The property is quite old & very outdated but has a charm. It advertises sleeps 6 but unless they were 6 very small people, not happening. The 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds, one of which has a lumpy tilted mattress. Two people could not sleep in that bed. Living room furniture is very uncomfortable. TV has lots of streaming channels but could not find local channels.

The house location is perfect! Close to shops and restaurants and of course the beach . House had everything we could possibly need , tons of towels, pans, coffee maker etc . Only con the house could use a deep clean .

Very happy with our stay, had everything we needed and more. Close to downtown, yet far enough to not be real loud. Wanted a place for Mothers day weekend.

I gave it a 3 stars just for the location and ease of checking in and out. Just don't spend a lot of time on the house.
Cons: dirty sheets in one of the beds. Sand and animal hair all over bedding. I knew this was an animal friendly place, but I thought they would wash their bedding. Only one bathroom upstairs. It was fine. Shared back porch where the old washer and dryer was located. Other tenants in building was doing laundry the whole time. Furniture was very uncomfortable. Place was not cleaned very well. TV was older and shows looked grainy. Lots of ceramic cat decor in dining area. Place could be rearranged better and updated Furniture and decor.
Oh parking was great first night. But then others parked in spot since it was street parking. Other tenant kept car in driveway so blocked the back parking area. We found other street parking. It was just strange.

Nice location for sure I would stay there again

The place was pretty gross. I don’t think the cleaning people have ever used a mop and all the fans were disgusting and grody. The listing says use of firepit and laundry area but the regular renter on the backside and her yapping dogs don’t make that possible at all. The driveway parking was also not possible because the other renter took all the space. The screen door was broken. Definitely not worth the price we paid. This was our fourth summer in Seaside, next year we’ll stay at a hotel or pick a different beach town. Put a really bad taste in my mouth. I took pictures and plan to post them wherever I can.

Wonderful stay
House was in a great location, everything was clean. Staff was extremely kind and courteous. We had a wonderful stay for my sons 9th birthday. We will definitely come back again.

Parking issues no yard for pets
This was a good location however parking was a problem. Had a single driveway for two units so at times you would get blocked in and the street parking was not available at times. It’s a dog friendly property but no yard for them to go potty in very inconvenient. There were lots of pet stains on the carpets upstairs and the house needed cleaning . The kitchen fridge was spotless and so was the oven. The two beds upstairs in the guest room were terribly sunken in the middle. The main bedroom had a nice mattress. The trip consisted of one grandma, one daughter, one daughter in law and one granddaughter. This was the only available option on short notice and it was more about being together than this house. Next time I will stay in a dog friendly hotel on the beach as I usually do.

Super Cute Christmas Cottage!
We stayed here for Christmas, and had a great time! It was an easy walk to the beach, the prom, and restaurants. This was the first place we've stayed where we had to go to the office to get the key, which was fine, but other than that, we have no complaints! The place was more spacious downstairs than I had imagined it to be, but the kitchen was a little smaller than I had imagined - haha - we still had plenty of space though. We cooked Christmas dinner, and found everything we needed! The back deck is a little wobbly, and the stairs are steep so you'll hit your head if you are tall. The beds were comfortable, the linens were soft, the house was well stocked. I would recommend for a cheap place to stay with easy access. This is a better deal than a nearby hotel!! Overall 5 stars!!

Cozy Little House :)
The house is very cute and nicely located just a short walk from the beach and all the shops. The parking is very tight and can really only fit one car per unit. Also the washer and dryer are shared which shouldn’t be an issue unless your neighbors (like ours) leave their stuff spread all over and make it so you can’t do your laundry the whole week you are their (frustrating). The house was clean and the beds were super comfy but it is definitely a small space so just keep that in mind. I would say the unit fits 4 comfortably but would be a bit crowded with 6. Overall it was a nice stay!

While it is a great location, close to the beach, right in the downtown area, the duplex leaves a lot to be desired. We actually left a night early because of a few reasons. 1. Ants. All over the dining table. 2. The bed upstairs in the second bedroom was broken, causing my daughter to have to sleep at an angle and roll off. 3. Proximity to other guests. While I knew it was a duplex, I wasn’t prepared for how much you actually share with them. Not to mention the outdoor grill...which is next to the other duplex unit, and can’t be accessed while it is occupied. 4. Parking. If you bring two vehicles, and the other unit is occupied, you’ll be jockeying for space. 5. ADA. If you use a cane, walker, or are older, you won’t like the steep stairs that aren’t up to modern code. If you’re over 5’7”, you’ll have to duck to get up the stairs every time or bump your head on the ceiling. At summer rates, it just wasn’t worth it for us. We won’t be back.

I liked the house. The location is great! My only issue is the house wasn’t really clean when we arrived. There were cobwebs in several rooms, the microwave was dirty inside and had prints all outside. The cleaning could be a lot better. But the house is really adorable. Has everything that you could possibly need.

Great location, needs some decluttering
Overcrowded with cat decorations, no room to store food in the kitchen cabinets, comfortable seating for only 5 in the living room, location and staff were great.

Comfortable Stay
Our stay at this duplex was pleasant, although the other tenants were quite loud and did laundry all day and well into the night.
Beds were comfortable, very kid and pet friendly. Would stay again!

Small and cozy, perfect for a small family.
Great location, very central, short distance to just about everything. The house is very well appointed and warm and cozy, however, there are a couple of aspects that are left out in the description. Firstly this is not a stand alone house, it’s the street side unit of a duplex that has a shared laundry room (the clothes washer was broken for our visit but the machine had broken the day of our arrival so I’m willing to overlook this issue). Secondly, the two units both share one tandem driveway so that requires quite a bit of vehicle jockeying, that was the most annoying aspect to be honest. Other than that, this rental is very adorable, cozy and in a great location on a quiet one way street.

Good location in Seaside
The pros:
The location is great, and it's a very easy walk to the beach and prom, or the main shopping area around Broadway. It's pretty easy to spend a whole day in Seaside and not have to drive at all. The cottage is a good size for 4, having two bedrooms, but it seems like it would be tight for 6. Having said that, the two older boys liked getting their own full size beds.
Check-in and check-out was easy, and the property manager was quick to help when there was a problem with the wifi (which was easily resolved).
The cons:
I'd say the cottage was reasonably clean when we arrived, but not spotless. Certainly not a problem, but it would have been nice to arrive to it being really clean. As a pet-friendly unit, it did also smell a little "doggy" when we arrived, although this quickly dissipated as we opened up the windows. Although the location is very central in Seaside, and this is great, this unit is very close to the street, which isn't apparent from the photos. It's not a busy street, so there weren't any noise issues, but it was just a bit surprising when we arrived.
None of these were big concerns, and we would definitely recommend this property as a reasonably priced, centrally-located option in Seaside.

Perfect for families!
This is a wonderful little cottage. The building itself looks like its a townhouse. We are family of 6 and it was perfect for us. We even brought our 2 dogs with us. It has everything. And let me just say EVERYTHING! Chairs for the beach, a small weber propane portable bbq, bamboo mats, even a small cooler. The beds are very comfy none of us had any trouble sleeping. The stairs are pretty steep so i wouldnt recommend a stay for th elderly. There is a small yard area in the back where you can sit/walk your dogs. We didnt have to drive anywhere unless we needed the grocery store. Or going out of town. Prob 5 min walk to the beach and 3 minute walk to downtown shops. They have a great selection of kid movies and tons of games in the closet. The kitchen is fully equipped. Every utensil/dish/pan you could need is in there. Not mention your ziploc bags, saran wrap, foil.. we will definitely be back to this place. We absolutely love seaside on the 4th of july! Coming back every year! And hopefully talking friends and family into coming with us!

Great cottage like place in the heart of Seaside
We had such a wonderful time here! My husband and I and our 2 dogs were very comfortable and all of our needs were met. It is such a cute place! It is walking distance from anywhere in Seaside and only a couple blocks from the beach! Such fun to take the beach chairs some cheese and wine and go to the beach to watch the sunset. Come and go anytime during the day. Also 2 blocks from the main street and shopping restaurants. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.
