and all necessary dinnerware, silverware, stemware, and cookware are provided.
The main level balcony has custom made Adirondack chairs for lounging and is a great place to sip your morning coffee, or just relax and enjoy the view. There is also a patio table for dining and a gas grill for BBQing.

The large balcony off of this floor offers a covered space with an outdoor sectional and lounge chairs, perfect to be closer to the water or have an afternoon drink out of the hot Georgia sun.
If you prefer to chill out inside, Water’s Edge has two 65” smart TVs with over 70 channels of live TV as well as super high-speed Gigabit internet. If you want a break from electronics we have old fashioned board games, card games and puzzles. There is also a good selection of books for those who would like to read during your stay. Working remotely is painless at the lake, with a writing desk and chair included in the front main level guest room.
For those who prefer outdoor activities, a secluded custom firepit area provides a perfect place for late night bonfires. Our private deep-water dock can accommodate most size boats should you want to bring or rent your own. We also have a kayak and paddleboat provided – perfect to use in the peaceful cove. Boat cleats on the dock can also be used to tie up your jet ski or any other water craft you may bring. A 30-minute boat ride down the lake will bring you to lakefront entertainment such as Pelican Pete’s, Margaritaville and Lake Lanier Islands Water Park.
Water's Edge has an ideal location close to conveniences such as grocery stores and gas stations but also close to rural farms and state parks. The rapidly growing New Holland Market area is just 15 minutes from the house and includes groceries, Ace Hardware, restaurants and more. The Olympic Rowing Venue is only a 5-minute drive by car, or boat, from the house and offers a beach, boat launch, picnic areas, rowing events, and food truck Fridays with music during the summer months. A 20-minute drive north from Water’s Edge will put you in the North Georgia mountains with beautiful views, charming towns and noteworthy vineyards.

Ryan is a wonderful host.
He checked on us on our arrival day to make sure we got to the house safely.
Then he checked on us on the middle of the week to make sure we are having a great time.

Our family of 12 had a great time on the lake. Plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy getting together. If we decide to come back to lake Lanier we would definetly call Ryan to book again.

The house was perfect size for family of 12. The second kitchen is always a nice bonus. The house is located on a quiet cove on the river. We only seen a few boats the entire week. Loved that it’s close enough to have food and groceries delivered. Everyone loved jumping and swimming off the dock.

We were very relaxed from the moment we walked in to the house. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedrooms gave everyone their privacy so the early birds never awakened the late owls.
We loved the big dining table and huge island. The kitchen was abundantly supplied with everything we needed.
Our favorite was the huge deck overlooking the lake where we leisurely enjoyed our morning coffee and early evening conversations.
It was a quick trip for groceries or shopping.
We made happy memories for 2024!

The house met all of our needs and was comfortable, clean, and spacious!

My travel group of adults and children had to switch our original rental and found this lakehouse for our NYE gathering. Great space for sleeping and gathering. Great communication with the host.

For generations of family were happy and comfortable in this beautiful house! The kitchens had everything we needed for preparing our holiday meal. Ryan was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The house was everything we expected it to be. It was a girls' trip - only 5 of us in total. We were all comfortable the entire stay and had a great, relaxing vacation!

So much room! TWO kitchens! Beautiful lake view! Wonderful communication with the owner!
4.9
Fridge in main kitchen neither made ice nor kept drinks and ice cream (!) at proper temp. Carrying ice from the working fridge on lower floor got “old” very quickly. Path to dock not easily negotiated by older guests. A rope line down the middle of the steps could help solve it…like rope lines used at golf tournaments. Neither sink in master bedroom held water. Same with sink in bunk bed room. Ryan seemed sympathetic to fridge problem but sympathy did not lead to repair being launched. Despite all of the above we had a good time. It could have been a lot better.

We had a wonderful trip to this beautiful lake house, that surpassed all of our expectations. The house was very spacious for our six families to come from Florida and Ohio to spend a week together. There was so much room and everyone had a chance to relax. The lake is located in a quiet private section, so we were able to rent a pontoon boat for the week and basically have the lake to ourselves for tubing a swimming. We highly recommend this house and really appreciated the owner Ryan for being so kind and helpful!

Relaxing family get-away
We throughly enjoyed our time at this lake home. It was really well appointed & comfortable.
The host was responsive & available should you need anything.
The first day we saw a jet ski with young girls having fun. After that, it was just us enjoying the quiet cove by ourselves.
The neighbors we saw were very friendly.
Would definitely come back & make memories in this wonderful home.

Amazing stay
The location and property itself were amazing. The kids as well as the adults we in the water all day. We absolutely loved everything that Lake Lanier had to offer and the house was just perfect. The host was also very attentive and provided us with amazing recommendations for restaurants, nearby activities and boat rental.

There were 15 of us age 2-64. The house accommodated us well. The great room kitchen area was awesome and all 15 of us had meals and congregated there often. We floated off the dock every day - we brought our own floats of all shapes and sizes - we were quite the sight I’m sure, rented a pontoon and it was easy to get to the dock, went in to Helen twice for great food and shopping. We also enjoyed the fire pit area and made samores. We were a little surprised the lower level had a basement type vibe and seemed to have an odor, it was not updated as nice as top level, but had little impact on our stay.

Our family has always been a beach vacation family, but this year tried something new with the lake and we are so glad we did! The lake location was perfect for kayaking, swimming and SUP-ing. The cove is so quiet and peaceful with very little boat traffic. We are a group ages 10-75 and this house was perfect….want to watch the Olympics? Head down stairs to the game room. Want to read and take a nap? Snuggle on the comfortable couch in the main living room!
We have been renting houses for over 40 years and hands down this was the best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed at!
Ryan was an excellent communicator and jumped on any issues we had, like broken pool cues, by ensuring new ones were delivered during the week.
The only thing the house didn’t have that we wanted was a covered porch and fan on the upper deck. Maybe that will be added later.
We have already booked for next year and can’t wait to go back. We are officially a lake family instead of a beach family now!

Beautiful home. We had a wonderful week.
Beautiful home in a great location.

Home was exactly as shown on listing. The location was in a quiet cove on the lake with gorgeous sunset views. Bedrooms/beds were comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prep and cook every meal except 1 in a seven week stay for 14 people. Ryan is a considerate and responsive owner who cares about your stay being great. We would stay again if returning to Lake Lanier.

Great property. Easily accommodated large group. Nice quiet cove for swimming. Owner was easy to communicate with. Only downside was difficulty in getting down to the water for the grandparents in our group due to lack of any railing

We stayed a week at this property with my whole extended family 15 of us. The property is amazing and has everything we wanted or needed. Ryan was quick to respond to anything we may had questions about . We hope to be back soon.

Awesome property!
Awesome lake front property! Our group thoroughly enjoyed this home, plenty of room for everyone. The owner stayed in constant contact with us and made himself available should we need anything, which we didn’t. I would highly recommend this property for a large group, no regrets what so ever.

Everyone was impressed with the view, the quiet, and the spotless well equipped house! Best Vacation rental for a large group that we have ever had compared to multiple states, islands and foreign countries. Ryan was great with communication both before and during the stay.
We spent a week at Water's Edge with our adult sons and it was wonderful! Friends joined us for a few days and then extended family came for a long weekend.
We ate in most of the week and it was one of the best equipped kitchens I've ever had the joy to cook in! From an abundance of silverware, dishes and glasses to the meat thermometer, kitchen aid mixer, cutting boards and serving pieces, it had everything we needed.
2 refrigerators, 3 dishwashers and 2 ovens allowed us to keep a week of food for a crowd and our adult beverages chilled, as well as avoiding washing dishes by hand.
Water's Edge had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Some enjoyed a quiet cup of coffee gazing at the lake while others did yoga on the lower deck. Several commented that from their room, they couldn't hear a thing that was happening in the rest of the house.
The open floor plan, allowed older family members to hang out on the huge sofa and feel part of the group while younger family members prepared a meal. Several found a book they wanted to read. The game table was a hit!
This section of the lake was relatively quiet with respect to boating. The olympic rowing site was nearby and an easy spot to put in the boat. We parked our trailer (for 19 foot ski boat) beside the house for the week without blocking the drive or parking spaces. The only suggestion for improvement is the dock. There were no bumpers to protect the boat from the metal frame of the dock and one side had poison ivy growing in the foam. We solved this by buying additional rope to tie the boat from 4 corners and avoiding the plants, so it wasn't a problem but boaters should be aware.
Although the house feels very remote, it was an easy drive to groceries and dinner at Yellow Fin at the Gainesville town square. We drove 20 minutes to golf and 30 minutes to tube the Chattahoochie.
We all left feeling refreshed and eager to return next year!

Newly renovated, very clean, fully stocked
The home is as pictured and is very clean. One thing to note is that the house is at the bottom of a steep hill and there are inclines in the floor in some places, particularly the living room. This was a bit of a challenge for some of our elderly and mobility challenged family members. Otherwise, the house is fully stocked, everything is brand new and the kitchen is particularly a treat. We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving there. Also great fishing right off the dock!!

Beautiful home and location!
We had the best time! Our group of 10 had plenty of space in this large home! The kitchen is amazing and stocked with everything you could think of! We cooked every night and had every appliance and kitchen tool you could imagine! The pool table was a huge hit as well! There couldn’t be a better location- in a quiet cove we floated all day and enjoyed soaking up the sun! The host was fantastic and gave us the best boat rental recommendation! All together a phenomenal trip and would highly suggest staying here!!
