Eine wunderbare Gastgeberin mit zwei sehr schön gelegenen Appertments in einem gepflegten Garten!

Martha ist eine außergewöhnliche gute und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns mit Tipps und auch bei Krankheit zur Seite stand. Die Anlage ist liebevoll gepflegt und das Apparment ist sehr persönlich eingerichtet.

Anfangs lief Wifi etwas ruckelig, aber Martha hat sich sofort darum gekümmert.

Fantastic!

We loved Providencia and were very happy to have rented this top appartement. Stunning views, great place to stay, super clean and all you need is there, for those who like to cook, the kitchen is very well equiped. The host Martha is very nice and helps you out with anything you need!

An amazing location, a lovely house and warm welcome of the host Martha. The ocean view is spectaculair. Martha also helped us with arranging transport, washing clothes, ordering food etc. Overall we would definitely come back

We fell in love with Providencia and felt totally at home at Windy View.

Great property. Sea view. Very quiet and a very friendly host. Absolutely recommended.

Be prepared for moskitos. Bring repellent. This is true for all places on the island.

Paradise!

The property is really a little piece of heaven. It is located in a less touristic part of the island which we loved as it gave us all the privacy for a perfect getaway; at the same time it’s within a 5 min drive from all the best beaches of the island. It has all the necessary amenities and more, giving you a homey feeling. Marta was an incredible host and helped us with absolutely everything we needed, from finding a scooter to booking day trips. We would definitely come back!

incredible view over the sea, very charming flat

the apartment is just stunning, it is all in wood and very thoughtfully decorated with local colors, books, hammock and everything you need to feel home during your stay. It has one of the best view I have ever had in my life over the Caribbean sea.

the beds are quite small, only the master bedroom had a mosquito net, the other small room don’t. Each room has a fan because there is no AC, and the house is opened everywhere, there is no window, which makes you feel in the middle of the nature (which I personally enjoyed) but it can be very overwhelming for light sleepers. also, Martha can accommodate experience and scooters, but we found a better guy called Nick on the island. he is a little more expensive but he takes you everywhere and show you the underwater like never experienced before. Providencia is a dream, and Windy View Guest House was a perfect spot to experience it.

Windy View is a super cute spot in a quiet area on the island - easy to walk to a small grocery, grab some to-go morning arepas, or journey to Roland's Bar at Playa Manzanillo. Martha was always there to answer questions and helped us locate any resources we needed (scooter rental, info about hiking, scuba, etc...). We stayed in the bottom floor (Garden View apartment) which was perfect - it has a great kitchen with a fridge and enough supplies to cook a few meals. What an incredible book and CD collection, a playable guitar, outside hammocks to lounge in, and AC in the bedrooms. Nothing can match waking up and watching a serene sunset on the patio, enjoying a warm breeze over a cup of coffee. The property has a private, well-maintained yard as well to explore and park in.

The listing on this website made it a little confusing to figure out which apartment we were renting (top floor vs. bottom floor) as all of the pictures are the same on each listing. Both are beautiful, though!

We had an amazing stay at this place. From the beginning, Martha was extremely accommodating and friendly. She was flexible about check in and provided us recommendations and contacts to help with our trip. The place itself is very well maintained, clean, large and has everything you could ask for. It’s ocean view, has a large outdoor patio space and a well appointed kitchen. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Beautiful and calm apartment with sea view :)

Beautiful property with a lovely garden and a wonderful view. Our host was super friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious and has a great kitchen. Both bedrooms have an AC and I loved the little terrace with the hammocks looking at the sea.

Martha was an absolutely amazing host, helped with every question and any individual needs like calling taxis, room questions, recommendations and other contacts. She went above and beyond in helping make the stay as comfortable as possible. The view and breeze from the hammocks cannot be beat either.

Staying in Providencia? Stay here.

The location is ideal for the great beaches round the south side of the island. The apartment has great views around the area, it is really spacious, the AC in the bedroom is really effective. Martha was a massive help throughout our trip, assisting us in getting a vehicle during our stay and finding a snorkelling tour for us on Christmas morning and when I somehow managed to snap a key (!!!). The apartment was very clean and had all the necessities for a stay. PS. Seriously cute puppy!

Home away from home!

Windy view was a great property to stay at. Our host Martha was amazing, super friendly! Cleaning for us, changing towels and bedding regularly too. She was always in the garden and happy to help us with transport around the island, advising on places to eat and helping us with our sunburn! It was a cosy, well kept home that we would definitely recommend staying in!

This is more of a personal preference. The house does not have windows as such. It is an open house so you need to use a mosquito net for the bed and animals can go inside at night (I spotted a bat and a cat) in the house. However, I do acknowledge that this is a typical design for the island and it is very well preserved

We are planning to return! We had a lovely visit.

The quiet, private location surrounded by a tranquil garden was walkable to a beautiful beach. Our host was extremely friendly, helpful and informative about the island. She had clear communication about our stay and suggestions for activities.

Marta was a nice, polite, wonderful host. We had a great time in villa. Villa is really good equipped. You don t get internet. 3g is not so fast.. better if u rent a scooter. The beach is 30 minutes by walk.
