Families, no. Bachelorette parties, maybe. Bachelor party, yes.
The fenced-in back and side yard was awsome for the kids to play and run. Two staff members filled all of our needs. Lots of household items (pots, pans, coffee maker, etc.) Short walk across street to subway and under 21 pool
No hot tub on property. No real balcony. Pool is not on AJVM property. Smelled damp after the strong plug-in was unplugged. The two futon beds, BAD. The two staff members were nice, but was shocking to look at the shack that aunt Jane puts them in. Also, high pressure from staff member to rent a golf cart, even after a NO. All picnic tables were shakey and junk. Family stays, 0 stars. Bachelor party stays, 4 stars. Bachelorette party is a dice roll Families, you will be probably be sharing the house with a bachelor party if you do not rent out the entire house. Bachelorette parties, you will probably be staying with bachelor party guys. (Just FYI). The grills worked, but they all looked very rough. Cant talk to a real person (aunt jane), who is in california, but you can email. Trash cans smells up the yard. The pourch feels soft, and only for the people who rent out the middle area.

Okay
The location was prime.
The unit was more a dungeon feel than an apartment. The beds were not comfortable and there was not adequate cleaning supplies as promised. Additionally, I hated that there was literally no towels available, even hand towels.

Aunt Janes lower level
Aunt Janes was the best located house on the island in my opinion. Walking distance to any bar, restaurant or pool bar. The yard was great, plenty of room for grilling out or corn hole. The beds were more comfortable than you would think.
Where do I start. The bottom level was tiny. There were 10 of us guys for a bachelor party and moving around was a challenge. Also, BEWARE of the people who live in the shed out back. They are the house keepers so they know the code to your level. We were shocked to learn that they live there and sat out all day watching us go about our business. The house also doesn’t provide sheets or pillow cases so you have to bring your own.

Never again
We didnt enjoy any part of our stay at your establishment. One positive was the ground keeper. He was very pleasant and helpful
Our biggest complaint was the false advertisement on the website. We thought we were staying in a 3 bedroom house on the lower floor with a pool and jacuzzi. We arrives to find out we were staying in a basement with no pool, jacuzzi. The outside appearance when we arrived was unpleasant as the trash cans were ovwrflowing with trash and flies. The moldy basement smell made several of us nauseated. The humidity from taking a shower and cooking made the floors very slippery which caused one of our guest to fall. Several of our guest were too tall to stand up in the shower. We were not able to sit on the furniture in the living room area due to the futons being covered in stains, and very unsupportive. Comforters for beds were not clean. There was no pool and jacuzzi on site which was one of the reasons why we chose your establishment. We tried to make the best of our stay but very skeptical about staying at your establishment in the future
