Wonderful place to stay.

The house is absolutely beautiful. Freda met us when we arrived and immediately made us feel really welcome and at home. We were lucky enough to have a great room with a balcony and as the weather was good, it was lovely to sit out there. Freda left us plenty of food and drink in the fridge, which was an unexpected surprise. But even better were the warm croissants left on the door in the morning! The house is in a good location and there's parking just round the corner. Would thoroughly recommend staying here - wished we'd stayed 2 nights!

Historical home in a superb location.

The welcome from Freda on arrival was lovely. She took a bit of time to get to know us. The room was really comfortable and the self access breakfast arrangement worked brilliantly too.

Beautiful BnB in a beautiful town

Location was great, easy to get to; room was superb, very clean and extremely well presented; host was very friendly and gracious about my late checkout! Will definitely head back.

Home from home.

Beautiful house and room. Freda and housekeeper went above and beyond the whole trip. Lots of extras with the room, lovely comfortable bed and shower was nice and hot. Bella the dog loves fussing too

How lovely and pleasant it was !

L’accueil et le personnel, très chaleureux et de bons conseils - la chambre était décorée avec goût et le lit était vraiment confortable ! Le petit déjeuner est déjà prêt dans le mini frigo de la chambre, ce qui est super pratique. Les croissants frais sont déposés sur la porte au matin, top !

Excellent location, interesting building and a very comfortable, welcoming and peaceful place to stay. Highly recommende

Picturesque historic building in the town, easy to get to and beautifully decorated inside. The room was warm and comfortable, with everything one could need (including internet). Continental breakfast ready prepared was generous and tasty - and warm croissants in the doorknob in the morning! Really well appointed; ice machine, glasses and other accoutrements available in the hall and overall a very, very pleasant stay and a very good price too. Self check in is useful and a warm welcome was also received!

Great Comfort in Youghal

The location is great - at the end of one of the main streets of Youghal with the town centre in one direction and the beach in the other (very narrow street and footpath, so be careful!); the room was cozy, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern; the (cold) breakfast was very comprehensive - both in and on the fridge (even salmon and a variety of cheeses and fresh croissants in the morning among other things); kettle in the room and outside the room there were more things - glasses, variety of teas, coffee, even some toiletries available; this is a lovely old guest house and it is clear that the host takes great care to look after her guests to make sure that they want for nothing - highly recommended.

Sadly sometimes the signal from the TV disappeared for some time (very frustrating when you wanted to see the Ireland v Scotland rugby match etc); I detest those tiny washbasins (bathroom); my bed was a single one and the room was very small - although the room was nice, I can't help feeling a double room would have offered more space and I regret not requesting a room on a high floor (which I usually do) when booking as I felt so frustrated missing a view of the sea which a room on the above floor would have offered...

We would stay again if we are in the area.

Rooms are in a historic old house. Decorated very nicely. Freda was so kind. She left us wonderful food choices for breakfast. The fresh hot croissants in the morning were heavenly!

Superb

Lovely house with friendly host. Felt very welcome. Room was cleaned each day and bed was made. Provided fresh towels if needed. Fresh milk and juice was provided each morning along with fresh croissants.

there was very little i liked, i choose it for it's proximity to the Station.

Friendly, homely and great location.

I stayed in the studio and it was perfect for me. A small kitchen with everything I needed for a single night. The breakfast was really generous with cheese, cold meat, salmon, scones, bread and freshly baked croissants. Really clean and homely.

As stated in the description, the central location means there is no parking but there is street parking around the corner. It's free from 6pm to 9am so suited me as a business traveller. Close to the town centre.

Home away from home

I stayed there before and a absolutely love the place as it makes me feel special and at home. It’s cozy and well looked after. Very clean and has everything you need. Bonus is it is walking distance from my brother’s place and gives a lovely stroll either down the high street or via the beach.

Beautiful home in fabulous location

Beautiful house with modern rooms yet maintaining the original features. Freda was lovely and so welcoming. The continental breakfast in the fridge was a lovely feature.

Lovely stay

This place exceeded our expectations!

We loved staying here because the owner totally understands what people expect and love when they book a room! A friendly welcome, a beautiful room with a super comfy bed and pillows, nice furniture and decor. When we arrived there were snacks and things for breakfast already in the room and in the fridge! A French press for coffee! Not the instant stuff you get everywhere else. I loved this ... so I could get up and have breakfast in my room whenever I wanted. Fresh croissants were hung on the door, in the morning. That really was amazing. Highly recommended.

Perfect night stay in lovely B&B

Very spacious room with fireplace, four poster bed and modern bathroom. Fresh croissants left outside on door in the morning, such a lovely touch! Friendly host :)

An absolute gem of a place

Even though there was no breakfast advertised there was plenty in the room for us and in the morning there were two freshly bake croissants left outside our door

Super standard and location

Remarkable facilities, fridge packed with smoked salmon, ham, cheese, fresh milk, orange juice and bread, butter, scones, chocolate biscuits, particularly appreciated as I was on business and hadn't much time.....not to mention the fresh crossants delivered outside the door in the morning Freeda and Bella do a super job in keeping evrything ticking over....

The bed was comfortable but the breakfast was a joke

When we booked back in March we book for bed and breakfast but we got two Croissant in bag hanging on the door this was not advertised on the site so very miss leading for I night stay for at 130 euro for a night stay with no breakfast or breakfast u made yourself is very expensive. Maximum cost of two Croissant is 6 euro
