About this house rental
Situated on a handsome Victorian street in the leafy suburb of Highgate, the relentless pace of city life seems a world away at this irrepressibly stylish and relaxing four-bedroom home. And therein lies the charm. From its beguiling walled garden through to the reassuringly retro vibes of the living spaces, the home offers a consistently cultivated air of laidback refinement only a short hop from central London...
LIVING AREA
Unstinting in its flamboyant colour palette, this home’s uplifting design aesthetic is further underscored by a double reception room that fearlessly leans into contemporary mores whilst simultaneously accentuating the majestic period features that adorn this capacious living space. Creatively zoned to effortlessly meet the needs of modern living, this absorbing space is embellished by statement furniture and reclaimed wood floors.
KITCHEN
Exuberant honey hues help you start the morning bright in the inviting kitchen. A curved dining banquette and direct access to the convivial garden terrace further contributes to the cheerful ambience that pervades throughout this enticing open-plan space.
BEDROOMS
Ascend the stairs to find the bedrooms and bathrooms. Pastel tones permeate the light and airy principal bedroom suite, stately with its king-sized bed. Jovial jade hues, delicate parquet floors and a gracious piano serve up a melodious environment in which to catch some shut eye in the second bedroom. The mood of harmonious relaxation also transcends to the remaining bedrooms (worker bees will note that peaceful home office in the attic conversion bedroom...).
BATHROOM
The ensuite bathroom can be found on the first floor attached to the principal bedroom. It’s elegant and poised, centred around an indulgent roll-top bath and offering a shower, toilet and wash basin besides. On the top floor, you’ll find a separate WC and separate shower room. There is also a separate WC on the first floor.
GARDEN
The luscious walled garden adds a final layer of charm to this dreamy Highgate hideaway; your own little pocket of tranquility in this captivating enclave of north London. It’s all too easy to forget you’re no more than a quarter of an hour away from the thriving heart of the capital, although you wouldn’t sense it taking in the surrounds of this splendid suburban retreat...
WE LOVE
The soulful seventies vibes and playful colour scheme that can’t help but leave you feeling uplifted each time you cross the threshold of this effervescent family home.
Home Truths:
No smoking, pets and parties. One room (not pictured) will be locked with no guest access. The fourth bedroom (in the attic) now has one King-sized bed rather than the double bed pictured. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.
