About this cabin rental
We have three quaint and cozy cabins that each comfortably sleep four.
They will only be available May 1 - October 1.
Each cabin has been renovated inside and out with new, knotty pine bathrooms and updated appliances.
The newly installed heaters will readily take the chill off cool mornings as you awake to the soft rustling of leaves, waves lapping the shoreline and the call of loons. Big Saint Germain Lake is one of the premier fishing lakes in northern Wisconsin. You can find lake details on the Wisconsin DNR website.
Although we do not have a private boat launch the public boat launch is just 1/5 mile to the west of us.

Stayed for a week at this great little cabin. Larry greeted us when we arrived. This was very helpful. Cabin had everything we needed. Beautiful lake and scenery. We will be back for sure.

Our family of four just loves this property. The boys go fishing while the girls relax on the beach or lawn. The water is shallow for quite a long way out and it's a sandy bottom. The lake is great for tubing as it's nice and big so it's not crowded. Plus it's nice and close to town. We're hoping to stay again next year.

Larry is a great host and you can tell he cares about your stay and maintaining his rentals! Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The property is well maintained. Larry is great to chat with too!

Our stay at the cabin was perfect for what we needed. Just our family of 4 prior to heading to the Chain for a giant family vacation. The cabin had what we needed to make a few small meals, we mostly tried the great restaurants near by, the road was quiet for my husband and I to do quick morning runs, and we would recommend to others. And the paddle boarding. The kids loved it on the smooth lake.

Peaceful, accommodating, quiet and convenient to local attractions and town. Literally a minute from boat launch. We saw a deer mom and her twins frolicking often. Wisconsin is a beautiful place. We stayed last year for our honeymoon and again this year with Larry. He is a great host and we will definitely be coming back!! Fishing was awesome. Some days better then others, but overall amazing! We also had the privilege of meeting some other guests and shared a Bon fire and company for few hours. Love our vacations in Wisconsin. Thank you, Larry!!!

Nice, affordable cabin on the lake
Very clean, affordable cabin on the lake. Larry is very nice and welcoming but at the same time leaves you alone unless you need something. Had a good time kayaking and fishing when weren't out in town. There is a fish shed set up where you have everything you need to take care of your fish without worry.
We stayed in cabin 4, which has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, a living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom with shower/bath and a small kitchen.

Wonderful stay!
Once on the VRBO website, rental was a breeze. Our 6-night stay was as promoted…clean, lovely location and responsive owner. Beautiful fall weather only added to our relaxing getaway.

Larry was a great host. The property is nice and clean. The firepit is amazing. The boat dock is perfect for your boat. The cabin is cozy. Small but served its purpose. We love being outside anyway. We saw deer in the morning on the property. It was a very nice time away from home.

Perfect up north get away
This is the perfect little cabin for your up north get away. It is right on the lake with a little sandy area as well. Larry has multiple tables and chairs set up outside as well. Larry was great and so responsive to any questions I had. The cabin was clean and had everything needed! Definitely recommend.

Rustic cabin with Beautiful view
The property was great. It was rustic with a northwoods feel. We had a great view of the lake. There were deer and eagles all around.
Larry was very nice and personable. He was willing to help out with anything we needed.

Our stay was great. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Larry is a very nice guy and accommodating, the beach area is super clean and the pier is great to tie up a boat. The eagles and the deer were also a joy to watch. We will be back.

Traditional Northwood Cabin!
A traditional northwoods summer cabin! Great big picture window to look out over the lake. Property was clean. Had a chance to meet he property owner when we checked in and we crossed paths with him at dinner at Clearview. Very nice and engaging. Great rates. Great location. Great property. Lovely firepit to sit around at night. Loved having the use of the dock. Perfect for a small family. We would definitely consider renting here again!

Very relaxing
Stayed here with my family for a week and had a great time. Fishing & swimming right off the dock. Eagles were everywhere...in our trees at cabin & all over the lake when we went fishing. Location was perfect-minutes into town & neighboring cities. Larry was great to work with!

Great!!
This was a last minute booking to replace a Canada trip. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we did not meet the owner due to illness but everything still went like clockwork. We would book here again.. Best wishes to the owner for a speedy recovery. Look forward to meeting you next time.

Beautiful Lake
Wonderful property with gorgeous views and great amenities. Nice dock, boat house for storage, separate space for cleaning fish, fire pit, picnic tables and grill for outdoor dining. Had a great time.

Perfection
Family of four had a great time. Plenty of space. We were right on the water. The dock was great. Had a small storage shed to keep the boat supplies. Property was well maintained as well as the cabins. The cabin was well supplied. We will be back.

Great Little Cabin
We enjoyed our time at Chamberlain Resort! The cabin had a beautiful view of the lake from both the living room and kitchen. The place was small, but cozy. The cabin is on Larry's property with two other cabins and his house. Even so, you still have your privacy. Larry is incredibly friendly, helpful, and easygoing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would definitely go back!

Rustic Cabin on a gorgeous property
My family had an awesome 4-night stay here. We stayed cabin #4. The cabin was very clean and well-equipped. Be warned that there is no WiFi and only 5 tv channels, but I think this is a good thing, as it allows you to spend more time playing games or being outdoors.
The grounds were very nice and had lots of room for kids to run around. The pier was nice as well, and eagles would often fly overhead.
All-in-all a great place to stay with a small family. You will be sure to leave more relaxed than when you arrived.

Clean, Comfortable, Lakefront Location
The cabin is steps from beautiful Big St Germain Lake. Overall location is minutes from St Germain, and 15 minutes to Minocqua or Eagle River. Cabin was quiet, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for a Northwoods getaway.

Perfect
This was a perfect place for our family to vacation. The location offered us access to activities in Woodruff (Fred Scheer's Lumberjack Show) and St. Germain (Elmer's Fun Park), as well as proximity to a state park. We also had enough seclusion to just enjoy being together. Larry is a great host and we're eager to come back next year!

Nothing but a great place to stay!
Wow! We stayed for almost a week and we loved it! The cabin was amazing and the property was right on the water with a great view! Very beautiful lake, eagles and wildlife everywhere, extremely clear water with a sandy bottom. There was an extremely nice dock for our boat, lots of shallow water for swimming/wading. Larry was very accommodating, he even made a campfire and brought along s’mores one of the nights, what a guy! We will be back!
