Excellent breakfast, Great location, Comfortable beds, Cozy room for all four guests. We stayed here to attend a funeral and wanted to checkout this B&B for future stays, being our oldest grandson will be attending Iowa State this Fall. This will be our first choice for booking a room in the future years.

Excellent customer service from the person working during our stay -- they are a KEEPER!!!
You can't control this one -- it was after the ice storm -- brr and very slippery

Snack and beverage availability was great- 24hr access. The basement common room/game room was cozy with a nice selection of board games. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with good service.
Our room was tight - desk chair had to be moved to fully open the door. Not much space on sides of the bed...but it was okay.

Charming rooms. Very quiet place. I liked the self check in.
A/C controls were confusing. It was too cold and I was not able to increase the temp.

There was no presence of staff. Very unwelcoming, felt like we were the only ones in a huge house.

The House is like Home….very lovely place

Room was a little bit shabby (chipped paint, dust on radiators, noisy air conditioner. Just a little dated--nothing major.
2.5
The check-in process was simple and easy with door codes provided in advance. The kitchen staff were attentive and responsive.
The breakfast was not on par with similar bed and breakfasts. Pancakes were served and were of a low-quality (all white, tasteless flour) packaged mix. Muffins and other items were packaged products. Bacon was european-style (more like England, ham with a lot of underdone fat). Coffee and fruit were OK. The 'all day free snacks' were packaged products. There were no eggs or any homemade items offered. The bathroom was clean, but the towel rack fell off when used. The pipes running around the room near the ceiling were covered in visible grime and dust, and the window shades had not been cleaned in some time. The gathering/living room was over-decorated with dated (not vintage) items creating uncomfortable clutter.
4.5
Room very clean and bed extremely comfortable.
As solo female traveler in her 70s I struggled a bit with code and keyless entry. Very grateful they had a number posted on front door to call for help with that. Also, there is no elevator. So know that you have to drag your luggage upstairs to second or third floor.

Lovely Inn!! The room, the living room and dining room were all so gracious. It seemed old world, like we were in Oxford, England. Super clean. Everthing was so orderly and quaint. Breakfast was amazing. And the staff was incredibly friendly. Highly Recommend!!
