About this house rental
Living on the water and at the beach. Many people dream of it. We rent our holiday home in Makkum located less than 75 meters from the beach and water (IJsselmeer). Makkum beach is very popular in the region.
My holiday home is on the De Holle Poarte recreation park, but is very sheltered with lots of privacy in a dune-like environment. You do not feel that you are in a holiday park and you can still use all the facilities. You can walk straight to the beach via the sandy path. WiFi is available in the home.
The house is very complete and modern in Scandinavian style (lots of white with wood) and has 6 sleeping places. The house is less than 75 meters from the beach. The house was completely renovated on the inside in 2016. The house is nicely furnished in Scandinavian style (white with wood) with retro look furniture. A whole new kitchen with dishwasher and oven has been installed. There is a filter coffee machine. There is also a completely new bathroom with a walk-in shower and washing machine. Central heating throughout the house. There is satellite TV and WiFi available.
There are two bedrooms (downstairs) and a loft (upstairs). (3x two people). In total there are 6 sleeping places.
On the spacious terrace is a complete modern lounge corner sofa and a dining table with chairs. On the terrace is sun all day (south). There is a parasol. A barbecue is also included. The outdoor shower is ideal when you return from the beach (hot and cold water).
In the shed are several beach chairs, sun beds that you can take to the beach. For the children there are various beach items available in the shed (a. Rubber boat, skimboard, scoops, buckets, etc). There are two bicycles available (1 women's bicycle and 1 men's bicycle).

We really enjoyed our holiday in this holiday home and its peaceful natural surroundings and had a very good rest. Windsurfing equipment can be carried from this house to the beach. It is truly an island between the campsite and the man-made holiday home development to the south. We can definitely recommend this holiday home.

We had a great stay and would recommend staying here. We were 5 adults and it was plenty of space. It is very close to the beach and you have good options for eating, groceries, bicycle rental within walking distance.

Mooie lokatie, in een heel fijne woning. Netjes en schoon en van vele gemakken voorzien. Zeker een aanrader om dit verblijf te boeken, erg vriendelijk en snel reactie op gestelde vragen.

Tolle Lage und nette Vermieterin
Wir haben zwei Nächte mit drei Kindern und drei Erwachsenen im Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist wirklich top, man kann von der Küche aus das Meer sehen. Ein Bollerwagen zum Transport des Gepäcks steht im Schuppen und ist auch notwendig, weil der Parkplatz nicht direkt am Haus liegt (logischerweise, denn das Haus steht in den Dünen). Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betten im "Vogelnest" haben den Kindern super gefallen. Wer mit Kleinkind reist, sollte ein Seil dabei haben, um die Leiter am Balken hochzuziehen und zu befestigen - ansonsten ist die Versuchung zu groß, und die Leiter sowie die Plattform eindeutig zu gefährlich. Wir hatten zum Glück ein Springseil dabei, sonst wäre es ziemlich stressig geworden. Das obere Hochbett ist ebenfalls nichts für Kleinkinder, weil der Abstand der Absperrung viel zu groß ist und ein kleineres Kind problemlos herauskullern kann. Für Familien mit größeren Kindern (oder gefügigeren Kleinkinder als unsere Tochter) ist die Wohnung aber absolut zu empfehlen.

Paar heerlijke dagen gehad in Makkum. Huisje ligt heel mooi, lekker rustig en mooi ingericht.

Over het algemeen een echte aanrader
4 nachten lang hebben wij (6 vriendinnen) in dit mooie en gezellig aangekleden huisje verbleven. Het huisje ligt op een mooie plek 75 meter van het strand en in de buurt van leuke activiteiten. Ook de bus is op nog geen 5 minuten lopen, waarna je naar allerlei verschillende plekken kunt, zoals Sneek en Texel. Wij hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad hier en raden het dan ook zeker aan. Het enige nadeel was dat het niet erg goed schoongemaakt was, vlekken op borden en bestek en stof op allerlei plekken, zoals de keukenkastjes, de wastafel in de badkamer, achter de droger, enz. Maar dat was dan ook het enige echte minpuntje, verder zag alles er netjes uit en was alles aanwezig.

Ein toller Sommerurlaub mit der Familie!
Wir waren in den Sommerferien des Kindergartens für 2 Wochen im Ferienhaus „De Botter“ und haben einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub verlebt!
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Connie war vor, während und nach der Reise vorbildlich und das Haus war wie auf der Website beschrieben und gezeigt, sauber, gemütlich und umfänglich eingerichtet. DienLage ist toll, weil etwas versteckt in den Dünen und gleichzeitig sehr nah am Wasser, der kleinen Promenade oder den zentralen Punkten des angeschlossenen Erholungsparks. Wir hatten bei gutem Wetter viele entspannte Strandtage mit den Kindern (2&4) und haben auch ein paar Ausflüge in die Umgebung unternommen.
Insgesamt ein toller und erholsamer Urlaub und wir werden gerne wieder kommen:)

Ein paar schöne Tage am ijsselmeer
Sehr schön und ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus. Nette Gastgeberin, das Haus war gut ausgestattet mit zb Dingen für den Strand oder täglichen Gebrauch. Leider etwas hellhörig wenn man mit Babys oder Kleinkindern verreist. Im großen und ganzen war es ein schöner Urlaub und man konnte gut abschalten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Een prachtig vakantiehuis van alle gemakken voorzien en gezellig ingericht. En heel dicht bij het strand, Makkum en de afsluitdijk. Met ons gezin hebben we genoten van de rust in en om het huis, een prachtige zonsondergang en sfeervolle dorpjes.

Wunderschönder Aufenthalt
Wir waren zu viert für eine Woche in Makkum (2 Erwachsene, zwei Kinder im Alter von 6 und 2 Jahren). Das Haus ist wirklich so schön, wie auf den Fotos: Eine sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Auch die richtig große Terasse ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Es stimmen auch die Dinge, die einen Urlaub eben geschmeidig machen (Fliegengitter, gute Kaffeemaschine, große Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, gute Betten...) Am besten ist aber die Lage: Das Haus kombiniert Privatssphäre und Ruhe (die nächsten Häuser sind sichtgeschützt weiter weg und bei uns kam in einer Woche praktisch nie jemand vorbei...) mit der Nähe zu Strand (zu Fuß keine 5 Minuten) und Spielplatz (vielleicht 8 Minuten...). Dank der Fahrräder aus dem Schuppen ist man auch schnell am Supermarkt. Man ist abgeschieden, aber schnell auch im Geschehen.
Der Strand ist groß und sauber und das flache Wasser ideal für Kinder (ambitionierte Schwimmer kommen nicht so auf ihre Kosten, aber in die Kategorie gehören wir nicht...). Selbst beim Ansturm auf die Küste bei tollem Wetter fanden alle ihren (coronakonformen) Platz.
Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Ort, insbesondere für Familien. Es gibt noch viel zu sehen und wir überlegen stark, ob wir nochmal wiederkommen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Connie ist super. Auch das ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Kurz und knapp: Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen:)

Schönes ruhig gelegenes Häuschen mit ausgezeichneter Ausstattung
Wir würden es sofort wieder buchen :) Für Surfer ist das Haus optimal gelegen da das Equipment nur ein paar Meter zum Strand getragen werden muss und ausreichend Platz neben dem Haus zum aufriggen ist. Das Haus ist wundervoll eingerichtet und ist super ausgestattet mit allem was man als Urlauber benötigt. Wir freuen uns bald wieder zukommen.

Echte Erholung
Das sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Strandferienhaus ist eine Garantie für eine erholsame Zeit am Meer! Die Ruhe im Haus, das mit schönen Accessoires ausgestattet war und das maritime Ambiente in Makkum waren für unseren Urlaub mit drei jugendlichen Kindern perfekt. Wassersportmöglichkeiten inclusive. Das Surfen war genial möglich und im Haus fühlten sich alle sehr wohl! Wir können einen Urlaub im Strandhaus "De Botter" von Herzen empfehlen und kommen sicher mal wieder!

Waren als Familie mit drei Kindern für eine Woche zu Gast. Alles perfekt gewesen! Auch sehr viel Privatsphäre möglich obwohl man inmitten eines Beach Resorts ist.

Haus zum Wohlfühlen und relaxen
Schon beim Betreten des hauses ist man im Urlaub. Alles ist hell und freundlich, die Möbel erscheinen genau richtig angeordnet und die Deko macht es perfekt.
Wir waren dort 2 Wochen und haben es sehr genießen können. Alle Räume waren bei der Ankunft sehr sauber, das Boxspring-Bett sorgte für ausreichend Komfort in der Nacht. Der Anbau bietet mit Fahrrädern, Grill und Strand-Spielzeug ausreichend Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung, das Badezimmer ist modern und von der Größe völlig ausreichend. In der Küche findet sich auch alles Notwendige, die Spülmaschine ist im Urlaub immer gern gesehen! Acj ha, alle Fliegengitter waren intakt, das sei definitiv auch mal erwähnt. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig und etwas versteckt - hier findet man seine Ruhe da im Prinzip nie Jemand am Haus vorbeiläuft, auch wenn die Promenade nur 2min zu Fuß entfernt ist.
Stichwort Terrasse: Schön groß mit Esstisch für 6 Personen, Liegen und eine Lounge in L-Form - mehr braucht man nicht!
Für Tage mit schlechtem Wetter gibt es deutsches TV ;-)
Definitiv zu empfehlen wenn man entspannen & Makkum genießen will...

Alles da für einen runden Urlaub!
Das gut versteckt Haus bietet alles was man sich wünschen kann. Von der Sonnenterrasse mit hohen Grad an Privatssphäre über eine gut ausgestattete Küche bis hin zur tollen Dekoration des Hauses.
Man fühlt sich hier direkt zuhause. Kaffee, Salz, Zucker, Waschmittel, Spülmittel, ... sind bereits im Haus und können genutzt werden. Wenn etwas leer geht füllt man es nach, so hat der nächste Gast auch etwas davon. Klasse System! Im Schuppen ist von Fahrrädern über Ballspiele bis zum Weber-Grill auch alles vorhanden was man eventuell braucht und kann kostenlos genutzt werden. Restaurants, Snackbars, Supermarkt sind in fußläufiger Entfernung. Der nur wenige Meter entfernte Strand (Süßwasser) ist sauber und ideal für kleinere Kinder, weil sehr flach Abfallend und so gut wie keine Wellen.
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Connie ist hervorragend und lösungsorientiert.
Die einzigen Kritikpunkte sind die extrem lästigen Mücken und die (für Holland typischen) viel zu weichen Betten.
Fazit: Wir würden wiederkommen!

Wir haben uns in dem kleinen liebevoll eingerichteten Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage am Strand ist perfekt und es gibt eine schöne windgeschützte Terrasse. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Prachtig huisje in prachtige, rustige omgeving vlakbij het meer
Klein, maar o zo fijn! Mooie, rustgevende, kraaknette inrichting. Fantastische ligging, helemaal privé, in het zand, vlakbij het meer en omgeven door groen. Supersnelle en sympathieke service door Connie. 1u na ons berichtje dat de TV niet goed werkte, stond de technieker er al, dus niets moeten missen van onze Rode Duivels op het WK! ;-)
