Amazing hotel in Kamari

Everything ! The view , the position on beach , quieter end) the pool , the BREAKFAST all were amazing ! The staff were super friendly and it was wonderful having the on-site bar in the afternoons . We would return everytime when we go over to Greek islands .

Not to do with property . The Sea at kamari is challenging to get into even with beach shoes , rocks were slippery . Therefore it was AMAZING TO HAVE THE HOTEL ON THE BEACH , with view of sea and then have a stunning pool to swim in at the BOATHOUSE hotel 👍

Exceptional

All the staff knew when we were arriving, and knew us by name the following day! Everyone was incredibly friendly, even their resident cat called Zeus! They were able to arrange airport / port transfers easily and made sure we were taken care of. The breakfast was delicious, and location was perfect for wandering around Kamari. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing beach front hotel.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Great location away from the mad crowds of Fira/Oia. So happy we chose to stay down at the beach. We rented a car and explored the whole island. Really great breakfast.

Front line opposite beach and with its own pool. Very close to airport for 10 minute transfer. Close to plenty of restaurants. Has its own bar. Breakfast is amazing, plenty of choice and the staff go to great lengths to make sure you are well fed.

Right under flight path of airport so noise from planes taking off and landing. Noise only lasts about 10 seconds but takes some getting used to as there are plenty of flights to and from airport. Some days it’s from 06:30 to 02:00 the following day.

Staff was very friendly.Breakfast was awesome.Hot/cold breakfast served unlimited juices/ coffee tea etc.Shower was nice and hot all times

Excellent, will definitely book again

Excellent breakfast customised individually and with good quality products and variety. Very friendly and helpful stuff, always eager to accommodate our needs. Excellent location, literarily just a few meters from the beach, restaurants etc.

We would prefer a moveable shower head with hose, instead of a fixed overhead one, but this was not a problem.

Magnificent Location

Great location right on the sea front. Excellent breakfasts and the management and staff so helpful and eager to please. Great pool with a bar and plenty of cold Mythos to keep you going. Plenty of choices to eat out as there are restaurants everywhere.

The stairs to room 17 were a bit painful for the older persons but other than that everything was perfect.

Idyllic Beachside Gem

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Boathouse. Terrific family run beachside hotel with plenty of restaurants etc. nearby. Very comfortable room with seaview & excellent bathroom. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay with a wonderful selection of fresh food available & prepared to your taste. Diane & her staff could not have been more helpful & informative about what to do and where to go and also facilitated us with a room for an extra night when the ferries were cancelled! We highly recommend the Boathouse and hope to visit again in the future.

Exceptional

Had an amazing stay at the wonderful family run Boathouse hotel. Staff were so welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions. The location is perfect, opposite the beach and near all the wonderful restaurants and bars. The breakfast was amazing. Rooms comfortable and well equiped. Great hairdryer. No TV in the room which actually made you totally switch off and relax. Recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise on the beach.

Great location .owners and staff are wonderful. Breakfast exceptional. Made whatever you wanted by order and very good. Rooms were a good size and the bathrooms are not typical box lol. Would definitely return xo

This is a problem for us but because we r non smokers . It's greece lol.ppl. smoke anywhere but maybe no smoking during breakfast at the tables .80% of guess didn't smoke and the few that did have no respect to not smoke during breakfast even with kids next to them..so we breath it in its gross and unhealthy. Second hand smoke..just my recommendations. Xo

Fantastic, traditional family run hotel, spectacular hospitality, amazing breakfasts.

Diane and Spiros were fantastic hosts and could not do enough to please their guests. You arrived as guests and felt as though you left as friends. The hospitality was outstanding, the breakfasts amazing (the scales said as much this morning!) The onsite little bar was reasonably priced, as was the lunchtime snacks. The pool was very clean as was the areas around the pool, plenty of comfortable sunbeds. We loved the feel of the place, everyone was so friendly as a lot of the guests were repeaters, so they also made you feel very welcome. We stayed in the quad room (family) which had a side sea view, and it was still a very good sea view. We liked the fact that we did not have a restaurant on the prom in front of the hotel, meaning that you had a fantastic view of the beach and sea from the breakfast seating area and pool. The bathroom has been recently updated as was lovely (the shower was a waterfall shower and very powerful). Should we go back to Santorini, we most certainly would go back to The Boathouse.

The mattresses although good quality, were too firm for me (personal preference), The planes did impact on our sleep and did take nearly till the end of our stay to tune them out at night and early morning. Also they do fly over during the day, which does impede your chill time.

A fantastic experience in a beautiful authentic hotel

The breakfast was outstanding. A great choice of items. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed with how they coped on our last day when there had been a tremendous thunderstorm and heavy rain. We had an early departure but they made every effort to clean up from the aftermath of the thunderstorm to make sure that we had some breakfast. This is a family run hotel which is located conveniently along the main strip of restaurants overlooking Kamari beach. A large swimming pool, bar for evening drinks, and a very friendly and informative bartender - the son of the owners.

I can't think of anything that could have been better.

Excellent!

The staff were lovely and so accommodating. The location was right on the beach and lots of restaurants on the doorstep. Thira and oia are about 20 mins drive away, but the hotel helped us rent an ATV for the day and we explored ourselves. Would definitely recommend the boathouse!

Boathouse Santorini

The rooms were great and staff so helpful and accommodating. Beach towels supplied and you only had to ask if you needed anything. Breakfast was the best, yoghurt, fruit, sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, nothing was too much bother. Nice bar by the pool and just across from the beach and close to restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Very good value for money, location is really nice. Out of Santorini beaches probably the Kamari beach is among the best. Breakfast options are delicious, personalized to customer preferences (based on some standard options). The staff is helpful and polite. Great place for plane spotting! Close to beach and many nice restaurants.

A minor thing, the furniture (at least in our room) seemed a bit outdated. One point worth mentioning, due to airport closeness (below the landing path), it tends to be a bit noisy. However during the night no planes are landing (up until 6 or 7-ish AM).
