Sauberes Hostel an guter ruhiger Lage, schnell zu Fuss am Strand.

Wir hatten das Doppelzimmer. Sehr saubere und grosse Räume.

1 worrd will do--great

3rd time ive stayed here--praise given where due--most of myhigh marks are due down to the cleaning lady Alesandra--bloody hatd working --changing beds cleaning the facilities mopping the floors with brisk efficency

3 drunken poles but at least front desk refused them an extension due to thier obnoxious behaviour

Great hostel

Very clean with lockers under bed to keep everything safe and is really good because it keeps the room tidy and not stuff everywhere. The location is great because right by the shops and nightlife. (Can't hear music when in hostel)

The thing I didn't like is that on the balcony the floor has gaps in between each decking and my vape dropped down there. Would be great if they had a hot tube.

Excellent

I loved the location and the look of the whole hostel. Good environment and beautiful decoration. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything I needed, not too spacious tho. The terrace had a good space. The shared toilet at the entrance looked very good. The ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

I would say the bathroom in my room. The sink area was very tight against the toilet wall. There are no hangers inside the shower or any place to put toiletries. I managed to put my stuff somehow but it could easily be improved.

Super central & social!

The location could not have been better; totally central and right by lots of shops, cafes and restaurants - as well as numerous ATMs. Less than 5min walk down to the gorgeous beach as well. The dorm I stayed in had it’s own shower and toilets for the guests in that room which was nice, as most hostels I’ve stayed in have one large communal shower area. I liked that privacy element. Great equipped kitchen and eating space, but my favourite part was the terrace! A sun spot during the day and then the perfect place to hang in the evening before heading out. I met the most amazing group of people at Son of a Beach and we’re already planning our next group trip! Defo recommend for the vibes.

Really nice terrace, great kitchen facilities (including an oven), and the location is amazing! 2 min walk to old town, supermarket 1 min walk and the beach about a 5 minute walk!

Good location, but noisy and with almost no privacy

Very good communication, location, and check-in/check-out.

Noise from people entering and leaving the room, no door key card, everyone can enter the room, no curtains for the bed (thus no privacy). Mixed showers, I could see the girl taking a shower next to me through the almost transparent glass, and she probably could see me too 😅. It's not a big problem for me but could be uncomfortable, especially for girls.

Nice stay

Had quite a nice stay at the hostel. The dorm is OK, the kitchen was very well-equipped, terrace was nice and beds comfortable. Be aware to bring earplugs for the night because it is quite loud outside during the night. So, if your room is directed to the street, you will hear all the sounds of the street.

There is 1 girls bathroom for 2 girls dorms.

Clean and comfy but noisy.

It was close to the beach and other city attractions. It was very clean, beds were comfy.

Whilst location is great, there was a lot of noise after midnight, both on the open terrace and on the street below.

The people managing the place are all super nice. They go out of the way and go the extra mile to make your stay more comfortable.

A washing machine & dryer would have been nice to have.

Nice Hostel

The female dorm was nice, sheets and towel included. Check in was very easy and it is possible to leave the backpacks before check in time. They really make sure, that just people from the hostel can enter :) they offer many daytrips to explore the area

The room has a very small window so sometimes it felt like very little fresh air. But since the rooms wasn’t fully booked, it was still okay. and it can be a little noisy, since it is in the old town and many restaurants and bars are close by.

Superb

Very good location - it’s a 3 min walk to the beach! The hostel was pretty clean, every day like clock work they were disinfecting the bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped for all your needs (just a little narrow). You can tell the whole place is relatively new or has just been updated.

The mattresses are HARD. If you wake up in the night it will be hard to fall back asleep because you notice in how much pain you are lol. I would have appreciated a curtain or privacy panel on the beds.

The bedroom was big and the bathroom as well, looked really new, the bed was super soft, had a really good night sleep. its located in the center of the town, really near the ocean.

Too many english tourists in this city, really drunk and annoying tourists...

Badly in need of maintenance

Close to the beach, good atmosphere

The cleaning was lackluster, and the place is in serious need of maintenance. The kitchen table's surfaces is worn out. The shower was clogged and not repaired during the week I was there. The wall is moldy due to condensation leaking from the AC. The handle on my locker was broken off.

Supernice hostel but rude staff

Very nice hostel, amazing shower, the best I had in forever, also met nice people, very clean, you get a towel to shower

the people working there were not very helpful they wanted to sell us their very expensive trips and told wrong information (for example that the boat from this trip is the only one going to the cave - which is just not true) also they were very unfriendly sometimes

Great but mold smelling room

The location is great. Right in the center and yet quiet and calm during evenings. The room itself was nice - new and clean. There is free public parking nearby - there were free parking spaces all the time.

The room smelled like mold a lot...really a lot. Like an old church or aomething. There was only a small window that opens partially(scisors like) so ventilation is also bad. The staff should really do something about this room and the way it smells. I think rhis ia the only smelly room because it was on the lowest level of the hostel. The room name is Vitamin Sea. The other thing I did not like were the paper bracelets we were asked to wear. It is really annoying to wear such kind of bracelets when you are goung to the beach, swim in the ocean, etc. I would recommend replacing them with removable ones or figure out another way to control who enters the property.
