This was a great place to stay. Ideally located right by the harbour, the cottage contained everything we needed as a family including some really neat little touches to welcome us all - dog inckuded. - on arrival.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this as a place to stay and would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Seahouses.

We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to others wanting a central base for an active holiday.
The owner has created a lovely environment in which to relax, with a well-equipped kitchen, good water pressure in the 2 showers and quality comfy beds.
The cottage is a small terraced property seconds’ walk from the harbour and is well placed for watching the sunset, sunrise and going on walks. There are beaches within easy (but not level) walking distance.
Parking for one car is available in the central cobbled square to the rear of the group of cottages under a stone archway; I fitted with a bit of help with a Qashqai and a large roof box, but manouvering in the square was tricky due to others’ parking. It was easier to park down the side of a road marked private round the corner.
The property would benefit from blackout blinds as the sun rises very early in the summer so if you are not used to morning brightness then that could affect sleep quality.
Similarly, if you don’t like birds welcoming the dawn then give this property a miss! There were plenty of feathery visitors to watch and listen to, which we found delightful... especially the gull bashing a crab for breakfast on a rock that someone had painted with the word ‘hope’....
All in all, we had a great week here and I would recommend it highly.
