Located in Los Gigantes, one of the most sought after resorts in Tenerife. It is in a quiet block with only 5 other apartments, it is just a 5min walk to the centre of Los Gigantes and 10min to the harbour and beach.
This is a large property (120sq.m) spread over 2 floors.
The LOWER FLOOR (62sq.m) is the living area, containing the following:
Fully functional , well-equipped KITCHEN area, with a Fridge Freezer and a Washing Machine.
DINING Area - a table with seating for 6 (can be extended).
LOUNGE Area - a large, light and airy open-plan space with TV, DVD player, CD player, Internet, Wi-Fi and ceiling fans. There is also an extensive DVD and Book library.
LOWER FRONT TERRACE is secluded and perfect for sunbathing. The views of the sea and cliffs are amazing, making this the perfect place to eat 'al fresco' or have a quiet drink while watching the spectacular sunsets. There is a table with 5 chairs and 2 sunbeds.

The UPPER FLOOR (58sq.m) has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with toilet, 1 shower room with toilet, front and rear terraces
The FRONT BEDROOM is large and contains a king-size bed, ample wardrobe space, dressing table with mirror, hair-dryer, ceiling fan, tower fan and a safe for storing valuables.
The UPPER FRONT TERRACE opens from the front bedroom and has an amazing panoramic view of the cliffs, the sea, the harbour and the adjacent islands. There is a table with 2 chairs for morning coffee or evening sundowners and 2 sunbeds. It is also secluded for sunbathing.
The BACK BEDROOM is very large and contains 2 single beds, ceiling fan and a sofa. There is ample storage provided with 2 bedside tables, 2 sets of drawers and a large wardrobe. Patio doors lead out to the UPPER REAR terrace, where there is a table, 2 chairs and a kettle BBQ.
The BATHROOM is fully-fitted with a shower over the bath and a toilet.
The SHOWER ROOM is fully-fitted and has a shower cubicle and a toilet. Including the lower cloakroom, there are 3 toilets in total.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
There are many smoke alarms (photoelectric and optical) fitted throughout the apartment.
There are many TV channels available, offering TV channels mainly from the UK, Ireland and USA.
No smoking inside the apartment - smoking is allowed on the terraces.
No pets are allowed.
The property is accessed by a number of steps (47), and as such, it is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Los Gigantes is located on a hill. The stroll from the apartment down to the centre of the village takes 5 mins but will most likely take a bit longer to walk back - taxis are readily available.
The property is not suitable for children under 10 years due to the height of the Lower Front Terrace wall (with the lower terrace doors open, constant supervision would be required).

This was our third visit to Casa Sunset and it never disappoints. It is comfortable, well positioned and well appointed. A short stroll into town for restaurants and the marina. What more could you ask for?

Very nice location, beautifull views and sunsets! House is very complete, everything you need is there. Owner provided us before we come with much information about the house and equipment, restaurants, services etc.

We loved this apartment! Very spacious and the vieare wonderful! All equipment necessary. The welcome package was very welcome as we only arrived late evening.
I don't recommend breaking your ankle given the steps to get to the apartment. However, I managed and were supported by the lovely people of Los Gigantes who lent me a wheelchair!

From the get-go, when we made our booking almost 12 months ago, we were very impressed by the friendly and informative correspondence with Annette. Off to a good start. The information that she e-mailed to us prior to our stay was excellent, containing everything we needed to find and gain entry to the apartment.
Once there, the Guest Info folders let us know how everything works and how we should make things work - no guesswork in Casa Sunset, allowing us to settle in and enjoy it.
We felt welcome and wanted, something that is not always the case, these days, sad to say.
The apartment is very spacious, in a nice quiet location and was very good for improving our fitness levels, with the walk up the hills from downtown Los Gigantes, and with the four flights of steps up from the street.
Everything was very clean and the ladies doing the weekly housekeeping service did a super job too - thank you.
We had a couple of small problems during our stay but both were fixed just as soon as they could be - one on the same day we flagged it up! Excellent service indeed.
Casa Sunset is very well equipped with everything we needed during our stay, we wanted for nothing. Thank you.
Parking in the street was never a major problem, you can’t say that about other places in Los Gigantes, I promise you!
All in all, then, an extremely well appointed, comfortable and quiet place at which we based ourselves for the duration. We’re already looking at dates……

The apartment is in a mostly residential area, a short distance from the main town itself, which is certainly a walkable distance, but be warned it is up, up and up again, some very steep hills.
The apartment gets the sun direct from just prior to midday, and is very intense heat. It could certainly benefit from air conditioning, but otherwise we couldn’t really fault the apartment. There were only the two of us, and therefore didn’t require to use the rear bedroom or bathroom, which were a bit on the dark side, the shower room was all that was needed.

This lovely apartment is perfectly described in its own blog and in all the positive reviews so I wont repeat it all here. It is a lovely comfy home from home and communication from the hosts was excellent. Just for the benefit of 2 friends travelling together as I often do (I was with my husband on this occasion) and sharing a 2 bedroom apt this may not be the best option as the bedroom at the back (twin beds) is so overshadowed by the stunning front bedroom (double).
If back in this area I would be delighted to stay here again, (with my husband)

Casa Sunset is an extremely comfortable, well equipped property situated in one of the best residential areas of Los Gigantes with stunning views of the harbour, La Gomera and Los Ancantilados.
We particularly enjoyed the two secluded balconies for dining and relaxing, the front bedroom with great views of the fishing boats at night and the well-stocked bookshelves and reading nook.
The information packs and instructions around the house are the best we have come across in many years of renting holiday properties as was the very generous welcome pack waiting in the fridge.
Communication with Annette was easy and we had promt responses to our questions.
Looking forward to staying again.

The apartment was as described in the advertisement but exceeded our expectations. The 2 front terraces had brilliant views over the village and out to the ocean. All other facilities were beyond adequate. Bed was big and comfortable and fans allowed it to be cool for sleeping.
It was a short walk into Los Gigantes or Santiago but quite a climb back up from Los Gigantes on the return. However this was rewarded by the spectacular views. The taxi fare was between 3 and 4 euros and taxis were readily available at all times.
There was an extensive welcome pack which was a welcome bonus meaning there was no need to rush for supplies.
There were beautiful pool (small charge) and pool bar facilities as well as meals available at the Aparthotel across the road.
The apartment is well stocked with books, DVDs and CDs and TV is also well catered for.
Annette and Martin have thought of everything and have provided an extensive booklet for guidance to cover all areas and needs.
We will definitely book for future holidays

A definite return
First time to Tenerife and if available would definitely like to return. We selected Los Gigantes because it was a quieter resort not built up with superb views of the cliffs. We stopped in Casa Sunset in March 22. The apartment is as it is described. The views are exceptional from both sunny balconies till sunset. It’s located on a hill with steps up to the department. It can take up to approx ten minutes to walk to the start of the town where you have access to a good range of bars and supermarkets. The whole area is well maintained, clean and tidy. We hired a car and had no issue parking it along the road below the apartment where it could be viewed. We are both keen walkers and with access to the car we were able to venture into the mountains for some good walks. The host provided lots of information to make our stay comfortable and feeling fully informed what was available in the local area.

Lovely apartment with splendid views of Los Gigantes, the marina and the ocean. It is quite a steep walk up from the town and we are not getting any younger so that was our only difficulty.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, alle nötigen Küchengeräte sind vorhanden (neue Pfannen wären schön), die Versorgung mit Handtüchern sehr großzügig, einschließlich Strandtüchern. Sehr angenehm war, dass während unseres 10-tägigen Aufenthalts einmal der Müll geholt wurde; das Angebot zu putzen haben wir nur für den Fußboden unten angenommen. Der Ort Los Gigantes ist nicht besonders attraktiv (Der Sportboothafen ist nicht schön, für den zu Fuß erreichbaren Los Guios Strand braucht man Badeschuhe), aber ein ganz guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Teide Nationalpark oder ins Teno Gebirge)

Wunderschön gelegene Ferienwohnung
Die Wohnung ist, wie im Insereat beschrieben, sehr geräumig, hell und mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Beide Terrassen bieten genug Platz, um den größten Teil des Tages und des Abends draußen zu verbringen. - Die Küche bietet alles, was man braucht, wenn man sich selbst verpflegen möchte. Besonders angenehm war, dass wir schon eine "Erstausstattung" mit den wichtigsten Lebensmitteln fanden, als wir ankamen.
Wichtig ist, dass man weiß: Bis zum Hafen / bis zum Ort gilt es 143 Treppenstufen zu laufen bzw. größere Steigungen zu überwinden - das verlangt eine gewisse Fitness.
Die Anlage ist auch recht hellhörig; Musik und Stimmen kommen nicht nur von dem oben gelegenen Hotel / Restaurant, sondern auch von den Nachbarwohnungen.

A good size apartment, with lots of facilities such as broadband etc. and well placed for the centre of Los Gigantes. Exemplary documentation and support information from Annette. Friendly people in the nearby apartments with a special shout-out to Shelley for a kettle of boiling water to make some morning coffees during a 20-hr. power outage affecting Casa Sunset and 3 or so of the other apartments.

Only problem was water and electricity was turned off when I got to the property and I had to put all the patio furniture outside before getting myself sorted. Nothing to complain about to much.

Spectacular place!
Wow what a wonderful place! The warm welcome (with provisions in the fridge which was very thoughtful of Annette) and the excellent info on all things local was a fantastic help in planning what to do each day on our holiday. The flat is impeccably clean and is as well equipped if not better than my own home. The lovely terrace balconies give plenty of place to watch the sun go down and eat/sunbathe outside as you wish. It’s a perfect place to visit and re-visit! It is ideally situated in a quiet part of town within walking distance to everything- shops, restaurants, swimming pool, beach and the port. And what stunning views of the sea and overlooking the town - breathtaking! Los Gigantes has all that you’ll need - it is a prettier less built up part of the island and has easy access to visit elsewhere like the national park for cycling and hiking as well as the port to go dolphin spotting and see the wonderful coastline by boat. It is really an ideal place to base yourself for a lovely holiday and we would highly recommend staying here. Annette was really helpful and provided all the info required to make the most of our stay. Definitely an address to keep for another visit. 10 out of 10! Thank you Annette for such a fantastic place.

Perfect Break
Casa Sunset is a delightful property with splendid ocean views. Los Gigantes is quite hilly so the walk to and from the property is energetic. However, placed as it is in a mostly residential area, it is cool and quiet when you get there. We are already thinking about a return visit next year.

Die Lage des Objektes ist ausgezeichnet und dennoch zentral zum Ort Los Gigantes gelegen. Wir haben die Aussicht und Ruhe sehr genossen.
Das Innenleben der Wohnung ist allerdings schon in die Jahre gekommen.
Hier bedarf es einer Erneuerung einiger Elemente z.B
Küche mit alten Geräten, loser Toilettendeckel, verkalkter Duschkopf
loses Treppengeländer. In der Beschreibung der Wohnung sollte auch erwähnt sein, dass ihr Zugang über 47 Stufen erfolgt. Bei 2×20 kg Reisegepäck ist das schon eine sportliche Höchstleistung.

If you think this property looks good on the pictures you won't be disappointed, it's even better in person!
Annette has been brilliant to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful when we had issues with our flights thanks to Thomas Cook.
The amount of things that are provided at the property to make you stay so comfortable and relaxing is amazing. We have never had this level of service from any other property.
The welcome pack was so appreciated especially after arriving late at night.
If there has to be a downside to the property it is the hill walk back from the center and then having to tackle the steps up to the property. But the 4 Euros spent on a taxi instead to get you back is well worth it for having such a place to enjoy your stay.

Property surpassed all expectations. Quality of information and range of resources provided by the owners was excellent. Internet connection way better than anything we can get at home. Standard of accommodation extremely high. Stunning setting and the sunsets amazing. We had a fantastic holiday and are eager to return. Only thing to be aware of is steep inclines up to the road from the centre and the 50+ steps up to the apartment from the road which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. That said, we could not fault the apartment or the location. Thanks Martin & Annette

We had a fabulous time at Casa Sunset. The apartment is spacious and well appointed - with a lot of homey practical touches like an extensive DVD and book collection, plenty of linens, and basics in the fridge when we arrived.
The view is simply amazing - even better than you see in the photos. You can see "Los Gigantes", the rock formation, from both patios.
The town of Los Gigantes is a cute little resort town which we had fun exploring - lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. It made a nice base for our explorations of Tenerife. We were always able to find parking on the street outside the apartment.

Fabulous in every way
We have just returned from a week in Los Gigantes staying at this wonderful apartment. It is maintained to a very high standard and equipped with everything you could ever require on your holidays, we absolutely loved it and will hopefully be returning next year. Booking was very straight forward, Annette kept us informed every step of the way and provided us with helpful local knowledge too.

Nothing really to add to the 5 star rating. Annette was very helpful and easy to deal with throughout. There was a minor problem at the beginning of our stay which was quickly resolved by Annette and the local agent, Safe Hands. A great holiday away from UK's winter blast!

Stunning views
The apartment is really well equipped and the basics you don't often get are supplied, welcome pack, soaps, washing up liquid etc., the notes to enjoy your stay are meticulous. The views from both balconies over the sea and town are truly stunning. It's a 10 minute walk to the town. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.
