About this villa rental
The villa features a smartly appointed living room. Our guests can spend some relaxing moments there lounging on damask covered sofas and lazy boys as they watch satellite television, surf the internet, read or just snooze. For your convenience, there is an elevator to the second floor.
Each of the villa’s five rooms has a private bathroom and is exquisitely furnished with beds of wrought iron and vietresi.
The flooring in each room feature hand-painted veitresi ceramic. The furnishings in the bedrooms are exquisitely elegant and include antique furniture. The villa has two stories and rooms on the second floor are accessible through an interior elevator or an external staircase. Each room has two large windows with a refreshing view onto the garden.
Four of the bedrooms have a tastefully furnished private bathroom and are equipped to provide the ultimate in comfort and convenience. Amenities include satellite television, air conditioning, a dish washer, a sundeck, a washing machine, a washer-dryer, and climate control winter time heat, internet Wi-Fi min-bar, and a hair dryer.
We also offer a comfy guesthouse that includes satellite TV, air conditioning, internet Wi-Fi, a safe, a mini-bar and a hair-dryer.

Advantages of a villa in the city centre: Behind the villa you can see the ancient church famous throughout the world for the wonderful Chapel of Saint Francis, revered by art historians and a place that is often chosen for wedding celebrations by couples from all over the world. Four couples who travel regularly together stayed at the villa and we have never had a better location or a better host. The villa is situated in the heart of Sorrento providing easy access to all activities (e.g., shopping, dining, recreation, sight seeing) without the need of a vehicle. The villa is lovely and extremely well appointed. Moreover, Anastasia is a wonderful host, so welcoming and helpful. If you are planning to stay in Sorrento, this villa should be your first choice.

What a wonderful villa! This villa is in the perfect spot in Sorrento. It is right in the middle of everything that you can easily walk to, but it is so quiet. There is a beautiful garden in front that adds a lot to the peaceful atmosphere. The front porch has a large dining table and seating area. The balcony on the second floor offers a beautiful view of the ocean. The interior is beautiful and spacious. Everything was clean and neat and well furnished inside. Thank you Anastasia for a wonderful stay :)

We could not have been more pleased by the accommodations and many little hospitable touches provided by Anastasia of Villa La Contessina in Sorrento. I almost don't want to share how wonderful the villa was for our 8 guests/family members because I'm afraid it will get overbooked! :-) But honestly, it was impeccably decorated, clean, well-stocked and just a lovely place to be. The bedrooms are a great size and all have their own spacious bathrooms. The additional entry ways into bedrooms and deck space was unexpected. And you can't beat the location. We wanted to be able to walk everywhere and we did. This reviewer is very picky - and it was just outstanding in every way. The pictures online do not do it justice. We will be back!

Beautiful Sorrento Oasis
We absolutely loved our stay at Anastasia’s villa. Aside from the location being superb, the villa was clean, spacious and felt like our own private oasis. We appreciated that each room was private and boasted its own bathroom, as we were traveling with 3 generations of our family. Anastasia’s communication leading up to our stay was consistent and clear, and she even helped arrange our transportation into town and a day excursion to Pompei. Anastasia also arranged for a private meal at the villa for our Christmas Eve dinner which was such a treat. Truly a 10/10 stay and would whole heartedly recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento! Anastasia is a gracious host who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Our family rented Anastasias villa for the last week of August. What a wonderful surprise.First - it is right in the heart of Sorrento, but secluded just off the small square where you would never know it. Truly an unbelievable location. You are literally 2 minutes on foot from all the restaurants, shops and excursion pickup spots and a 5 minute stroll to the breathtaking park overlooking the Bay of Naples and the beach. The pictures do not come close to doing the villa justice!!The gardens around the house are spectacular. There is a wonderful outdoor terrace with beautiful lounge sofas, chairs and tables. To top that off there is a second floor terrace that gives a glimpse of the bay of Naples.Inside there is a spacious living area along with five separate bedrooms, all with Queen beds and all with their own private bathroom & shower. The kitchen has all the amenities along with a a beautiful tile hood over the stove. Anastasia was so accommodating and went out of her way to help us with local dining and sites. She even had a very nice dinner waiting for us when we arrived. This is the perfect place to stay in Sorrento for groups 5 - 10 people. We would go back in a heartbeat

A lovely villa - highly recommended
We had an excellent holiday at Villa Contessina. The villa and garden are delightful - they are a hidden and spacious oasis in the middle of an otherwise busy Sorrento. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed, and the location is great - lots of restaurants with trains and ferries only a few minutes' walk away (we had a car for half of our stay but you could manage happily without).
Anastasia and her mother were perfect hosts, and the fantastic food left for our lunch on arrival was an unexpected delight!
We would wholeheartedly recommend the villa, and hope to return ourselves before too long.

This villa was fantastic. I had my wedding in Sorrento and decided to get a Villa close to the town centre as it was easier access for the family. This isthe best located villa there is in Sorrento. The owner Anastastia and her mother were the best hosts. Endless limoncella and cakes! They allowed us to hold a small henna party for my guests and an Indian wedding ceremony. I couldnt have asked for anything more. They were always there to help and we had no problems whatsoever.I would definitely recommend this villa for a family holiday. It was close to the main square, shops and restaurants...everything was on the doorstep. Thanks Anastastia ...Reshma & Andrew

Beautiful in Sorrento
Villa la Contessina is absolutely beautiful. It's perfectly located; in a quiet area well within a short walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the train station and grocery store. it's also about a block away from a lift that takes you down to the ferries at Marina Piccola. It was well appointed and more spacious than it would appear from looking at the floor plan on the Internet. It accommodated all eight of us very well. Don't let the thin European mattresses worry you. They're very comfortable. The gardens are perfectly manicured and the upstairs balcony is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. It was still a bit cool the end of April, so we were also pleased that the living room was spacious enough for all of us to gather without crowding. The kitchen was equipped well enough for cooking, but we found plenty of good restaurants and ate out every night. If you want your espresso or cappuccino every morning, there is a great non-touristy cafe bar on the adjacent square. The owner was very welcoming, gracious and accommodated our need for an early morning Saturday departure. I would definitely recommend Villa la Contessina to friends and family. I don't know if we'll ever have an opportunity to return, but I would happily stay at the Villa again.

Charming, central location....
We absolutely loved our stay. The home was very well kept, and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds, really nothing more that you could ask for. The grounds were very well kept and provided for great out door dinning.....the location is simply amazing...restaurants, grocery stores, train station, taxi's , ferries to Capri, and the Amalfi coast are all within walking distance. We wouldn't hestitate to recomend staying here, in fact we will definitely stay here on our next visit to Sorrento and the surrounding area.
