Little Paradise

Wir verbrachten 8 Nächte im Riff Hikkaduwa und es war absolut traumhaft. Eine kleine Oase, welche man so schnell nicht mehr verlassen möchte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch. Die Ausstatung der Zimmer läst keine Wünsche offen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Danke an das ganze Riff Hikkaduwa Team!

Le sourire et le professionnalisme du staff ! Les équipes sont très bien formées, ils se préoccupent du bien être des clients dans les moindres détails. Le design de l’hôtel et son équipement.

Piscine petite et trop près de tout le monde. L’hôtel est un peu loin du centre-ville.

Good food , good personal , drinking water issues , incredible location and very good rooms

First of all you need to understand that there is “season” and “off-season” . Season = you can use hotel beach . Off season = you must go ( 20 minutes or 5 minutes by tuk-tuk ) to Turtle beach so you can swim ! It’s really important to understand. So about hotel food was incredible, breakfast + lunch + dinner ( plus rooftop restaurant with sushi ) was amazing. Personal was kind and helpful. We arranger a trip to some kind of river from hotel - they provided good and professional driver and our trip went marvellous! Good exchange rate from US dollar ! We had presidental suite and in our opinion it was very good room with all you needed ( including your own pool ) . Highly recommend to visit this place .

As I mentioned you should understand season and off season thing. And most terrible thing we had in Riff Hikkaduwa hotel is that sometimes we had tap water in refilled glass bottles ( in Sri Lanka almost all hotels do glass bottles with water that they refill for you ) so as I mentioned we had TAP water in our room sometimes . I mean we had 4 bottles of water and 1 or 2 of them sometimes was filled with terrible water . We didn’t say that at check out since we didn’t want to proof anything . But if we close eyes to this disaster hotel is highly recommended by us .

Absolutely Fantastic Beach Hotel

It was a splendid and absolutely amazing stay for me and my partner. They complimentary upgraded our room to King Suite and was really a fantastic experience. We super loved our stay that we actually extended for 2 days more. The sea view in the balcony is breathtaking. We enjoyed soaking in the bathtub while watching the sunset. The beachfront is so wide, clean and serene compared to other beachfronts of other hotels. Their infinity pool is also very lovely. We also like the gym, and the massage. The breakfast was great and there's a lot of options in the menu. The food in the Japanese restaurant in the rooftop is sumptuous yet very affordable. The staffs are all very approachable and so friendly. They always smile and quick. We loved their hospitality and their positive vibes every morning.

It was a pleasant experience.

I liked the Japanese inspiration. It was a pleasant experience, the hotel staff were prompt and friendly. I’d stay again if I could. The views from the beach is stunning, definitely a great sight to fall asleep and wake up to. The Balinese Spa here felt so relaxing. I would have went again if my budget for the trip allows it, but alas it was a great experience nonetheless. The gym is air conditioned, has cardio and weight training machines, stocked with drinkable chilled water and have their own private showers.

The toilets are beautifully designed but lacks in privacy. The only privacy you get is through a manually operated blind. Thankfully, the toilet doors have locks. It can get annoying when you have multiple people in the room and you’re pulling the blinds down to relieve yourself.

Amazing property in Hikkaduwa!

Amazing property! The staff were so attentive and delivered such high customer service, all facilities, a La carte breakfast, pool and beach stunning. We stayed here for 3 nights to relax after a busy week touring around Sri Lanka. This property is minimalistic yet elegant. We all loved it. Will definitely be back and recommend.

Amazing staff and really good service. The location was really great with a beach and sunset view. Loved the design of the rooms.

The rooms were not soundproof and the curtains brought in some light in the mornings even fully closed.

Excellent stay. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the hectic city life. Time slows down in Riff

Service. The attitude of the staff and the cheerfulness and friendliness Displayed by all of them including their GM Angelo Mendis who is a wonderful person.

The food and beverage cost is a little high. The beverage selection can be improved to include wheat beer, and other popular brands in whiskey / single malts

Everything ! From the moment we entered till the moment we left it was all very amazing. The staff are very friendly and trying to help with anything. The rooms are very nice with every amenities you can think of. Great view from the balcony with a good A/C and fan. The rooftop bar is great for a sundowner or a stroll along the beach ia also nice

We love Riff Hikkaduwa. Came already couple of times and will be back for sure again. People in the hotel are super friendly, very welcoming and quality of service is excellent and the food is brilliant. As we stayed around the Sinhalese New Year celebrations, the hotel prepared beautiful ceremonies, dinner and we got beautiful gift (The lungi) to wear. Amazing and thoughtful touch. Facilities are great - stunning pool, nice and clean gym, library and big plus is high speed WIFI - could do download and photo edits easily. And the location is fab...Narigama beach has so much to offer, you can simply just walk for hrs and enjoy the sound of the ocean, dip in the ocean or take some surf lessons.

The hotel is new and the room was very clean and comfortable. Stunning view of the ocean and sunsets from the balcony. The beach is 2 minutes from the room, comfortable sun loungers and quality service. Breakfast was very tasty and hearty, service was on par. Were 2 nights and it was an absolute relaxation and a lovely holiday at 100%

Me and my sister booked this as a starting point for our trip to Sri Lanka. Were supposed to have one night here but we extended two times. Everything has been more than we could ever expect. The staff is beyond amazing. We felt so welcome when we arrived and they treated us so nice even though we looked and felt tired after a long travel from Norway. We arrived before check in-time but still they did everything they could to have the room ready earlier and we got access to the gym changing room to freshen up. Everyone in the staff is so kind and helpful and they really do all they can to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The breakfast is perfect and you have so many things to choose from and we didn’t get disappointed one time from what we had. The lunch and dinner menu is also great. The place is amazing and we have enjoyed the pool, the ocean, the sunsets and we released baby sea turtles two days in a row. We love the people, the food and the place. It was sad to leave you, but we will meet again 🫶
