About this villa rental
Nestled in mature olive groves above Avlaki Bay, with wonderful views over the headlands of north east Corfu, Villa Aurora provides the perfect setting for a relaxing family holiday.
Set in an acre of grounds, Aurora offers exclusivity and seclusion, yet all essential holiday amenities are close by. Avlaki beach, with its crystal-clear waters and two excellent tavernas, is a short walk down a track that winds through the olive groves to the beach. The waters edge tavernas of Agios Stefanos and the bustling harbour of Kassiopi are only a few minutes’ drive.
The villa’s many communal and private spaces make it ideal for families holidaying together. We are very pleased to have many regular guests, who book from one year to the next, and have written some generous reviews "more of a holiday home rather than a holiday let".
Aurora provides spacious and well-appointed accommodation. There are two double and two twin bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning, and have vaulted ceilings and ample storage facilities. French doors from the bedrooms lead onto a balcony that runs the entire length of the villa, providing wonderful views of the Corfu Channel and Albanian mountains. The master bedroom has space for a cot and a futon for younger children, enabling the villa to accommodate 8 adults and 2 young children.
Downstairs, the contemporary furnished open plan living space includes a fully equipped kitchen with island breakfast bar. French doors lead to an outdoor veranda with comfortable seating and dining areas. Retractable insect screens have recently been installed to this area to create an outdoor space in which to eat, drink and relax, free of uninvited flying guests - extremely useful in the summer months.
The swimming pool measures 10m x 5m with a depth from 0.5m to 1.9m, and is surrounded by a generous patio. Access to the pool can be restricted via a gate at the top of the steps leading from the veranda to the pool. In the early and late seasons, an air source heat pump takes the chill off the pool water, raising it to a few degrees higher than it would otherwise be.
Our ever helpful and fully bilingual property manager, Natushka provides a meet and greet service together with a complimentary welcome pack containing essentials. She and her husband Yianni are available throughout your holiday, to assist with any problems that might arise during your stay. The villa is serviced twice weekly; bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided.
Kitchen facilities include electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge and filter coffee maker. A separate snug room includes a smart TV enabling you to enjoy your favourite subscription channels whilst away on holiday. The dining room, with its circular marble table, is perfect for cooler evenings or late night card games. There is a ground floor toilet / cloakroom and a utility room with washing machine.
Majestic olive trees line the entrance to the grounds surrounding the villa. The gardens bordering the house and pool host a wide variety or Mediterranean plants. The poolside patio has sun beds and a large umbrella providing shade from the midday sun. A pergola, set slightly above the pool area, provides a quiet space if you need a bit of 'me time'. There is a BBQ to prepare a sumptuous supper and a table tennis table to work it off the following day.
The area is well served by excellent tavernas serving delicious, freshly cooked local dishes. Cavo Barbaro and Taverna Avlaki are just a 700m walk down an old olive grove track to Avlaki Bay, where you can dine overlooking the sea. There are water's edge tavernas in Agios Stefanos, (Eucalyptus, Kaparelli, Galini and Kochili) and many more tavernas and bars in Kassiopi (Tavernaki, Petrino, Little Italy, Vasilikos pizzeria, Wave Bar and Harbour Bar). Alternatively take a water taxi from Agios Stefanos to Taverna Agni for a memorable evening. Local supermarkets are a five minute's drive - Yannis Market in Sinies provides online shopping and will deliver to the, villa.
Hiring a motor boat is a fun way to explore the idyllic coves that are the signature of North East Corfu’s beauty, made famous by Gerald Durrell's books. Stop for a swim off the beautiful beaches of the Erimitis headland, then head down to Kalami, Agni or Nissaki for lunch. Kerasia beach, possibly the most beautiful beach in Corfu, is reached via Agios Stefanos where there is a casual bar and taverna, enabling you to spend the whole day there. Agios Spyridon, a slowly shelving sandy beach ideal for children, is only a short drive along the North coast. Look out for the 'Ice Dream' parlour just before the turn, a must for the return journey! Most beaches have paddleboards or kayaks available for hire. Aqualand, a water theme park in the centre of the island, is a great day out for children and adults alike.
Although all amenities are close by, car hire is strongly recommended to get the most from your holiday. Most international firms are represented at Corfu Airport and the drive to the villa along the coast road takes about one hour. Alternatively, we can arrange a transfer by taxi to the villa (approximately €80) where a local firm will be pleased to deliver your hire car.
During the month of June, July and August, our preferred changeover date is Saturday, and we can normally only let the villa for multiples of seven days. In May, September and October, there is greater flexibility on changeover days and the length of the holiday period and we may be able to offer discounts to smaller parties who prefer the space and amenities of a larger villa. Please message us for with your specific requirements.
Corfu is well served by flights from a wide range of UK airports. There are many friendly boutique hotels in Corfu that provide an ideal way to extend your holiday by a day or two in order to appreciate the beautiful UNESCO world heritage old town, or to match the sometimes rather demanding flight schedules. Try Hotel Bella Venezia, Siorra Vittoria or Cavalieri Hotel.

As good as it looks and as all the reviews describe!
This was an attractive, spacious, comfortable and practical home in a wonderful location. We loved the views. The villa worked very well for us as grandparents, son, daughter and spouses with a toddler and 3 year old grandsons. It was safe for the children, and very well equipped for them and the adults. It was great not having to bring swimming towels in our luggage because they are provided.
We had perfect weather with warm sunbathing sun every day and cooler evenings. We used the BBQ one evening and ate a main meal out on the other days.
The pool is a good size, beautifully clean and looked fabulous lit up at night.
We enjoyed all the beaches we went to. For the children we visited the sandy beaches of Agios Spyridon and Kalamaki which both had plenty of shallows for them to play in. We also enjoyed Avlaki, Kouloura and Karasia beaches. At Avlaki we had fun using the villa’s kayak which is housed at the sailing school. We also drove up to Old Perithia enjoying the stunning views en route.
Every meal out locally was good - we most enjoyed Cavo Barbaro at Avlaki and the delightful fish taverna at Kouloura that we remembered from our previous visit to the area.
For shopping - we bought bread from the Sinies traditional baker and amazing baklava from the patisserie there before it closed at the end of the season. The supermarket there was pricey so we largely used Nicos on the main road near Kassiopi which makes their own excellent tzaziki. Generally we found food to be costly compared with the UK.
Hopefully we’ll be back soon for another very relaxing holiday

Fabulous family holiday
We booked the villa for a special family holiday and had a really wonderful time. The villa is beautifully laid out, extremely clean and worked really well for a family with adult 'children' as each of the rooms had its own bathroom/toilet. The location is wonderful and we enjoyed our walk down the track to Avlaki beach. Agios Stefanos is a short car journey away so eating out in the evenings was easy although we had a couple of evenings in, making use of the barbecue. The swimming pool and table tennis meant that we had plenty to do at the villa but we also hired a boat on two days and went snorkelling. A cleaner came in twice a week which was a real luxury so we came back from a day out to find the place looking immaculate and beds all beautifully made. We really enjoyed Galini restaurant in Saint Stephanos and going down to the bar at Avlaki for a drink in the evenings. I would definitely recommend the villa to friends and family.

Beautiful Property, beautiful area!
Villa Aurora was fantastic. Once we arrived (came up the wrong track to the house!...oops, very bumpy ride, but that was totally our fault for letting the sat nav take us that way!......) Should have kept to the brilliant directions given by Charles!..... Once we arrived and greeted by the lovely Yannis, we were all so pleased with the lovely Villa. It was so clean and welcoming, and the most amazing views across to Albania, we knew we were in for a wonderful week. The kids spent most of their time in the swimming pool, and Adults, a lot of time reading on the balcony. There is plenty of places to find a quite spot, and just relax. When the kids weren't in the pool they were in their own little cinema room, watching movies. We ate out quite a lot, and loved the 2 restaurants in Avlaki Bay, and surrounding areas. the food from the supermarkets is incredibly expensive, so definitely worth a small detour to one of the larger supermarkets before arrival...... All in all we would definitely recommend the Villa, its in such a beautiful spot, and the easy access to what we think is the most beautiful part of Corfu.

Villa Aurora ticks all the boxes...
We have recently returned from 3 fantastic weeks at Villa Aurora. This is the third year running we have booked this villa despite never returning to the same property for any other holiday over the last 20+ years.
Next year, due to a family commitment, we cannot return to Villa Aurora. As we sat in the property towards the end of our holiday considering options, we concluded that the reason we love this villa so much is because it ticks all the boxes on our holiday wish list. Why would you go anyway else and leave this to chance?
The house is spotlessly clean, has great facilities including an excellent pool, well equipped kitchen and a high standard of furnishings throughout. The outdoor space is excellent with plenty of places in the shade or sun to relax or enjoy the truly spectacular view.
Location is also high on our list of needs and in our view, you just cannot beat this area of Corfu with great beaches nearby, a huge selection of restaurants, fabulous scenery and plenty to do. This time we went on a day trip to Paxos (a ferry and a hire car rather than a tourist boat!), hired a boat for a day, used the kayak that belongs to the Villa and went to Corfu Town. All of which left us with great memories of our trip.
Finally, Charles has been a pleasure to deal with over the last four years. Nothing is too much trouble and he is always available to answer any questions that we have had. If the owner cares about the quality of your holiday as much as you do then you are very likely to have a good time.
We will miss Villa Aurora next year but for others considering filling our place, this property comes with our highest recommendation. Enjoy!

P.S. Our suggestion last year for the addition of a drinks fridge was delivered this year so if you are hot and thirsty, this is also now fully covered!

Fantastic - stop hesitating and book it now!
We stayed in Villa Aurora last year for the first time and booked it again for 2018 as soon as we got home. It is the perfect home from home: wonderfully equipped, lovely comfortable beds, just the right amount of space inside and outside, the aircon works perfectly, and very thorough cleaners come three times a week. And the views are incredible! If you ever want to leave the villa it is just a ten minutes into Kassiopi; Yannis' supermarket a few minutes away puts Waitrose to shame, and there are loads of good restaurants within 5-10 mins drive (our favourites are Taverna Avlaki on Avlaki beach, 10 mins walk from the villa; Petrino in Kassiopi; and Eucalyptus at San Stephano.) We hired a boat one day - from San Stephano - better apparently than Kassiopi as it can get quite choppy there in the afternoons when you're bringing the boat back - and had a fantastic lunch t Toula's in Agni. I cannot recommend Villa Aurora highly enough - honestly, save yourself another few hours of trawling the internet and just book it! The owner, Charles, is really helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Stunning villa in amazing location
We had a fantastic 3 week stay in this villa and are already planning our next visit. I cannot recommend more highly.
Our grown up children joined us with our grandchildren and this house suited us all perfectly. Every home comfort is provided and cleaners come 3 times a week so its spotless. Cots and highchairs are available and there are stairgates too. Any queries were swiftly answered by the charming manager of the villa.
We got into a routine of going down to Avlaki beach each morning and swimming in the crystal clear waters. Sometimes we walked down through the olive groves and other times we were very lazy and drove down! There's a great place on Avlaki bay to hire kayaks, stand up paddle boards and sailing dinghies for when we felt a bit more energetic. We'd then have coffee and ice creams at Cava Barbaro - the very lovely restaurant on the bay.
Afternoons were spent around the beautiful pool - there's masses of space by the pool and plenty of shade if you want it. Evenings we sometimes ventured out to Kassiopi, San Stephanos or my particular favourite Kerasia. The latter has just one taverna and a bar - I'd swim in the sea while my husband contemplated the view over an ouzo.
One highlight of our holiday was when we hired a boat from San Stephanos and motored down to Agni for lunch at Taverna Agni.
Most of the time though I was content to sit and wonder at the amazing view down to Avlaki bay and across to Albania. My husband and I could sit in bed in the morning with our cup of tea and gaze across to Albania! Our children said that the villa was even better than the pictures.

Perfect villa in a stunning location
We so enjoyed our stay at Aurora during a wonderfully sunny week in May, we are all talking about when to return! It was our first visit to Corfu and we loved it. The villa worked perfectly for 2 couples and 3 young children. It was really well equipped and spotlessly clean, good showers, well organised kitchen with ample crockery, fridge space, sharp knives, pots and pans etc. Very comfortable beds and effective and welcome a/c in the bedrooms. Good showers with plentiful hot water.
Great covered seating area outdoors with stunning views across green hillsides, the sea and onto to the mountains of the Albanian coastline. Plenty of boat activity to watch with the thoughtfully supplied binoculars. An easy to use charcoal BBQ looked after us in the evenings.
The surrounding area is charming and very picturesque, friendly and safe. Lots of fantastic beaches to explore and enjoy safe sea swimming. The villa is a very manageable drive from Corfu airport, the directions provided by Charles were spot on. We found the local supermarket a touch pricey, preferring Nikos supermarket on the road to Kasiopi and the supermarket in Kasiopi itself.
We enjoyed hiring a boat from nearby Kasiopi and exploring the coastline, lazy lunches in the highly recommended taverna on Avlaki beach and an exhilarating and very twisty drive up Mt. Pandokrater for amazing views. Lots of swimming in the pristine and warm pool and relaxing poolside.
In summary, the villa and location are perfect and Charles and his team could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

Spacious and beautiful Villa
A stunning villa with a lovely walk down to Agni Bay through the olive groves. We especially loved the incredible views from the pool and the terrace was a favourite supper and breakfast spot. Charles and his team are all extremely helpful, the cleaner was excellent and our two families of 5 never felt on top of each other. A great stay!

Wonderful Birthday celebrations
We had an amazing week in this superb villa nestled amongest the olive trees in North East Corfu, we were staying in Aurora for my birthday celebrations with our grown up family. It totally surpassed all our expectations, the views were incredible and the outside living space and area around the swimming pool made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy each others company. The table tennis table was a lovely added extra for our sons in their twenties.
Personally the kitchen was a hit with me I don't think we have ever had such a well equipped kitchen in a rental villa. Our children said it was one of the most relaxing holidays we have been on and we will definately be coming back.

Wonderful property: a perfect home from home
We had a brilliant two weeks in this lovely property - we had high hopes from the photos and description, and it surpassed them. Everything is of really good quality: the kitchen is brilliantly equipped, with high quality fridge, oven, cutlery and crockery, sharp knives etc (so easy and obvious to provide but so often missing from holiday rental properties) and everything else you would expect. The bedrooms were lovely, and the showers had great water pressure. And the air-conditioning worked perfectly throughout. The pool and the area around it was brilliant; and the outdoor eating and lounging space was ideal for the eight of us (2 adults and 6 late teens). Everything is all beautifully maintained - we didn't realise that a cleaner came three times a week, which was a real treat, and a gardener/pool man came regularly too. The villa is in a great location: beautiful views, 10 min walk (steep downhill - so uphill on the way back) to Avlaki beach, with a couple of nice restaurants; under 10 mins drive into Kassiopi, with more restaurants, boat hire and the usual tourist shops; and only a few mins drive to Yannis supermarket, the best stocked supermarket I've ever come across! He'll deliver food to your villa so that it's there on arrival, which is lovely after a long flight: and you can order kebabs, butterflied lamb etc for the BBQ in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. All in all I cannot recommend this lovely property highly enough - it is every bit as good as it looks, and Charles is a pleasure to deal with. We have already booked for next year. The weather in mid July, just in case you want to know: 12 days of blue skies and sunshine, temp between 31 and 35 degrees; two consecutive days rather overcast.

Spring at Villa Aurora, Avlaki
Perfect setting amongst the olive groves, with beautiful views of sea and distant mountains from the terraces and especially the pool. The surroundings - the harbour at Kassiopi, tavernas at San Stefanos, shops, bars and atmosphere of Corfu town - provide lots to do, but the villa is a great base and so relaxing it's tempting to just chill. Favourite place was Avlaki Bay .. a short stroll through olive groves down to a perfectly blue sea, and the best taverna of the lot!
Gorgeous villa, great holiday!

Stunning villa in secluded spot with outstanding views
We had an absolutely perfect holiday in this beautiful villa. The villa more than lives up to the photographs.
Ages ranged from a 1 year old to late 60's and each and every one of us enjoyed every moment of our time at Villa Aurora. The house is beautifully equipped and very comfortable. The pool was large enough for us all to enjoy ourselves and have a proper swim as well.
Not only is the villa excellent but we loved the local area. The nearest supermarket is very well stocked (and Yianni is very friendly) - in addition if you want any fish or meat you have only to ask and they will get in the same day. They got us sardines and swordfish - much easier than going to the fish shop in Kassiopi and you're guaranteed to get what you want.
We went to the beaches at Agni and San Stephanos but our favourite was Kerasia.
Our favourite taverna was Cabo Barbarosa at Agni - the food is superb. We hope to return to the villa next year.

Just as good as the first time!
It really is like coming back home. The villa is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. The gardens are gorgeous, well maintained and so secluded and private. Well positioned for visiting San Sephanos, Kassiopi, Kalami and Agni Bay. Charles is very friendly, helpful and efficient. You won't be disappointed. Already booking for next year!

Excellent location and wonderful views.
We agree with everything stated in previous reviews and although our stay was only one week, our three generation family had a wonderful, relaxing and memorable time.
Villa Aurora is set in a very scenic and tranquil location and has stunning views. You will need a car, but there are no precarious roads to negotiate and it is an easy, short drive to the picturesque coves of Agios Stefanos, Kalami, Kouloura, Agni and the local town of Kassiopi.
Our favourite haunt was Agios Stefanos - just a few minutes drive away. We ate here most evenings as the friendly waterside tavernas were excellent and the setting picture perfect. We also hired a boat for the day and enjoyed swimming in secluded coves and stopping for lunch at Agni Bay. A fabulous day out and well recommended.
The Villa itself is very spacious, of a high standard and extremely comfortable, clean, homely and well managed. Just as the photos and description on Villa Aurora's website. We particularly liked the many outside seating areas and the lovely large contemporary kitchen that was a pleasure to use and had every modern convenience.
Booking and communication with Charles was quick, friendly and efficient and I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Aurora to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful area of Corfu.
Thank you Charles for a great holiday - we hope to return.

Villa Aurora - Already re-booked!
We had a fantastic two week holiday in Villa Aurora. The villa quickly felt like home and more than exceeded our expectations.
It would have been easy to spend the whole holiday at the villa enjoying the excellent pool, the superb views and the comfortable seating areas. The property is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for a relaxing break.
We did venture out but with so much within a few miles of the villa, you do not need to go far. This part of Corfu is stunning so there are many great beaches to enjoy. This includes Avlaki, which is a short walk from the villa. Aside from the beaches, we enjoyed good food in the local Tavernas. Hiring a boat is also recommend.
As we approached the end of our holiday, the decision was made. We have already booked for next year and this decision tells you all you need to know about our impression of Villa Aurora!

Villa Aurora Avlaki Bay Corfu
We had a wonderful three generation family holiday at Villa Aurora in June/July this year. The villa is very well appointed and everything has been provided to make it home from home and the views are amazing! It is spotlessly clean and very well managed.
We asked if a gate could be provided to prevent our granddaughter (14months old) from making her way to the pool unaccompanied, Charles had a metal gate made (to match the railings) for the top of the steps, which also provided a very secure area on the terrace. We were delighted at this attention to our requirements which provided peace of mind for us all. We felt the villa was safe for our granddaughter, being able to lock the gate prevented this little person from accessing the pool.
Avlaki and the surrounding areas in North East Corfu have many stunning unspoilt bays and beautiful views, we found plenty to do during our enjoyable holiday including renting a boat at Agios Stephanos and a trip to Corfu Town. There are many quality tavernas within 10-15 minutes drive from the villa, all in all a perfect holiday destination.

A beautiful property
A very large and beautiful property where our 2 families enjoyed a weeks holiday at the end of July. The house is well cared for and of an extremely high standard with regard to amenities and decor. The location is peaceful and scenic and is accessible to a number of coves / tavernas along the coastline. A car is required in order to appreciate the full beauty of this area. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the villa lived up to expectations from previous reviews. We would love to return in the future . The Wilsons / Smiths

Villa Aurora triumphs again!
This was our second visit to Villa Aurora and having had such a great time last year I thought it would be hard to beat it but soon after arriving we noticed a great addition - a gate at the top of the steps leading to the pool. The children's ages ranged from 3 months to almost 3 and they obviously needed constant monitoring but having the gate allowed us to be much more relaxed about pool access than last year as well as providing greater safety. The children were more aware this year and really enjoyed the pool and surroundings. Happy children meant happy parents and grandparents so all in all everyone had a really great time - again!. Regarding the villa itself the high standards of last year had been maintained and the new fans in the terrace area really cooled the air during our meals - another welcome difference. If you are looking for a villa that is furnished like a home and feels like one then look no further. The temptation is to stay in the villa, enjoy the privacy of the surroundings and spend a lot of time in the pool but there are lots of good restaurants in Kassiopi and St Stephanos and Avlaki beach is a short walk - downhill through the olive grove. Thank you Natushka and Yiannis for looking after us so well. Villa Aurora is top of our list for European "down time".

Stunning
What a wonderful place. We were two families travelling together, 4 adults and 4 children (6, 6, 6 and 9 years) for the first time and Villa Aurora suited us perfectly. A large, clean, beautifully designed Villa with everything you could need including the most spectacular views. We all enjoyed the pool, the children especially, and travelling around the northern part of the Island. Charles has been very friendly and easy to contact, so many thanks to him for that. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Aurora. The Villa was just as the photos and description on the website, the view and peaceful location exceeded our expectations. Nearby Avlaki beach and the two tavernas help make this a perfect location. Everyone staying with us remarked how good it was to have a villa that is a perfect home rather than somewhere that is is just a holiday let with fittings etc. that are often not the best. Thoroughly recommended, we hope to return.

If you are looking for wonderful views and a quiet location then look no further. Villa Aurora lived up to all of our expectations. We were two families on a holiday together and we all had a great time. The children were not out of the pool and there was plenty of outside and inside space to feel you were not on top of each other. A good idea was the television room so the children could escape from the heat of the sun. We had good weather even a couple of thunder storms on a few of the nights couldn't dampen our spirits!
We loved Agios Stephanos and the boat ride to Taverna Agni was a highlight. The villa was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend to family and friends, a fab holiday was had by all!!

Villa Aurora is stunning. In a very pretty location. Beautifully appointed with a wonderful pool and views. Natushka and Yiannis were very helpful and the house is cleaned well. We loved Agios Stefanos- really Greek with great restaurants and very friendly people.

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Aurora. As one of our party put it - they had a "phenomenal time". I recommend this villa as everything you could wish for in a villa holiday and it is suitable for all ages. We ranged from 18 months to mid-sixties with young people in between. It is rare that a holiday venue suits all but on this occasion everybody had a good time. We arrived with high expectations from the photographs and previous reviews and our expectations were surpassed with regard to: view, surroundings, rooms, cleanliness, pool, seclusion, facilities, spaces. There is a great team looking after the villa, led by Natushka, and nothing is any trouble. I would stress that it is definitely a good idea to have a car as whilst the beach at Avlaki is well within reach on foot it is too far to walk to the supermarket in the heat that we experienced in July. I am aware that this is rather a glowing review but I speak as we found - it's great and we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be booking again.

This was our second holiday in Corfu, and having rented a larger villa above Avlaki the previous time, we knew why we wanted to return.
The other reviews are quite right about the great location, the stunning views, the garden, pool and all the facilities. As well as these we particularly appreciated how well designed the villa is, with the different areas to sit and relax. Whether inside or outside - in the shade, or in the sun, or in groups or alone, there is so much flexibility and choice. This is perfect for a large family, or two smaller families.
Aurora is modern, clean, well equipped, and well maintained. The service received from the maids (who visit 3 times a week) and the manager, Natushka, is excellent.
We were delighted with our choice and could not recommend Charles and Elspeth's superb villa more highly.

Villa Aurora is the eighth villa we have rented in Corfu in as many years-three of which are in the Agios Stefanos area & I have to say it's one of the best due to its location, specification, views, peace & tranquillity the villa & its surroundings provide. We also wished for nothing over & above what Charles & Elspeth provide in the package/villa.
The villa itself is situated in a sprawling mature olive grove at the end of a long driveway with an access gate-which for me adds to the excitement upon your arrival at the perfect holiday retreat.
As the villa has numerous terraces as well as the pool area, there is enough space to enjoy that little piece of 'me time' away from the 'wonderful' family & friends if you so desire. In our case there was just the two of us & I still required that little piece of 'me time'!
The villa is also situated in close proximity to some of Corfu's most picturesque coastline & their restaurants & taverna's which provide some truly relaxing, romantic days & evenings complemented by the fabulous food they offer.
Another one of the other positives I enjoyed about Villa Aurora is its well thought out & designed garden areas, as it has a wonderful array of flora and fauna which attracts some truly beautiful butterflies which Corfu is renowned for thanks to Gerald Durrell & his love of the Corfiot wildlife. Even the garden, villa & pool night lighting takes you into another wonderful world that makes Corfu so special. We also viewed a Pine Marten drinking from the poolside late one evening which apparently is quite a rarity. Although he was very timid & didn't stay around for long, he/she just added to our fabulous time spent at Villa Aurora.
So thanks again to Charles & Elspeth for affording us another wonderful villa holiday in Corfu.
Kind regards.

A real home away from home! An impressive villa, fully equipped, with stunning views and excellent pool! Spotlessly clean, everything worked! Photos truly do not do the villa justice. The whole family relaxed in the pool and enjoyed a stroll to Avlaki Beach for a swim followed by a drink at the Tavernas!
Gorgeous kassiopi, and Agios Stephanos a short drive away. A perfect break!

This is a lovely villa in an area of very pretty coastline, which we took full advantage of by very easily hiring a small motorboat. The villa is spacious and very well equipped (including Tupperware which was very good for the cold box which came with the boat) and in a very quiet location. There are also many different beaches to choose from in the area and would definitely recommend

Villa Aurora is lovely- the owners have thought of everything and all works perfectly. The views are breathtaking and the pool fabulous. It is well located up the hill - just right for an early morning run, or stroll, down to swim in the beautiful blue sea. There are lots of lovely restaurants just a short drive away and it was fun taking a boat out or having a restful day at the villa.

I chose this villa for a special family holiday and that meant making sure there would be enough space for a family of seven adults. The description, location and photographs on the website were attractive and seemed to fit our requirements. In reality, the villa is stunning inside and out. The photos don't do it justice. I walked around speechless for the first 15 minutes taking in all the features. My family still can't believe we lived in such understated luxury. The furnishings create a homely atmosphere and everyone gets a quality bedroom. Outside, the private pool is wonderful, as are the grounds. We loved the balcony dining area where we spent most evenings. The level of privacy is perfect, and I can't imagine tiring of the open views across the strait to Albania.
The design and layout of the house is superb, and there is so much space we couldn't use it all. My youngest daughter only discovered there was a dining room half way through the week! A maid came to clean three times and the pool was cleaned at least twice. We felt spoiled and none of us wanted to leave. There was everything we could have hoped for and more.
For anyone planning on staying here, a car is essential for getting to the local shops, restaurants and beaches as the villa is situated in a secluded location at the bottom of a steep unmade track.
Avlaki riding school was brilliant and the owner Alison whom is English took the girls on a good cross country trek. Another fun and inexpensive way to explore the locality is to hire a quad bike, moped or buggy locally. We also hired a boat from Giannis at Agios Stefanos bay and spent a superb day snorkelling and exploring coves along the coast. Here there are also several seafront restaurants where you can sit at the water?s edge with views across the cove. Service was excellent and prices reasonable, certainly when compared with UK. The nearest mini-supermarket is a 5 minute drive away, and has a good deli counter with home-made produce, and a bakery round the back.
All in all, a great week made very special by your lovely villa. We will recommend you and would love the opportunity to return.

We enjoyed an absolutely fabulous week at this villa. The property met or exceeded all our expectations. Particularly good was the attention to detail and the small touches which made it deal very homely and welcoming. The villa makes very good use of space, particularly outside, and would be well suited to larger groups than we had with us. Also, it was very clean on arrival and well maintained throughout, plus everyone who visited including the pool man and the cleaners were very friendly and reliable.
We really enjoyed the area - so beautiful, peaceful and friendly. Our favourite beach was Kerasia (Agni was also nice) and there are lovely tavernas at Agios Stefanos (particularly Eucalyptus) and Avlaki. The local restaurant in Sinies (Tavernaki) was excellent for home cooked food and very reasonable. Would recommend Trilogia in Kassiopi for a special meal and amazing views of the sunset.
If you get the chance visit the abandoned village at Palaio Peritheia, and further afield the monastery at Palaiokastritska (plus the views over the bays up the hill as Lakones) and the ruined fort at Angelokastro. Worth a day trip. We really did not have time to explore as much as we wanted to, so I hope that we can make a return visit soon!
No complaints on the owners information, which was spot on, and whose help was much appreciated.
Highly recommended.
