Great location for our needs. Very clean and comfortable.
Bed was a bit too low.

Amazing place to stay. Clean and family friendly with so much to do on site. Lovely quiet location in the countryside yet only minutes by car to Dorchester and it’s amenities.
Games room and tennis courts were a real hit for us as a family with a 5 year old son. And the hot tub was a great way to relax under the stars.
Only downside was that there wasn’t a TV in the smaller bedroom.

The location was nice in the nature of Dorchester.
It was hilly and green.
There was a bit of a smell of people having cooked there before, the kitchen cabinets smelt a bit of damp. The cutlery was not as clean as should be. The shower made a lot of noise.
I think it was slightly disappointing for the money we paid for two nights. I guess we got the apartment suitable for dogs which meant that the windows were looking towards the inner court yard. And that meant not too much privacy as people could look in.
I think I just expected more because of the reviews and the money we paid.

The cottage was very comfortable with large double beds and plenty of space in living room. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed a very good evening meal one night using the large table.
We loved walking in the woods next door although Hardy's cottage was closed.
It was very convenient for us with the dog as we had enclosed garden and could walk him in grounds on a lead.
Definitely recommended

Lovely place to stay Jacque gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful
Loved the on-site laundry facilities
A walk-in shower ( Only a suggestion )

Lovely little cottages. Nice Spa Bath!

The location was great. The property was light and airy and very clean. Loved the Koi pond. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely gorgeous setting with a pool and games room to keep you entertained. Was a lovely place to just go for a stroll in the morning.
The cottage was clean and well stocked.
The beds weren't as comfortable as I'd expect for somewhere like this. Quite lumpy so sleep wasn't as good as hoped.

Right next to Hardy's Cottage. Surrounded by fields with lambs. Very quiet location.
Lovely old buildings, probably a converted stable. Modern inside with every comfort catered for. Very thoughtful and caring staff, nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing, everything was lovely

Facilities. Kitchen equipment and leisure facilities.
Signage to the cottages was not that prominent. My father visited and missed the right turn
4.6
One bit of constructive criticism regarding an H&S situation, the bath/shower really needs a wall mounted handrail as we are both elderly and didn’t feel comfortable or safe using it.
4.6
Clean accommodation, friendly staff and fab little pool
Squeaky bed!

The ease of access to the keys meant there was flexibility with time of arrival which was perfect as we were all coming from different cities in the north.
The hot tub maintenance man wandered by our cottage while we were in the tub. This was unexpected and some of the ladies were uncomfortable as we expected privacy in the private tub for Coombe Barton. The staff were otherwise excellent and very helpful and accommodating.
4.6
The cottage had an abundance of facilities; swimming pool, games room, DVDs to share, produce to share, fresh eggs. The cottage was close to Dorchester and easy to access.
Nothing.

The location was great and just as described . The woods were perfect for dog walks . The site was safe and staff friendly.
The actual accommodation was dark, cramped and hot as there was no ventilation. The sofa was one of the most uncomfortable we've ever sat on. The water pressure was non existent, so showers more of a dribble than an a shower. The property was too small to really accommodate 3 adults and a dog. There was also a machine, running all night ,that was supposed to ventilate the property ???

It was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. we had a lovely communal garden which overlooked the screened area of the hot tubs which was very pretty. Plenty of space for us all. Really peaceful and tranquil on a small select complex. Loved the vegetable garden.
N/A!

nice that it was all on one level, and the pond outside the property.
the beds was very soft, 1 was to high for my Mum who did struggle to get in. they could do with new sofas as they are so hard and make so much noise because they are worn out.

A perfect location both for Dorchester and the coast. We visited Portland Bill and Weymouth - all within easy reach. Also some excellent restaurants a short drive away. Excellent facilities within Greenwood Grange.
4.6
good number of cottages but not too many. we stayed in the Wessex which was great for 2 and easily suit 4 adults. nice to have our own garden.
we enjoyed the games room for an hour each evening and a lazy swim in the pool
nothing to mention

Comfortable bed and settee, good TV,, good kitchen and exclusive use of secluded Jacuzzi which was clean. Great grounds and very conveniently located.
Door frame going rotten and rail over the bath kept falling off. Changing rooms still out of action although now no Covid restrictions.

The location was pretty central to most things. Our grandson enjoyed the games room and swimming pool.
When I booked with Booking.com the write up said there would be a private outside space for us to sit or have a BBQ. When I found this wasnt on the invoice I contacted Greenwood Grange and told them I was not happy being misled. I was assured that some garden furniture would be left for us in the cottage so we could sit outside, there was no nothing left as promised, therefore I did not get what I booked and paid for. Very disappointed !! The games room looks and feels pretty shabby and dirty. The swimming pool area, could do with a spruce up, I know the decorators are doing work in the entrance area, but there is lots of flaking paint on the walls and cornice in the pool room. The main bedroom of the lodge is very small for a double, having to squeeze pass the bottom of the bed to leave the room and get into bed. The radiator in the bathroom is poorly positioned, our grandson caught his arm on it on entering and leaving the bathroom on a few occasions and it does get pretty hot.

Location is superb
Nothing

Location quality of fittings
Could have done with a grab rail to help get in and out of the bath

Staff were incredibly helpful both before and during our stay. They went out of their way to make our stay. Facilities were great and cottages beautifully decorated and kitted out.
Small gripe, but better mattresses for the single beds, as it's not always kids that sleep on them.
