Situated in the Chamonix city center, within two minutes walking distance from the train station, apartment Lyret offers comfortable and stylish accommodation for up to 4 people (2 adults + 2 kids under age 16). Fully refurbished for the 2017 season, this idyllic apartment has everything you could want for a relaxing and refreshing holiday in the mountains, including modern amenities and a great location close to the slopes, summer activities, restaurants and shopping. It is fully equipped with everything required for a great holiday. The bedroom has a bunk bed while the sofa bed in the living room can accommodate 2 others. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hairdryer. Facilities include a dining area and a cozy lounge with a flat-screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with the coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettle, refrigerator and a dish washer. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and is easily accessible by lift.
The apartment has a ski locker and access to the private parking outside of the building.

It’s a small apartment and works well for short stays 1-2p. The bedroom with bunk bed has no windows and it gets very hot. It’s better to sleep in the bed sofa, it is not the most comfortable bed sofa but it does the job. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment is clean. No sun on the balcony that gives view to the parking lot, can be a little noisy. We appreciated the stay though and was happy with the owners and communication. I would not recommend a family to stay as the apartment is very small and when the sofa bed is open, there is not much space left. For the single traveller, the apartment is probably the best but works for a couple too!

Overall a nice place to stay. Only a few minute walk from the town center. Unit was fairly clean and well taken care of. Only gripe is that towels and bed sheets were an additional fee and only 1 set of sheets were given when 2 were requested.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The property owner was great to communicate with and flexible with check in/out. The manager was fantastic as well and readily available if we needed something. Fantastic experience, would definitely stay there again!

Just as good as the pictures. Tastefully, well designed and presented apartment with a good, well stocked kitchen area, clean fridge with small freezer, large microwave, oven, hob, lots of utensils, plenty of good pots, pans and good quality frying pan. Bathroom had a lovely powerful overhead or adjustable shower head with plenty of hot water anytime of day or night. Heated floor tiles and good sized hot towel radiator. Wide sofa transforms into sofa bed in living room for upto 2 people and the one separate bedroom with 2 bunk beds were big enough to accomodate a 6ft adult at a push. Those in the bedroom have to walk through the living room to access the toilet which is fine because its a cosy apt made for close friends/family. I was thoroughly impressed by the value for money from this very well presented apt. Location was just 200 yds to the edge of the town centre. Very close to the Aiguille cable car. Took us 12 mins to walk to Folie Douce hotel to meet our friends. Is a 15min walk to Brevent Gondola. Local mid sized supermarket is just 5 mins down the road. Poco Loco burger bar is 7 mins away. MBC bar is 13 mins away for great bar food and beer. Good comms with the owner who kindly let us have a late check out so we could get on the mountain on our last day too. Very happy to recommend to all and to return. Very minor point of recommendation would be to replace the toaster which is past its best, doesnt hold the bread slices and has no crumb tray so makes a mess.

Appartement très propre sauf les couettes qui auraient besoin d'être nettoyées. Problème parking : pas toujours de place et parking pas du tout déneigé ou dégelé ce qui entraîne des difficultés pour se garer (patinage dû à la glace). Appartement très bien situé par rapport au centre ville mais éloigné des pistes.

Logement bien équipé, agréable, confortable, au calme et très proche du centre. Le parking est un vrai plus. Bon accueil par Alex et propriétaire très arrangeante. Il faudrait juste que les couettes soient changées (tâches ) pour que tout soit parfait.

Tout proche du téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi, de la gare de Montenvert pour découvrir la Mer de Glace et du centre ville. Le parking fermé est vraiment appréciable car il est difficile de trouver une place de parking dans Chamonix.

Just go ahead and rent it :-) Perfect location a few blocks away from the center where also the finish of the races are. According to this also a very good price. So thanks to our host after finishing both the CCC race :-) and the visit! Staffan & Mirre from Sweden

Great location. However a few downsides were: the key/lock was very difficult to work and I was worried the key would snap; the beds are extremely basic and uncomfortable (I ended up using the sofa pull-out bed); I had to pay 15 EUR for bedding sheets and a towel which are apparently “extras” but should be included in my view; also the shower plug was slightly blocked meaning water didn’t run away well so I had to take rather quick showers to avoid the shower flooding. The location is great though and the property has a balcony with a nice view.

Die Wohnung liegt super zentral und hat meist einen eigenen Parkplatz. Die Sauberkeit war so lala. Unter den Betten war es sehr staubig und es lag sogar noch Wäsche von den Vormietern darunter. Auch sollten die Matrazenschoner mal gewaschen werden. Es gab auch keine Staubsaugerbeutel und der Staubsauger war voll und die Bürste mit Haaren verstopft. Aber so ist es meistens in Chamonix.

Petit appartement bien rénové, bien situé et les personnes sur place qui s’occupe de faire le check in et Check out sont très gentilles (en revanche il faut leur parler en anglais). Séjour au top!
