Nice Place Except for the Bed

This property was very clean. The living area was comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed; however we would have appreciated a toaster. The radiant floor heating works very well. The window shades provide good privacy. The building is secure. The towel warmer works double duty as a bathroom heater. The shower water pressure was good, and the temperature was as well. The location was close enough to the Christmas markets to easily walk. A Monoprix is close by. Restaurant Sahmeran is close by, and has very good food & service. Overall, we were happy with this property, either one huge exception (see below).

This property immediately gets two points off for the bed: it is a one bedroom apartment without a proper bed! There is a Murphy bed which is marginally comfortable. At the end, there is about 12 inches between the sharp edges of the frame and a piano. Really?? A piano in the bedroom?? We think the owner has nowhere else to store it, so it is stuck there, making the bedroom cramped and uncomfortable. Multiple others have commented about the piano, but no one had stated that there is a Murphy bed - this is not a real bed! It is a shame that that tarnishes this property. For this reason, we would not stay there again.

Eine Fewo zum Wohlfühlen

Sehr schöne gut ausgestattete Fewo ganz in der Nähe der Altstadt. Herzliche Begrüßung durch den Junior der Vermieter. Tiefgaragen-Parkplatz. Ein kleiner runder Couchtisch könnte noch ergänzt werden 😉.

Geweldig verblijf in mooi appartement op 6 minuten lopen van oude centrum.

De indeling en inrichting van het appartement. Heel smaakvol en gezellig. Slechts 6 minuten lopen naar het oude stadscentrum. Chantal is een vriendelijke en zeer attente gastvrouw!

Great location and very comfortable

Had a wonderful stay at this apartment for 6 nights. It is a very generous size for two people and had everything you could need to cook whatever meals you wanted, a great sized bathroom and a washing machine, dishwasher etc. as well as a nice supply of coffee pods and dishwashing tablets. Is super well located just a short walk in to the old city of Colmar and its location is easy to drive in and out of to do day trips. Check in and out was very easy and communication was great. Overall the perfect place to stay in Colmar

PERFEKT

Es war die perfekte Unterkunft für unseren Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Stadtzentrum war sehr nah. Und die Weinstraße konnte man von hier aus wunderbar erkunden.die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Excellent base for a couple to explore Colmar and the Alsace

The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our week in Colmar. The decor is modern and stylish. Great location; a walk into the centre of town took only 5 minutes. There are many great eating places and sights to see. Chantal, our host, was very kind and took the time to explain all the facilities including guiding us on the best way to negotiate the underground carpark! The private parking was a bit tight and patience is required but it was fine. I would say if you have a huge SUV it might be a bit too much of a challenge! However, having access to a private parking space was a real benefit as most of the public parking spaces in the city were full each day and charged to park. Colmar station is around 20 minutes walk and from there we took the train for a day trip to Strasbourg. The Vosge mountains with their beautiful towns, hill walks, and many castles are a short drive away.

Nothing much to say hear, everything was great. If I were being super picky a little less furniture (like the piano!) in the bedroom may have made moving around easier.

Great time.

Chantal was a wonderful hostess. The apartment was modern, spotless and had everything you could need (except maybe a microwave). The apartment was close to everything happening in Colmar and the parking was a bonus. Beautiful town, lovely apartment. Many thanks.

Comfortable modern apartment in an easily accessible location

Nice, modern and clean apartment just 3 minutes' walk from the old town. Basement parking was much appreciated, as we used the car most days - we were hoping to use public transport more, but the one time we tried to catch a bus, it didn't turn up! In any case public transport into the vineyard areas was very limited. The apartment had everything one needed - whilst it didn't really matter, a microwave oven would have been useful. The shower room was spacious and light, and the lounge area was comfortable. We would be happy to stay here again.

Only a minor niggle, but there was some occasional impact noise from the flat above.

great few days would book in here again

great location, 5 minutes walk to town centre. Private parking. well equipped. Balcony for outside space. Comfortable bed and furnishings.

be aware parking manoeuvring difficult with largish car. No clothes hangers in wardrobe.

Super clean and super location.

Location was excellent - just a short walk to the city center. The apartment was super clean and it was nice to have an own kitchen and small balcony. There was a secure place for our bicycles inside the building.

There was a garage for safe and free parking but it was very difficult to get the car in and out (and we don't have a very big car)

Definitely a place to stay again

Dubick was a great host! She met us at the apartment and told us everything about the house, the activities in the city. Unfortunately our journey coincided with the protests in France and most of our trains were cancelled. Dubich was so kind that she was very interested and even searched for other alternatives for us to visit cities nearby. The house is just by the circle of christmas markets and also very close to a big supermarket. 7-10 minutes of walking distance. The train station is also close, 20 minutes by walk. The kitchen utensils are more than enough you can cook anything you want. Plus espresso, filter coffee machines.. The house is equipped with the ground heating system so no worries for the winter visitors. Wi-fi works properly.

excellent flat near the centre but in a very quiet location

the location was excellent (5-10mins from the centre) but in a nice and quite area. the furniture was very modern and functional. the elevator was also very useful since we were with a baby in her carrycot. I loved the piano in the bedroom (my little baby too) the selection of tea and coffee was excellent.

Parking space was a bit small and required some manoeuvring. toiletries selection could have been better. no microwave to warm up food for our baby.
