Fantastic place to stay in Weymouth

The location of the property was really convenient as its right next to the train station but tucked away down a road with minimal noise. The property was well equipped and check-in was very easy with a lockbox. I will be looking for this property again next time I visit Weymouth!

Superb

The location is perfect for local connections and bus routes and walking. The accommodation has everything you need: a dishwasher, washing machine even central heating. Lovely and clean and a little back patio area with seating

It's not far from the beach ..

Too many things to list..a few points I'm retired and have never given a bad review in my life before but here goes The biggest problem is safety Both the terraced house and the neighborhood are a crime or accident waiting to happen.. .. it's an impoverished area of a generally very poor town.. lots of broken glass and rubbish in the street all the time . We cleared some broken sheet glass after 4 days..locals not bothering there are many unsavoury characters in the streets even before the refugee barge is filled The stairs would not be building regulations compliant if built now You are forced to fit the stairgate... that doesn't fit well..to stop the dog going up stairs it's a miracle if you don't break your neck .. evidently there was an electric cable downstairs that my dog chewed..I didn't see it but she could have been killed The hot water is terrible..half an hour to fill the bath. Cannot run two taps at once The hosts are highly inconsiderate.. see below. £170 per night for a couple is bad value . They asked for more for a dog when the information in the property does not mention the charge and the website doesn't highlight it either We had the parking permit stolen in Penny Street whilst unloading and the hosts were really inconsiderate . Asked us to pay for it and no replacement for the remainder of the stay .a big nuisance as the parking is very bad in Weymouth even with a permit

Loved all of it loved the little garden and you can use car park permit for small fee

The property was exceptionally clean. Perfect location - short walk to the sea front. Not being able to park outside property was not a bother. Only a short walk to car park.

Location near to beach. Comfortable bedrooms. Very clean and tidy

TV signal was not very good. Ice cube trays would have been welcome.

Very good

Although only a short walk from the seafront and the station area, the cottage was quiet and cosy. The overall facilities were excellent. It is on street parking but given we weren’t in a hurry to get out in the morning and returned before 5 most days we had no problem finding a space opposite.

My elderly mother was nervous of using the bathroom at night as there were 2 steps down from the landing and another step up to reach it. Not a problem for me but worth noting that this is the situation.

My 3 year old and I really enjoyed staying. Its very homely feeling and well laid out. Very accommodating for young children, with a step stall, gates, bed guards etc.

I can't think of much I didn't like to be honest. Maybe the stairs as my son slipped down a couple times.

Really comfortable beautifully maintained cottage. Parking permit for nearby car park was provided. Lovely patio to relax in and a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

It was a beautiful, warm, clean, comfortable cottage in a great and quiet location. There are 2 general stores and a launderette within a minutes walk from the cottage and the town centre is about a 5 minute stroll away.

Cottage was excellent, very clean and comfortable well equipped wifi and what a treat Nexflix as well, only short distance from beach and town. Dog friendly nice court yard garden. Would recommend 10 /10

We stayed a few days, waiting for our own heating to be fixed, and felt like we were on holiday!

The cottage was spotlessly clean, and nice and warm despite the freezing cold weather outside! The decor was fresh, and little seaside touches added to its charm. The bed was super-comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we even played one of the games thoughtfully provided.

We liked everything about the cottage – it's a real find.

There was a lot of noise on 2 of the 3 nights, until 5am . We got no sleep on these nights which ruined the following days of our holiday. The owner turned up at 10.15 the next morning and ordered us out of the property in a very aggressive shouty way... I explained that we were all packed and about to leave and that 'had she no sympathy for the fact we had not slept?' My daughter got very upset and was scared with tears in her eyes. We remained calm and rushed to get out Other people have commented on the noise in the reviews , I missed them The owner is now trying to use the fact that we were late leaving and that we didn't leave £4.50 parking money as their challenge to our compla

Fantastic holiday cottage

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the owners were exceptionally helpful. The location was close to the beach and just 15/20 minutes from the main shopping/entertainment areas.

Exceptional

Spotlessly clean house, short walk to the Bus and Railway stations. The TV and WiFi were great and it had an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your food. A great place to unwind after doing long hikes on the South West Coast path. If I did have one negative point, a Washing Machine instead of a Dishwasher. All in all an excellent well maintained property.
