About this house rental

Relax in a renovated design, comfortable and spotlessly clean, sleeps 8 people. Spacious open concept living room with fireplace, dining, and kitchen area, allowing enough space for a large family. 4K 55 in Roku TV with Netflix & Amazon and 42in TV in each bedroom. Propane grill and open deck with access to beautiful backyard and balcony overlooking woods surrounding the Shawnee Mountain.
Utility closets for ski gear or bicycle available upon request.
Fast WIFI and work desk for remote work.
Our townhouse is located just up the road from the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. Centrally located between Bushkill Falls and the Delaware National Recreation Area offering great hiking, biking, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. From Spring to Fall, easy access for kayak or canoe rentals. Numerous golf courses are located just minutes away. Between the historical town of Delaware Water Gap and Stroudsburg, a variety of restaurants, music venues, and boutique shops are waiting for you. Best of all, Shawnee is only 75 minutes west of NYC on Rte 80!

You are invited to take a break and enjoy our outdoor space. All around community grounds and directly in our backyard, peaceful setting for relaxing on the deck and listening to amazing sounds of nature. To complement, a propane grill is there for your enjoyment. If you’re more active and looking for longer hiking or water activities, we highly recommend the Delaware River, DWG National Recreation Area, Bushkill Falls, Hidden lake park, and trails, all just 5 to 10 minutes away. Kalahari, Aquatopia at Camelback and Gray Wolf water parks are just 30 minutes away. For adults, there are a number of wineries and breweries to visit, many offering special events with live music and entertainment.
Mount Airy Casino 35 minutes away, and for those who are looking for a designer shopping , Crossings Factory Outlets are only 25 minutes away. Supermarkets and restaurants are just over a mile away.
Our house is located in a family-oriented community not suitable for wild, loud parties; violators will be evicted without a refund.

We enjoyed our stay in the Poconos. The unit was as described, clean and well appointed. The owners were extremely responsive to any questions and provided helpful information at check in which was simple. The entrance was easily accessible for my elderly mother and the double handrails on the stairs were a helpful bonus. Overall a great stay.

We had a lovely time. The condo was as described, even a little better. Everything was clean and orderly and directions were clear. My family and I enjoyed our long weekend. The condo was the lovely place to come back to after running around adventuring all day. I would recommend this to anyone exploring the Pocono area!

The property was basically as described. It was a peaceful environment. The hosts’ response time was good when we had concerns. It’s not far from shopping and outlets. I would probably stay again. Oh, the beds were comfortable which was a plus. Washer and dryer in the unit was an added convenience. There was also a grill out back although we didn’t use it because it basically rained each day we were there. Overall a decent stay.

This was a very comfortable home with all the things we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Skiing is very close by and there were several local pubs/restaurants with good food nearby as well. I would definitely recommend this property and rent again.

IT IS INDEED A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, VERY CLOSE TO SHAWNEE MOUNTAIN WHICH WAS A DEAL BREAKER FOR US. CLOSE TO MAIN ROAD 209 AS WELL WHERE YOU HAVE SUPERMARKETS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS. APARTMENT IS SPACIOUS AND VERY CLEAN, KITCHEN WELL EQUIPPED. WE HAD A REALLY GREAT TIME AND FOR SURE WE WILL GO THERE AGAIN. THANK YOU JOLA AND TOM.

The property is very clean and well kept. The backyard has a fun woodsy setting. The beds were nice, and my five year old loved the bunk bed. We would love to stay again for a future outdoor outing trip!

The host made our lives very simple, we were visiting a school in Blairstown, NJ and I simply forgot to book a place for us to stay but the host here made it very simple for us. The property was exactly as it describes, clean and comfortable, to say the least. We plan on staying here again when we go back to Blairstown, very highly recommended stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located for easy access to fantastic hiking trails and fall foliage. Several good restaurants nearby. This was our third annual fall trip to the area. This was the best and we plan to return next year. I appreciated the timely reminders from Tom on some forms I missed

This townhouse was the perfect size with enough room to comfortably fit 6 adults. It was very cozy and immaculate. Furnishings are comfortable and modern. Kitchen is well equipped. The location is great; quiet, secluded, yet close to nearby attractions such as Shawnee Inn, ski resort, Delaware Water Gap, East Stroudsburg, and several restaurants. The owner is very responsive and answers immediately. Our purpose for going was to attend Family Weekend at ESU where our son attends as a freshman. Hopefully, looking forward to staying here as a family tradition.

We enjoyed our stay very much! I do wish some things (like the pool and restaurants) had been a little closer, the property is exactly as advertised. Plus there was a community playground that my kids loved. The pool at the nearby resort was perfect as well. PS - Keep an eye out for Sasquatch!

My wife and I decided to take a short trip to the Poconos July 4th weekend. Everything about the property was accurate as per the listing on VRBO. Before our check in the owners sent us messages about everything we needed for check in. During our 3 day stay we had no issues with anything. If we ever decide to head back to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Condo appears to be recently remodeled with new comfortable beds, couches, beautiful kitchen counters and floors. We did find a few dirty dishes in cabinets and wished for more kitchen towels, knives, and pots for cooking. Also, information on the "Associations" pool area would have been great. Loved the hummingbird feeder and wooded views off the back deck! Recommend Bushkills Falls hike which is a close drive. Overall, a lovely, pleasant stay.

This townhouse is updated, spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you need for a nice getaway to the pocono mountains. The property is in a development located directly across the main road from Shawnee Mountain Ski Area and it was great to be so close by. Tom and Jola are great hosts, they were very attentive and quick with responses to any questions. We would love to stay again the next time we return to the area.

This house was more than we expected! The space was perfect for our family, and the layout was great for 6 people to stay comfortably without feeling crowded. The complex is lovely and near many of the nearby attractions. We were there for a family wedding and had a fabulous weekend. We will definitely come back!

The location of this townhome was excellent! We saw lots of wildlife nearby, and it was peaceful sitting on the back porch in front of the forest. The Community is very quiet and peaceful also. The townhouse itself was clean and nice. The kitchen was well stocked, nice dining room table and living room furniture. All appliances, cookware, etc was provided. The beds were very comfortable. TVs were good for watching late night movies on Netflix. Only minor suggestion is to have a back up set of bedsheets as the master bedroom sheets are getting pretty worn out. We would stay here again!

This was such a nice stay. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and nothing stressful or breakable with our young children. It is located very near several amazing attractions (such as bushkill falls, Delaware gap recreational area, and the snake and animal farm) and had all the amenities we needed for a smooth stay. The hosts were very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area!

The property was very clean and updated. We especially liked that the beds were covered with duvets that could be washed in between guests. The layout is adorable and we had plenty of room with two adults and two children. I would just make a recommendation to other renters to bring extra paper towels since only one roll was provided. Also, there were no tissue boxes and I guess that is something my family uses so we ended up just buying our own. Otherwise, we were really happy and would definitely rent this place again.
