1. Their communication was terrible. They wouldn't respond to any of their messages via Vrbo, their emails, and their Whatsapp messages. Almost thought it was a scam until I fianlly was able to get into contact with them.
2. The location is great, 5 min walk from beach, across from good restaurants.
3. It was very clean
4. The railings outside of the front widbows looking out to the ocean in the living and dining rooms were being held by a thread of stucco. Nobody should lean on them. The showers were more designed to be like baths than showers with modern shower heads. The one in the hallway next to the bedrooms didn't even have a place to set the shower hose on the wall. You literally had to hold it with one hand and wash yourself with the other. For the other showers, if you turned the water pressure too high, the shower head would fall off and possibly hit someone on the foot or head. These little quirks may be fien for locals but are frankly unacceptable for tourists who are used to more modern shower heads. The locks on the bathrooms didn't work and too make it worse, all but one didn't have curtains on the showers (the bathroom by the bedrooms had one; it was just too small and didn't go length to length, all the way around the tub. The bathrooms other than the master were way too small, especially the one near the kitchen. The laudry room which led to it was unnecessarily large and so the bathroom could easily have been bigger. I don't know if they could do anything about it, but I jsut wish they had made an open floor layout with the kitchen and living room. There was an extra random room set out of the way with just a couch in it. That could have been the dining room. The kitchen should have been where the living room is, and the dining room should have been the living room. Or maybe the wall in between the living room and kitchen could be knocked out. I dunno, and I wouldn't hold them accountable for it because they had to worm with the space they had but that was just our opinion.
5. The power kept going out. We would have to reset the fuse box. This was a major problem, especially in the peak of the hest in the summer.
All in all, these little problems should not disxourage you from getting this place. The views and location were epic and it was super clean. But these are just some notes for the flat manager to deal with.

This apartment is truly gorgeous. It’s huge- comfortable, clean, and the location is unbeatable.
The reason we took stars off is because when we first arrived we noticed ants all over the place. Tiny ones but they were everything. We contacted management and were told they’d come and clean them, but they didn’t. We found some spray and sprayed it and called again the following day. They came and cleaned but when the ants came back later on and we called they just never showed up.
We also weren’t given any changes of sheets in the seven days we were there, or towels.
Other than that it was perfect. The ants weren’t really a bother but it was a little gross to see them and we were afraid to leave food on the counter.

We loved the view of the sea from both the lounge and the roof terrace. The beds and general furnishings were of a good quality and very comfortable. Even better than the photographs suggested. The neighbourhood was very quiet, was close to supermarkets and restaurant. Some very nice ones on the beach.
We walked into the centre of Malaga several times to see the sights. So much to see and do, and the beach is also so close. A perfect spot to be.
We all loved the roof terrace, seating and sun beds. Ideal for a spot of sunbathing or a drink as the sun goes down.
The negative, and it is a small one, would be the lack of crockery and cutlery. A few more plates and bowls would not go amiss. We like to cook an occasional meal, it may not be a problem for those who like to eat out all the time.
Overall we loved the apartment and Malaga and would definitely come back at some point in the future.
