About this apartment rental
## THE ACCOMMODATION
Prime location
The Edvard is a large, luminous, 2-bedroom apartment located on the 2nd floor of a classic 18th century Bordeaux building halfway between the Jardin Public and the historic Chartrons district, renowned for its antique shops, boutiques and many lively restaurants.
The building is ideally located at the foot of the tram line and very close to the public transport hub of Place des Quinconces, for easy access to the entire Bordeaux metropolis. This ancient building does not have an elevator.
Inspiration
The large volumes of this apartment are highlighted by two major works by Edvard Munch, a Norwegian painter and engraver who spent several years in France and is today considered the pioneer of expressionism in modern painting. We have selected the paintings “The steam train” and “The sun” symbol of knowledge enlightening men.
Comfort, elegance and environmental consciousness
For the furniture and equipment, craftsmanship, French manufacturing and “upcycled” materials were favored and chosen to harmonize with the oldest elements of the apartment.
The main room has two sofas, television and TV box, a table that can accommodate up to 6 people.
Both bedrooms offer the comfort of a large Queen size bed and have plenty of storage space.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob, traditional combined oven and microwave. Toaster, kettle and coffee machine complete the numerous amenities at your disposal.
The bathroom has a shower, and a hair dryer.
A laundry area hidden in the large entrance closet is equipped with a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
Your personalized welcome will be provided by our concierge. A breakfast delivery service or additional cleaning services can also be arranged for a truly relaxing stay.
Strengths
- Large 75m2 apartment with two large bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen
- Central and convenient location
- Direct access by tram to the Matmut Atlantique stadium, the exhibition center and the entire Bordeaux metropolis
- Contemporary design in an old building with parquet floors.
- TV, internet, wifi.
## DEPOSIT
You will be asked to provide a bank guarantee of €500. In the form of a payment link and managed by the secure Swikly online service, it is compulsory and must be made before arrival in the accommodation.

## THE NEIGHBORHOOD
A chic, attractive and lively district with its elegant buildings, its magnificent Jardin Public and the proximity to historic buildings such as the Grand Théâtre or the Statue of Quinconces.
Only a few minutes from the famous Cours de l'Intendance, the Grand Triangle d'Or or the Sainte Catherine Street (the longest shopping street in Europe). You can stroll around these various historic sites, after shopping in the beautiful shops of the city center or having bought delicious canelés at the Marché des Grands Hommes. This neoclassical square is a reflection of the new vision of urbanism after the French Revolution. All places to meet for the high society of Bordeaux. A tradition that you will still notice at Brasserie Le Noailles. On the other side is the Town Hall (the impressive Rohan Palace), the Saint-André Cathedral and the Pey-Berland Tower, a belfry surmounted by a gilded bronze statue of the Lady of Aquitaine.

Little bit crowded, because public transport is under your window
3.6
Does not gave the public gardens but a busy main road.
Check in - penalised due to “ late arrival” not told when I booked.
No welcome pack, not even a little milk or a tea bag, little information - just an unfriendly start.
Harassed re check out time etc.

We had all we needed here. It was spacious, quiet, clean and peaceful. The process to check in and out were easy though we were charged a 10€ supplement for arriving at 8:30PM

Emplacement central (proche tram)
Confort

I recommend this to anyone that wants to stay in an above quality place for the money. Surrounded by many beautiful things to see and explore the other side of Bordeaux.
I would not hesitate to rent the place again. A special thanks to the team that made it possible for a nice stay.
Thank you and see you soon.

Chambre côté rue très brouillante. Meubles à rénover. Position top

We have found the property to be in prime location, and have all the potential, however it has been in a rather run-down state when we stayed there. It is in dire need of updates in the kitchen and the bathroom.
I would not stay there again before these updates are done.

The stay in this appartment was for us very confortable and nice. The location is very good, cause is near of the centre and the public transport is very near.
The appartment is beautiful and quiet.

Almost perfect, but at check-in there were some damages that had not been still repaired.
It was desirable keep the entry in better conditions. Is missed some hangers at the bathroom. It is not desirable keep some furniture in bad conditions ( 2deteriorated chairs almost broken) hanger in wardobe broken. Water tap at the bathroom that was loosed.

Bel appartement

Misleading pictures, badly deteriorated furniture, questionable cleanliness, noisy bedroom.
On the picture this two-bedroom appartement appeared as perfect. What a deception! The living room sofas were stained so we could not sit on them and we did not dare use the kitchen for fear of finding insects. The noise from the tram prevented us from sleeping at night. Only one of the two bedrooms was quiet. We did not manage to make the wifi work. The shower taps did not work properly so it was impossible to adjust the temperature. There was mould (moississure) surrounding the shower floor.
Fortunately Marc, the owner’ s representative who met us upon arrival and departure was very friendly however he did not have any control on the situation .
Overall a very disappointing stay at Sejourneur Verdun.
