Location good for getting to different parts of Anglesey but the village felt a little transient and a car was definitely needed to explore further afield. Some shops and take aways nearby. Proximity to co op useful. The property has some nice decor and touches. Lounge area comfortable. Smart TV access a bonus.
Information about parking misleading. Although we parked as advised, there are many signs in the car park stating overnight stays not allowed and this was confirmed by a staff member of the James Pringle Shop who stated that we should park elsewhere. Perhaps this needs clarifying for future guests.
The cooking facilities were quite poor for a self catering place. Not sure whether a large saucepan is missing but there were only two very small saucepans, a small frying pan, one baking tray and one oven dish which for a family of 3 was not really adequate so we ended up mostly eating out. The place was quite dusty in places, and the microwave was so dirty we didn't even want to use it (see picture). The bin also had part of the lid missing so we could smell the rubbish in the main living area. The cereals provided had very short dates and one went out of date during our stay.
The bedrooms were smaller than expected. There is a generator at the rear of the property (maybe from the pub next door) which comes on and off all night and kept us awake and the double bed needs either tightening or replacing as it was very creaky.
This place has a lot of potential but needs a bit of TLC to be more comfortable and relaxing place to stay. For the price we expected a little more.

Location shower kitchen washing machine
Bed creaky and uncomfortable. Steep and narrow staircase with toilet downstairs. Very poor quality towels and bed linen made the stay disappointing.

The house was practically perfect. Firstly, it is in a perfect location right next to all of the food places and shops, as well as the train station and bus stop. It was perfectly presented and clean, with a warm homely vibe. Moving in and out was extremely easy and the facilities were top notch.
4.2
Very cute and near to allocations
No mirror in bedroom ..could do with milk being left for offer as coffee and tea left but no milk
4.2
Very clean, comfortable property. easy communication and host support
Nothing.

Good instructions given on how to find it, house was cosy and warm. Only criticism was that there wasn't much storage space for clothes, etc but we lived out of our suitcases and that was fine. Food at the Penrhos Arms next door is good and reasonably priced if you want to eat out of an evening. I'd recommend this as a holiday destination any day of the week.
As I said above, the let is cosy but this means storage space is at a premium. The TV was equipped with a firestick but no instructions on how to use it - no great loss as the weather was so good we spent almost the entire holiday exploring North Wales and Anglesey.

Nice little home near to all attraction and easy parking
Nice and cosy little home have all what u need for stay

Location worked for us. Close to kids activities and the ferry. Free car parking was very welcome
Everything was fine for our few days.
4.2
Loved the cozy cottage feel!
Perfect location for getting around easily.
Communication with the host was great.
A little note on the blackboard and booklet welcoming us.
Great decor loved the light in the kitchen and hanger in the bedroom.
Nice little touches like a blanket, been able to have smart TV, loved the little night lights too.
There was a nice little welcome box with a few treats in.
It was clean comfortable.
TV, WiFi, toiletries, hairdryer and all you'd need for a home from home stay.
4.2
Could have bit bit more spacious but small and comfy
4.2
Quirky, clean, comfortable beds & plenty of home comforts.
4.2
brilliant little place with loads of character.
Only drawback would be needs a little more kitchen utensils. cheese grater, large spoons, some more baking trays, mixing bowl.
4.2
Well equipped and good location.
Welcome pack
Not as clean as it could be, found a child's dummy just under the sofa on the first night, dusty in corners. Bulb in living room not working. Very squeaky main bed, made a noise every time we moved.

This was a lovely little cottage. I was visiting for work purposes so did not spend too much time on the property. However it was perfectly nice. All amenities are in walking distance and the locals were very friendly. Owner was easy to contact if needed anything.
4.2
Very cozy and lovely environment to live in, in a very nice location not far from lots to do. Was very quiet which is what we booked the place for.
The bathroom was downstairs so had to sleep on the floor and the couch downstairs.
Updated: Had quite a rude text from the host when I uploaded my original review, telling me that it was my fault why our experience wasn't up to the standard required. If I can help anybody here, do avoid this property at all costs!

Location was very good. Just off the mainland. We know anglesey well so its easy to get around.
The double mattress was very uncomfortable so slept in the bunkbeds the 2nd night. They were much better. The place was clean but a bit tired and needed a little attention in some places. We also couldn't get on to the Netflix which was meant to be available.
4.2
The location was handy to travel to other places. Local takeaways, chemist, shops and pubs close by. Train station directly over the road with free parking.
The beds were very uncomfortable. Mattress not good and bed frame very creaky even to point it woke us up several times throughout the night.. Hot water only accessible via immersion heater which had to be on for 20 mins or so to get it. No real storage space for your luggage, needs a wardrobe in the double room. I also thought it was slightly overpriced for what it was.

the shower
the heating was great but hot water meant a little planning

perfect location, small & cosy. great communication with owner. very quiet area
bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable.

amazing terraced house. Just what we wanted!
nothing, everything was great
4.2
Excellent location, everything we needed in the house
It says there was milk at the property, but we had to go to the shop
4.2
Nice open plan design, convenient location for exploring the coast. Felt private and not overlooked.
Only criticism is lack of cupboard space in kitchen- nowhere to store food, but wasn't a huge problem and wouldn't put me off staying again.
4.2
Good location
Need a new mattress for double bed , dipped in the middle so occupants roll to the middle. Also a bit more utensils for the kitchen.
4.2
The location was good for our stay
Hanging space in the bathroom
4.2
nicely presented cute house

The location was great for exploring the north west region of Wales.
The accommodation was typical of this area close to the station.
The entrance needs a few flower pots and colour to make a good first impression.
I would have liked to have known that there was no bathroom upstairs near the bedrooms.
The TV sound was variable.
Another guest's food had been left in the fridge.

The cottage was really lovely, so clean and would highly reccomend cottage , location was perfect for sight seeing
4.2
The location was ideal with parking directly opposite the property and easy access at check in time. The host had communicated brilliantly prior to, on arrival and after our stay. The property was wonderful with personalised, homely touches, a fleece blanket on the chair for a cosy evening, notes on the chalkboard, a welcome box with tea, coffee, jam, cereal and waffles. The decor suited the property and was unique, the laundry facilities were a bonus and provision of a hair dryer, iron and airer added bonuses. The Hideaways Wales labelling on the shower and dish wash products is an added touch to personalise the property and its provision of a quality stay. All recommendations are welcomed by the host for consideration and the guest book was a nice touch to see who had stayed before!
The clocks didn't keep time - batteries needed changing (minor thing, easily remedied at next change over)
No access to additional bedding (pillows or blankets/sheets - if we had needed them)

Good location for traveling around Anglesey. Well equipped house. Host easy to communicate with. Parking very close by. Supermarket, pub and take aways within walking distance. Bedrooms lovely and warm.
No WiFi throughout stay - possibly due to weather. Double bed very creaky and not very comfortable. Downstairs took a long time to warm up - the bathroom (which is downstairs off the kitchen) especially took a long time to reach a comfortable temperature.
4.2
I like that it was like home away from home, all the home comfort were present.
the bed squeaks a lot

Location was great and the cottage was really cosy. We stayed in mid January and it was really nice to come back after a long day of walking in the cold to a nice warm house.
We cooked all our evening meals using the cooker provided and we came across no issues. There were plenty of pans, cutlery and chopping boards and ample room to prepare a meal.
The shower was lovely and warm though towels provided were really small so would recommend you bring your own.
We were recommended to park at the James Pringle car park, however this closes at 5 and there were notices all over that told us that we were not allowed to park there overnight. We were able to park on the street but I don't know if this would be possible in summer.
The bed was not comfortable. It made a noise any time either me or my husband moved so we were constantly waking each other up and it sank in the middle so we both kept ending up in the middle of the bed.
4.2
Clean, tidy and cosy. Great location
4.2
Lovely little cottage, convenient location, great kitchen facilities. Free parking close by.
Double bed was so saggy I ended up sleeping on the bunk bed whilst husband slept in main bed 🤦♀️
4.2
Really lovely interior decoration and the hosts were really helpful. Great location for exploring Anglesey and helpful leaflets of activities and sightseeing left in the cottage to advise what to do/see.
Perhaps a few new utensils as some, such as the can opener, did not work.
