Krásné ubytování na užasném místě s výhledem, velice milí a příjemní hostitelé, užasná snídaně . Vše čisté a také krásné společné prostory k využití. Dostali jsme plno informací a rad týkající se další cesty a okolí.
Jediné mínus pro někoho ( nám nevadilo, neboť jsme zde byli asi vyjímečně sami) kdo toto nechce - společné wc a koupelna .

What a beautiful, idyllic place! We were looking for hotels in the area that were a little different and we were so glad to find Granum Gård. The scenery was gorgeous and the two owners were so welcoming, kind, and professional. They really have created a true gem. We loved the 2nd floor living room, with its view and coziness. The breakfast room was so nice, overlooking the landscape.
It was very interesting to tour the grounds to learn about the history of the place. We only wish we could have stayed another night! Highly recommend!

Beautiful place located on top of the hill overlooking a lake. The guesthouse is a historical building and Marianne and her husband were very keen on sharing some insight. Vintage, rustic decor gives the place a nice vibe. Daily breakfast was delicious and we also had 2 dinners, which were homecooked and truly remarkable. Heated floor in the bathroom was also very nice.
Not much to say here. Shared bathrooms were a bit annoying but it's a historical building so it is to be expected I guess.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good, and individually prepared to your requirements. A welcome change from the ubiquitous breakfast buffet.
An additional WiFi repeater could help to ensure that the Internet signal is available in all rooms. Toilet and bathroom were across the hallway. As I believe while I was there I was the only guest on that floor, in essence this means "shared bathroom". That wasn't clearly stated in the information shared on booking.com.

Magnificent view on the lake from a wooden house with all the charm of a 75 year old hotel, including several sitting rooms, one big room with a lot of glass windows, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge, an outside terrace. A little paint is needed here and there, but the rooms are spotlessly clean.
There is an excellent breakfast, and a very nice cafe on the grounds that is open in summer between 12-16 hrs, but be prepared that in the evening there is no catering at all and the nearest restaurants are a 15-20 minutes drive away.

The hosts were so interesting and helpful. We appreciated learning about the history of the Granum Gard and having the tour of the yellow house. The views were awesome and the breakfast smorgasbord delicious! We would recommend Granum Gard to others who want a different experience than staying in a hotel in town.
It was a little challenging to share a bathroom but it worked out fine. We had heavy bags so carrying them up the stairs was a little tough.

Well worth a night’s stay before continuing to the fjords.

The atmosphere was wonderful, stepping back in time. Marianne knowledge of the area and history was so valuable to our trip. The breakfast and dessert was perfect. We appreciated the experience and time Marianne and Lars Harald put in to make our stay perfect
It is very quiet, with no wifi therefore nice soft background music would have been nice when relaxing in the lounge at night
