1 The Cross is located in Mineheads "old town" of North hill, the cottage is located just in front of the historic St Michaels church and Church steps in an elevated position to enjoy the views.

A great base to explore the awesome surroundings of Exmoor or a peaceful relaxing holiday surrounded by beautiful countryside a walkers paradise.

The Cottage is within walking distance of the beach and town centre.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms 1 with en-suite shower room, and sleeps 4 people. Main bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobe and en-suite and feature fireplace.
Bedroom 2 has twin single beds and fitted wardrobe.
Open plan sitting/dining room with smart TV, WIFI, wood burner and comfortable seating area, dining room with seating for 4 people, books and games.
Hand crafted fitted kitchen with intergrated fridge with freezer compartment, cooker, ceramic hob, belfast sink, microwave and oak worktops.
Downstairs bathroom with bath/shower mixer tap, WC, Sink.
At the rear of the property is an enclosed patio with outdoor seating for 4 and cottage garden.

We had a great time in this lovely cottage and enjoyed our stay very much. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the little garden and the communication with the property manager was so smooth. We can definitely recommend it!

We loved this cottage which is all heart! Owner has put much thought and care into it. If we had a suggestion that would be to leave a pint of milk for newcomers who may have had a long journey and longing for a cuppa!!!

The holiday home is a terraced house in the upper town, which is a listed building. It has been extensively renovated and equipped with all modern comforts. The owners have furnished it extremely tastefully, giving it its own, very pleasant touch. Particularly worth mentioning is the well planted small garden with a terrace on which there is a seating area. Despite the cool weather, we enjoyed our stay there. The holiday home is recommended for anyone who doesn't mind the steep, seven hundred metre walk to the town centre.

Cosy cottage, lovely garden. Loved North Hill and Exmoor ponies, Dunster castle, Periwinkle Tearoom at Selworthy. Enjoyed day trip to Clovelly and Saunton sands

We had a lovely time in this cottage. The house was very well equipped, veel clean and Verity, the host, thought of everything. Minehead is an interesting and beautiful village and we made some nice walk. We will return.

We have stayed at the cottage several times and we love it! The cottage is immaculate. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, even a towel in the porch for muddy dog paws. The weather was mixed but we managed to go walking every day. Walked up to North Hill and saw some lovely Exmoor ponies and our dog loved playing on Dunster beach. We will definitely be back.

This is a gem of a cottage, spotlessly clean and well located for either a walk up to North hill or along the sea front. Whatever you decide there are plenty of places to eat and drink along the way. Great comms with the host too

We have had a fantastic stay in this beautiful cottage in Minehead. We can wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to spend a nice time in Minehead. The area is great: on the hill on top of Minehead which is a nice town with a huge beach. Exmoor generally is impressive, beautiful nature, great walks around. Don’t miss The Valley of rocks and Bossington. So: 5 stars!

We had an enjoyable stay at 1 The Cross. Property very clean, well equipped and with a small private garden. Unfortunately weather was not good but we still managed to visit various local attractions. Town is a short steep downhill walk away but alternatively there are lot of Pay & Display parking spaces available.

Minehill itself i s a little bit to much“ Seasideresort but the area where we stayed and the house were perfect!! The area county and sea, beaches and hills are really beautiful

The Cottage was delightful, comfortable, clean, & well equiped. Great for dogs too with a small garden. Slight problem with the location though. Nowhere in the adverting did it say that though it was a shortish walk to the Beach & Shops, the Cottage area was on a steep slope, so unsuitable for Asthmatics, Disabled or Elderly. We just managed!!!

A beautiful cottage, plenty of living space, with a lovely little back garden. Parking is on street but generally found a space quite close. The property can get a bit cold so pack some slippers and make use of the log burner! On the whole a lovely property with everything you need.

The property was as advertised - very clean and well equipped (just lacked oven gloves). Comfortable bed (bedding could be better quality but was clean). Really appreciated the central heating as weather wasn't very good. Lovely garden with patio area and seating. Parking could be an issue for people with walking difficulties. Its on road parking and we had to park quite a bit down the road as space opposite the house was in constant use by others. Would visit again.

Really lovely little cottage, in a pretty, quiet, old neighbourhood on the outskirts of Minehead. The cottage is very clean, beautifully decorated and very well-appointed. Dog-friendly with a safe, enclosed garden. A dog towel was provided, which was a very thoughtful touch, although we brought our own. Great location, being a 10 minute walk to the seafront or town centre, or a very short drive to endless walks on Exmoor. We particularly enjoyed our early morning dog walk along Church Lane to woodland. A great base to explore Exmoor. Highly recommended!

Lovely characterful cottage. Owner leaves lots of literature and is always available for issues that may arise. Ideal for walking the hills but, be wary, property is a long way up North Hill so you need to be relatively fit to walk to town and surrounding areas and back ! ( otherwise take the car). Minehead has lots of facilities and amenities , really love it there!

We have just returned after a short break and would definitely recommend a stay here. The cottage was immaculate and full of character. It was very well equipped and was an ideal base to explore the stunning Exmoor countryside. We hope to return again soon. Many thanks!

The cottage was very well presented in a great location. Everything you need is supplied. This cottage is very comfortable with a nice wood burner plenty of comfortable seating. There are great views from the back garden. Cottage is at the top of a hill with great views and even a sea view at an angle from the master bedroom.

The cottage had everything we needed. The location was divine and dispite the weather we had a lovely time. The garden was lovely and we can imagine in the warmer weather we would have enjoyed the use of outdoor space. The log fire was perfect and the property warm and cosy. The availability of stair gates was a super addition. We personally dont like our dog upstairs so we were able to ensure this rule still applied on our holiday. The short walk into town and to the beach was great amd our daughter and dog throughly enjoyed this. This was a great find for us and we hope to enjoy many more holidays here in the future.

We can highly recommend this Cortage. Stayed here many times Summer and Winter. Lovely enclosed garden. Bonus for us is to hear bell ringing practice on Friday evenings. I
