Great house for large groups
Alvey House is in a good central Highlands location. Large home with 2 new very modern kitchens and still keeps it's older charm in the other common rooms. It has all the amenities you need from laundry to wi-fi. It is ready for an update on most bedrooms and some bathrooms. Home is on a large parcel with nice yard and gardens and a lovely view also plenty of parking. The quaint town of Newtonmore was small enough to be walkable but had all the amenities you needed, restaurants, grocery, petrol, train station and bus stop. Our group of 18 enjoyed our stay very much and the hospitality of the owner and caretaker.
