This was our first time staying at Trappers Crossing. We liked that it was quiet and you could hear the river running while sitting on the deck overlooking a wooded area. I'm always warm, but was happy to see several fans in the condo. The kitchen was well stocked even with a blender. Having a washer/dryer was very convenient. There was a large bottle of detergent in the closet, but was completely empty. Luckily, we brought our own detergent. We did have a couple of issues with the code on the door and ice maker not working, but Vacasa was very prompt helping us with both. A few things we didn't like: The mattress was terrible if you have two people. It wasn't comfortable and squeaked if the other person moved during the night. We couldn't find washcloths anywhere, which we thought was odd. Having to drive to River Run to use the pool was a pain. A shuttle was mentioned in the condo description, but we never saw it once. Maybe it's just a winter thing. We booked this condo in August. The pool & hot tub at River Run were both nice. There is another hot tub on the property, which was more convenient to use, but the water was just lukewarm so we only walked there once. I ended up just using the jacuzzi tub in the condo instead.

Swimming pool is not on property - you have to drive there. Love the balcony next to the woods - you could hear the river. Overall nice.

A nice little place for a ski trip to Keystone. Has everything you need, and the fireplace is a great bonus. Only complaint is like other reviews say, the bed is uncomfy, but not the worst. The shuttle to the ski hill/ into town is very convenient and easy to navigate and the hot tub is nice!

We loved our stay. Great location and easy check-in process. Bed was not very comfortable, my husband has trouble sleeping. Condo was pretty clean but trash left on the front mat, a pill found on bedside table, and bathtub had some hair in it. And easy check-out. Had all we needed for a weekend ski trip.

My husband and I are traveling full time while working and came across this wonderful condo outside Dillon, CO for our temporary home. High speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The pictures are lovely, but don't do it justice! The view is nothing but mountainous woods and you can hear the river from the private deck. It's a first-floor unit with parking directly in front for easy access. There is a large closet in the bedroom that provides ample storage space, and I loved the gas stove/oven and fireplace. Trash/recycle building was right across the parking lot, and a little further along was the outdoor hot tub (very nice) and heated locker rooms. Additional bonuses were easy access to the Keystone Resort complex and a great local coffee shop, Steep, within walking distance (about 1.1mi). Groceries are an easy 10-15m drive to City Market in Dillon: get the discount card for Kroger and you can get great perks on filling up at their gas station. This is a great jumping off point for hiking the Continental Divide trails, walking the Dillon Reservoir, going to Breckenridge/Vail etc. Lots to do locally, but a great location to just stay in and chill too. We loved our stay so much we extended it and ended up staying a month total (Oct) -- it was noisy when the upstairs neighbors were in residence (a couple weekends only) since the sound proofing wasn't good but we were there off season so almost totally quiet. My only recommendation would be to please add potholders for those of us who like to cook -- otherwise perfect!

We spent three days in Trappers Crossing while skiing in late May. This was our first experience with Vacasa. Here are some pros and cons from our stay:
Pros:
- The condo was clean.
- There were adequate pillows, sheets, and towels.
- The condo had a beautiful patio on the back overlooking the forest.
Cons:
- The original keys for the condo didn’t work. We had to call Vacasa, who had to contact a maintenance person to call us back. We got stuck having to wait in front of the condo more than 30 minutes before learning there was a secondary lock box that had a master key that we ended up using.
- We didn’t receive the welcome email prior to getting there, so we didn’t know the wifi information, nor did we know that there was a separate RFID card that was needed to access the hot tub. This information was not present anywhere inside the condo. When I called Vacasa, I was on hold for 40 minutes before I got to speak to someone. The woman I spoke with was incredibly kind, empathetic, and understanding, which helped minimize the frustration. She tried resending the welcome email twice, and neither time I received it. She said she had a workaround that allowed her to send it a different way the third time, which I finally received. The fact that there is a known workaround leads me to believe I was not the first person this has ever happened to.
- The RFID card didn’t work for the hot tub, which required a third call to Vacasa. They contacted a maintenance person who called us back and brought 5 keys, none of which worked. He was also incredibly professional, kind, and empathetic. He mentioned that he escalated the issue to his manager, and that they were going to be able to get an updated RFID card until after we left. Outside of that one time, we were unable to use the hot tub during our stay.
- The condo was really hot, and the temperature control didn’t seem to work. We didn’t want to call Vacasa a fourth time and get stuck on hold again, so we just opened the back patio door until the temperature was to our liking.
Overall, our experience could have been much better. Vacasa should also consider placing a laminated page somewhere in each property that has basic information (such as the wifi info, parking pass, check out time, and any other important information) so they don’t have to rely on people receiving their welcome email (as well as reading it).
Given all of the challenges we had, I am not sure if we would rent another unit managed by Vacasa. It probably wouldn’t have been as frustrating if it was easy to get through to someone without having to be placed on hold for so long.

April getaway
Nice unit and gas stove even though I didn’t use. Don’t like electric so that was nice. Fan and blinds in bedroom need some work. Bathroom and jetted tub nice and little washer and dryer a bonus.

Great Keystone condo
This was our first visit to the Keystone area. The condo is in a great location. It is tucked back in the woods but has easy access to Keystone Ski Resort, and Hwy 6. We skied at Breckenridge the first day of our weekend vacation, and then Keystone on day two. There are many ski resorts within a short distance. Loved the condo. Was well laid out, and cozy. We found it easy to come back after skiing and relax. Everything was in great working condition and clean. The only drawback was we found the bed mattress to be overly firm. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Great condo, needs upgrades
The location and property were great, but for the price it need some upgrades. The mattress was subpar, pillows and blankets very old and the comforter was dirty. The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped, but lacked in certain areas, e.g. there were 4 forks, 3 of which were salad forks. The key to the hot tub didn't work, but we eventually got one that did. Be aware that although the condo sleeps 6 there is only one parking pass, and none other are available.

Quiet place
Took a quick weekend trip to the mountains with my young family and this place was perfect for the 4 of us (2 small kids). Easy to get in and out and the community was quiet, with some nice walking paths around. I appreciated being close to keystone village, without being right in the village.

Serene location
This little gem makes you feel far from your every day stress. The balcony looks out on the pine trees with the sounds of the snake river in the back ground. You feel like you are in a cabin deep in the woods.

Perfect wooded haven
The Snake River is right behind the place and the sound of the river is one of the best things about it. The view is wonderful. There were hummingbirds flying by during our early July visit and we took some hikes up farther on Montezuma - saw two big moose.
The house is clean and well equipped. The knives aren't very good, so consider bringing your own. The couch and pull out bed were adequately comfortable. The sound of the river is nice from there. Gas fireplace is easy to turn on and runs on a timer.
A great deal for the price, secluded at the top of the road. Would definitely stay again!

Trappers Crossing
The location was wonderful, close proximity to Keystone ski bus, close to hot tub, beautiful view of woods. The unit has upgraded appliances however the kitchen could be better stocked, new silverware, some 9x13 casserole pans etc. The living room furniture is uncomfortable, the bed squeaks and the mattress is mediocre. The bedroom television only gets OWN Network.

Keys DID NOT WORK for property described "access to pool/hot tub"
Property was great. Location was great. Management company in Oregon was responsive. Satellite location in Keystone Colorado Property Management did not provide keys or access to additional facilities described in description of vacation rental. We could not get access to the pool and hot tub facilities during our stay.

Wonderful!
Condo was spacious, views out the back were beautiful, fireplace made it warm and cozy, kitchen was well equipped, was only about a mile drive to river run village, check in was super easy. Only suggestion would be to stock condo with a deck of cards and some new, more up to date board games. Also, look into getting the glitchy TV fixed. All around awesome stay!

Great ski apartment
Lovely, comfortable apartment with plenty of space for our family of 4. The location was perfect as it was peaceful and the resort shuttle stopped right at the property. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to keystone.
Our only problem was with the key cards, which kept failing. Laura was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we weren’t stuck out in the cold!

Great place, convenient location, very clean
We had a great stay at this condo, equipped with all the essentials for a couple. Very quiet area with easy check in and check out. Convenerient to keystone ski area. Didn’t utilize the shuttle but saw them quite frequently. Would stay again.

We enjoyed being on the shuttle
We enjoyed the place, a few things were not clean (blankets, and hot pads had stains), the heat was way too high, we called about it but I get the feeling it always runs hot. Never got the right temp, the TV in the bedroom had no cable, and the hot tub key didn't work. It was our last day so never called about that...it's a nice place. I always think if at min. it is clean and everything is working well- that is all I'm asking for. We really enjoyed the convenience of being on the orange shuttle line.

Great views and perfect location!
Loved this weekend getaway. This condo was perfect for my family of 3.. it has everything you need. Right next to the forest, loved the view and the sound from the river. Perfect place to relax and get away from daily routine. It was our first time going to keystone and we loved it. And the access to the jacuzzi and other hot tubs by river run was the cherry on top.
Didn't have any contact with the manager during stay but on our way back home I noticed we didn't gave the keys back along with the parking pass, called and they were very understanding and gave me the option to mail the keys to them so I didn't have to go back. Thank you!

What a beautiful place. The complex and the condo were just perfect. Ground floor, no stairs very nice. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Comfortable furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. Scenic beauty off the balcony complete with outdoor grille. I would highly recommend this choice, you will not be disappointed.

Property was very quiet and peaceful. The condo could use some updates.
Quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay. The hot water heater had gone out and we didn't realize it until late in the day, I called the number listed and they came right out and worked late into the night till they got it fixed.
