The Best Hotel & Dining in Chianalea!

The location is perfect. I booked a sea view room and it was extraordinary to have such a beautiful view of the sea, morning, noon and night. The hospitality was exceptional, the staff were all very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I stayed three nights and enjoyed a superb dinner every night on the beautiful terrace, the best in Chianalea.

Una posizione indimenticabile!!!

Posizione ben oltre il 10, praticamente sul mare. Staff gentilissimo. Colazione ricca e abbondante. Possibilità di parcheggio a poche centinaia di metri dalla struttura.

As a town, Scilla is idyllic but surprisingly littered

location in a lovely part of the old idyllic town of Scilla. the standard of the hotel is good, the cleanliness is first class. breakfast plentiful and everything was served to the tables.

The room was sold without a sea view, but it was disappointing that the only window in the room was a 30 cm high hatch in the ceiling, so the room was dark. all the plantings had been neglected, the flowers on the hotel's balcony were no longer in order. Scilla was idy. As a town, Scilla is idyllic but surprisingly littered.

Wow, Wow, Wow! Il Casato Deluxe Rooms and Scilla are a must.

Superb location with restaurants, bars and boat tours just metres away. The rooms were quiet, modern and had great air conditioning. Beautifully cleaned daily we had spectacular views of the sea, castle and town, The breakfast was delicious, generous with a wide array of food and beverages. We ate on two occasions at the hotel’s restaurant and found it to be one of the best in the area. All of the hotel staff and manager that we dealt with were friendly and always went out of their way to help us with any queries we had including arranging transfers. All of our group of 9 wouldn’t hesitate to return here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here & would return

Breakfast was great - plenty of choice & fresh. Could request eggs done your way & great coffee. Location was on the waterfront - the beach clubs were 5-10 minutes walk away. The town was accessed by steps or fairly steep walkway.

Access to taxis/tuk tuk if you needed to go to town were not frequent or easy to get. Reception did help though. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance so not such a problem for us.

Newly renovated room, clean and nice location. very nice breakfast. staff was very polite and helpful.

slight inconvenience if you come by car. you will need to park a little further up and walk with your luggage. Not a big deal.

The staff was fantastic. They had everything covered from the front desk to the morning breakfast, daily fresh linens and towels, to the Fein restaurant. All a wonderful experience.

Scilla is beautiful and Il Casato is a perfect hotel to enjoy it from.

Location was great with restaurants and wine bars within 2 min walk. Room simply and beautiful with stunning outlook. Staff helpful and friendly. Loved Scilla and would absolutely stay at Il Casato again.

Some clearer communication on where to park. Was very manageable but initially a bit unclear.

Most amazing view from the room!

the hotel was absolutely lovely! The most amazing view to the ocean from the view. The hotel was super comfortable and the rooms very clean and modern. I really love it and slept amazing! The restaurant food was so good we ate at it 2 evenings! absolutely delicious!

The cleaner who speaks English was a bit difficult (rolling eyes at any request) and made us feel everything was a hustle.... she does need to improve her attitude as the hotel is amazing but every interaction with her made me feel she was making me a favor and not like I was paying for a service.

A beautiful hotel with an amazing view

The room was beautiful and the view was amazing! It was perfectly cleaned and all the stuff were such a new.

The breakfast was a bit sweet (Maybe is normal to eat desserts in the breakfast in this region), but would be perfect have another salty options for the guest! 😊

the staff is exceptional nice and caring the room is modern and comfortable with a modern bathroom and a good air conditioning the food at the restaurant is exceptional, really good quality and service is amazing the design of the room and restaurant is really accurate

The charm of Old Schilla embodied in a modern hotel

The room was very large. It is in a scenic location next to the water. The best are the rooms with the sea view. The breakfast is especially recommended

The hotel closes at midnight, meaning their is a de facto curfew during nighttime. It disn't bother us at all since we were sound asleep though.

Lovely rooms with great views. Excellent breakfast with wonderful staff (Gina and Stephania). All the staff were great.

It is 340m to available parking and they don't have any assistance for baggage, such as a trolley to borrow. They called a Tuk-Tuk taxi for us when we departed and the driver charged €20 for a journey of .34km (340m), which, having been told by locals it should be around €5 to €10 was a shock. They should invest in a couple of hand-pull carts for guest use.

A great find in a pretty seaside town right at the toe of Italy.

We loved our 2 night stay here. Absolutely beautiful good-sized room right on the waterfront, and exceptionally pleasant staff. Very good breakfast as well.
