About this house rental
Our Diamond Point vacation home is conveniently located between the village of Lake George and the town of Bolton Landing. There is a lake view when trees are not in full bloom. It is remodeled, comfortable, and peaceful with a babbling brook in the backyard. There are 3 bedrooms in the house, with an additional sitting room with a full bed. The house is fully equipped as we used this as a second home before making it a vacation rental. There is an adjoining deck with a grill for barbecues, and second deck off the master bedroom. Kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles are available for your use. We have a nearby cabin that is on the water, where we keep the kayaks and paddle boards.
Our house is located 3 1/2 miles north of the village of Lake George and 5 miles south of Bolton Landing. The surrounding area offers many outdoor activities; swimming, biking, hiking and horseback riding are all readily available. Shopping, an array of restaurants, amusement parks and historic and cultural sites are also nearby. Bus transportation is available to all the nearby attractions and towns from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is less than 30 minutes to Saratoga, providing an excellent location during horse racing season.
There are several public beaches within 10 minutes from the house.There is a large deck with a picnic table for outdoor eating, and a screened in porch for relaxing in the evenings. Several books, movies, and games are available for your use. Our house remains cool throughout the summer, while allowing you to enjoy the summer fun during the day. We have installed central air conditioning, and there are ceiling fans in most of the rooms. There are many great restaurants in the area, numerous outdoor activities, and entertainment venues nearby.
We have been vacationing in Lake George for more than 30 years. Diamond Point is a 5 minute drive to the Lake George village or Bolton Landing, but more peaceful and avoids the summer crowds. It is less than 3 miles from the Northway (87) and provides easy access to the entire Adirondack region.

I stayed with 5 friends and 2 dogs in this house for 5 days and this place was perfect. Big house very comfortable and clean, but the host made our stay be even better taking us for kayak and being super kind with many recommendations and tips. I would totally choose this house again and would recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

We didn't spend much time at the house. We used it as home base and were gone a lot. A/c was great. Very humid week. Close to most anything on lake George. Chris was very easy to work with.

The house was totally equipped with anything and everything you could want or need. It was spacious and homey. The location was very desirable being close to both Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. Couldn’t have asked for more

Chris’s place made us feel at home. It’s a very comfortable house and there were loads of books to read about the area and for fun. We enjoyed cooking together and were very glad to find such a well appointed kitchen. The grill and the big backyard for the dog to run in were added bonuses as were the brownies and the squash. The location is very convenient to Bolton Point and Lake George. We enjoyed eating at some of the restaurants Chris recommended.

Like the title states, house was nice and very comfortable.
Owner met us when we arrived, and gave a tour of the home (and of course her famous brownies). House location was close enough to the main area of Lake George but gave us the privacy we wanted.

House was dirty. Mattress pad in one bedroom had blood stains. Oven and toaster were disgustingly dirty. Half drank Snapple bottle under one bed. Bedrooms and fans were full of dust. Screen enclosed porch was full of cobwebs. Ant traps were on kitchen counters. I have pictures of some of it. Not happy at all and will never stay there again. Also may not use VRBO again as I feel properties should be inspected more.

Had a great time. House was terrific--Clean and right by the Lake. Huddle Bay Beach 4 miles away. Chris is a great host--Arranged for us to use her kayaks and Sup Board. Steep stairs to second floor bedrooms. Middle bedroom on second floor has little privacy and no closet. Great showers and very comfortable living and dining rooms. nice big yard. Close to all Lake George has to offer.

It was a very nice and comfortable home. Wish it overlooked the lake and had access to a private beach with kayaking. It was a little awkward to have to notify the homeowner and be escorted to kayak. For that reason, we only went once.

Enjoyed our stay here. Location was perfect - only a few minutes from both Lake George village and Bolton Landing. The house was clean and roomy enough for 7 of us. Quiet neighborhood and very convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Host was very helpful ( brownies were great). The screened porch was a plus. Would definitely look to stay here again.

We enjoyed the Bolton landing beaches and used the free parking passes provided by owner. BBQ was great and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Reached out to Chris once or twice her response time was quick and helpful.

Christine was a super host and even greeted us with brownies! She walked us through the house upon our arrival and told us about things to do in Lake George and the surrounding area.
It was nice that there were cameras on all sides of the house and on the porch to make us feel safe. The home needed some dusting and a deep clean of the shower doors in the upstair shower. However, over all the home was very clean.
The home was perfect size for our family of 7 and 1 dog. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the deck. It was like going to Grandma's house.
The home is in the perfect location for Lake George and Bolton Landing. Downtown Lake George was a short drive from this home. We spent a lot of time doing tourist things in downtown. Be sure to prepare to pay for parking downtown with meters, paid parking and download the ParkMobile app before coming . We even took a day trip to Vermont to see an old friend. Sadly, the private beach is closed. We did not take advantage of the kayaks.
Should we take another family vacation we would certainly rebook with Christine at her Diamond Point home. Thank you for hosting our stay.

The property is cozy and is located in an excellent location. Our host Chris was very responsive and always available to answer our queries. She even had brownies made for us when we arrived and they were delicious!

Rented this lovely home for Americade. Very convenient, yet quiet. Loved the screened in porch to enjoy morning coffee. Dog loved the woods & stream in the backyard. Washer and dryer was a big bonus.

Chris is warm & welcoming. House is comfortable and has many rooms to accommodate us all easily. It also has many places to allow multiple people to enjoy simultaneously.

Our family stayed here for a weekend while attending a family get-together in the Lake George area. We found the home very clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities, a well-equipped kitchen, and outside eating areas. Chris, the owner, welcomed us with a tour of the house. She was very accessible throughout our stay. The property has easy access to Lake George village and Bolton Landing, and there's a grocery store not too far away. It perfectly suited our needs.

Communication with the owners was fast, informative, and very friendly. When we arrived, the owner was waiting for us and gave us a tour and great information on surrounding areas (and also a delicious plate of brownies). The house was located within 15 minutes of anywhere we went, which was great.. especially with having 3 young children with us! It was a great place to visit, even with the rain!

Our week at the house in Diamond Point was wonderful. Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen was large and well equipped. The ceiling fans and window fans kept the house comfortable even though it was fairly humid for a few days. There is a brook behind the house that was nice to listen to at night. Location was great for our purposes, close to Bolton, Lake George Village and Warrensburg. We would definitely stay there again.

We travel with several disabled children and though there were lots of stairs, overall the home was perfect for our needs!!! The access to a washer and dryer was a huge bonus! We made breakfast and most dinners at the house which saved lots of money. We also visited Rogers Beach in Bolton Landing (another very cute town up the road only 10 minutes) and it was PERFECT for us!! We also traveled with our dog and the locked screened porch was wonderful for Roscoe and our youngest to enjoy sitting outside on the couches without worrying about their escape. Our family wanted to bring our boat to Lake George during July to get out on the water. Christine and Brett's house was perfect for us. Christine had parking in her driveway for our car, the boat and our sons car. We put in at Bolton Landing several times and enjoyed Lake George from the water, what an especially beautiful lake it is. We had plenty of room inside the house for 6 adults and enjoyed a fire outside and the picnic table with umbrella for meals. Very close to Bolton Landing and Lake George Village. We had access to the Diamond Point beach area which is walking distance from the house. The house is in a very quiet, well kept area and we had everything we needed. Christine was very helpful with our quesitons and showed us around the property upon arrival.

Chris met us when we arrived and gave a tour of the home, provided detailed information about the Lake George area, and surprised us with delicious brownies. The home is very comfortable, nicely equipped for cooking meals, and located a short driving distance from the village of Lake George and Bolton Landing. Our family enjoyed our stay:)
