Magnifiek

Schitterend locatie met uitzicht op de zee Ruimte om t huisje heen en geeft je een goed gevoel van t ruige IJslandse landschap Faciliteiten van t huisje zijn meer dan toereikend, hygiënisch en ruimte is volop aanwezig. Meer geschikt voor 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen dan voor 6 volwassenen. 1 slaapkamer is aan de krappe kant. Centrale ligging tov hoofdstad en vliegveld. Service en vriendelijkheid van de eigenaren is geweldig.

Terras rondom is niet in beste staat en liggen lossen tegels. Huisje ligt in de buurt van de doorgaande weg welke je best wel hoort ‘s nachts. Zeker in de periode waar op spijkerbanden gereden wordt

Incredible views from living room windows in this comfortable slightly remote cabin

Beautiful views of the sea in this quiet property. It was a few hundred yards on an unmarked road after leaving the main road so might be difficult to see in the winter as unlit. Modern but characterful inside with loads of books and an excellent sound system. (no TV) Kitchen well equipped and beds extremely comfortable. Good blinds. Excellent for getting to airport (15mins) and Reykjavík (25 mins) and Golden Circle and South Coast easily reached within a couple of hours. We hired a car.

The hot water stopped working on our arrival day so we had cold showers although the owner tried to get a plumber asap.

Peace, quiet and relaxing. Gorgeous views. I imagine it would be very introspective to stay in winter.

The view was unmatched. Incredible. Definitely worth staying a little outside of town. Peaceful, quiet. We even saw a fox.

No television but solid internet connection. I actually loved that there wasn’t a tv but our little ones were looking :)

highly recommend - thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property.

Fantastic location - within easy reach of both the airports and city centre. Despite this, the setting felt quiet and secluded .

Bit of a mixup with the key on arrival, but to be fair it was quite quickly sorted out. Shower tray needs clearing as water was filling the tray very quickly..

Awesome find. Wonderful place to stay.

Ideal location, out of town and right next to the shore but close to the main sites. Only 15 minute drive to Reykjavik.

Nothing, it was perfect. I'd recommend a 4x4 vehicle due to gravel roads but not essential.

We had a fabulous weekend here with everything we wanted to get away from it all.

Access was easy using the key box code sent to us the day before including a video and photos of our route to the Cabin and how to open and lock the door. The cabin was perfect for our needs, very comfortable and with all accessories needed. There was no tv which we found very refreshing and resulted in us have some super social evenings. We even watched the aurora borealis from the comfort of the sitting room. Perfect.

The only down side of a wonderful stay was a smell in the small bedroom from the pipework which appears to enter and leave the property in this room. This didn't effect us however as we only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms.

Amazing property. We had such a great time. I can only recommend it.

Amazing property! Perfect for catching the northern light. Floor heating and fireplace kept us cosy all week despite the cold and windy weather. Beds are also super comfortable.

The back door was a bit difficult to open and the coffee machine is way too complicated to use.

Amazing location, modern, spacious building and the fireplace was a big hit with our group! We really enjoyed our stay and communication from the hosts was exceptional. A memorable stay and we look forward to returning in the future!

Living room furniture and rugs throughout the villa are quite worn. Some of the pots and pans could be replaced as well.

The house felt very comfortable. Well equipped accommodation including coffee machine, washer, dryer, sound bar and water dispenser. Endless supply of wood for a wood burner. Underfloor heating - amazing. Comfy beds. Great outdoors space and views. Very private location.

No freezer for ice.

Beautiful location, very approachable host who was open to suggestions for suture guests. amazing location for viewing the aurora borealis - we just pulled up a chair and watched out the window for hours

would benefit from a laundry basket to transfer laundry from washer/drier to put away

Wonderful place to stay.

The view was absolutely gorgeous. The home was beautiful with large windows and had a lovely patio in the back. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking breakfast and dinner in the evenings.

Exceptional

It's been perfect! The location ist great, you could even see the Northern Lights at night. The cabin is great, large windows, very good beds, dishwasher, De Longhi coffe Maschine ... the hosts are very responsive even late or on the weekend. It's been a perfect stay and I'll surely come back.

Great stay by the ocean

The cabin was great! Very close to Reykjavik and also the airport. And it's right by the sea, waking up to the ocean felt great. The cabin also has everything you need, the host was responsive and helpful. We had great time.

Perfect place for South West Iceland.

It is the perfect place, close to Reykjavik and Keflavik Airport - and actually the active volcano. Everything was there, beautifully furnished, the host was very friendly and cared a lot. The sea view was just awesome.

Stunning views

A beautiful house with stunning views. We used the house to work from while in quarantine. The wifi was great and the hosts picked up our groceries and already put them in the fridge. Absolutely worth the money. If you are planning to visit Reykjavik you have to take in account that it is a 20 minute easy drive to Reykjavik but when you get back in the cabin and take a look at the views you know it is worth the drive!

Exceptional

We spent our quarantine period upon our arrival in Iceland at this cabin by the sea. A truly worth it choice. A spacious cabin located in a remote and quiet area by the sea + close to Keflavik airport. The fireplace made our stay more warm too. We requested to buy some food and groceries for our 5-day stay and the hosts kindly delivered them to the accomodation. Highly recommended!

Superb

The location was amazing (ocean view, mountain view). The house was very spacious and we had cozy evenings by the fireplace. All facilities were great. Perfect gate-away!

The floor heating was very enjoyable, though it was a bit too high at night (making the air too hot and dry), and was not easily changeable.
