Sitio de paso del camino de Santiago con todo lo necesario.
Está un poco alejado del pueblo. Aún así, tampoco es para tanto.
4.5
Las instalaciones y la atención del personal
Un poco retirado pero caminando no hay problema.

The staff was incredible. I had just finished my longest day on the Camino. It was raining and I was soaking wet and hoping to do laundry. They did not have laundry services but two incredible kind workers offered to drive me into town to do laundry. And if that wasn’t enough, they stayed and waited with me until the laundry was finished. They went above and beyond! The room was very comfortable and incredibly clean. The breakfast in the morning was very good and a set price of 7€.
The location is far from the center.

The room had a space heater which was present in the booking photo. We stayed in October 2023 during the worst of the rainy days and were happy to have our first heated room on the Camino. The building had an elevator which was awesome for our aching feet at what should have been the end of our day. Decent water pressure and hot water from the rainfall shower head.
This property is 800 meters off the Camino Frances but is located on the Camino de Norte. I knew that but I booked anyway because the ad and previous reviews says it has laundry facilities. We wanted a private two person room rather than a dorm Albergue that night.
I sent a message to the property upon booking, asking if there was a Pilgrims meal. I received a reply that there was not but there was a bar and restaurant nearby. Then I sent another message confirming that there were laundry facilities before we walked all the way there from in the town. No reply was received. We checked in and were told there was no laundry, the only option was to walk or cab back to town at our expense to use the laundromat. If this were the case, I would NOT have booked this site.
I wrote another message to the property with the laundry facility of the listing circled and told them that I was not going to cab into town at my own expense. There was no response from the property. The hostess did knock on the door and shoved 10 euros and a taxi business card in my roommates hand so I know they got the message. This doesn’t change the fact that we did not want to leave once arriving after a 31.5km day.
I reached out to both the property and Booking.com and was denied compensation for my time and energy spent going to the laundromat.
Further, the following day once we had walked about 10kms, I could not find my stupid expensive eye drops. I messaged the property and asked them to check the room if it was not cleaned yet and/or the lost and found and trash if it was. I asked them to contact me to arrange forwarding the drops to my next stop via the Pilgrim luggage service. I received no response. I sent a message to Booking.com and got told to contact the property directly. The property still did not respond. No message to advise if they did or did not find the eye drops.
Overall customer service was 0/10 on this stay and I would not recommend it for that reason.

The terrace was superb. Web could ser an spectacular sunset.
The location was very quiet, very recomendable for resting.
The reception was ugly.
The water splits out if the shower allá over the bathroom.

Very comfortable hotel. I love that water was provided on arrival. It was about a 10 minute walk from the center of town.

the wall is paper thin, you can hear your next door neighbour‘’s conversations.

Not only was the room clean, comfortable and spacious, the owners provided a hot pot for tea or coffee and fruit. These are the unexpected surprises that bring people back.

No breakfast was offered and the location was just ok
There was NO fans or air conditioning in the bedrooms. This meant that you had to leave your windows open to get any type of circulation in the room. Mosquito bites were numerous. NOT Good at all.

Lovely terrace for sun set & fruit ; coffee & chocolate was a nice touch !
The location said 700m from city but was 1.6k from arriving and too remote , in a residential neighbourhood bit suited to waking home late in the evening….

The lady receptionist was so helpful when I arrived, explaining everything about where to go for food and drink. She even booked the following night's accommodation for me at the next stop on my Camino.
No restaurant nearby.

The lady on reception was very helpful. Also we arranged for our backpack to be taken to next hotel which was 4 euros.
all good with property.

Friendly reception staff. Large room. Water, tea and coffee making facilities. Comfy beds and large shower.
Half a mile off the camino route which when you have walked all day and it is very hot is a real pain. Reception did say we could have a complimentary lift into the town. In the end we chose to walk back into town as lift unconfirmed until 10 mins before we wanted to go. Definitely not in the tourist quarter so you do need to go back into the centre for food. No sound proofing so the only chance of sleeping was when the traffic stopped.

Reception woman very nice.
Bright light would go on if you got near the bathroom. Had lots of bugs fly in because of light. Had to close window and kill the bugs in the middle of the night.

The hosts were amazing!!!! They were kind and generous. They communicated well prior and during. The terrace, available washer dryer, and coffee/tea & fruit was the best! Best place I’ve stayed on the Camino!
