Fantastic family holiday. Apartment and resort are both amazing. Will definitely be returning!
Denise, the host, was super helpful with lots of information prior to our holiday and responded to email queries quickly and just made the whole process really easy - thank you 😊

We have stayed in Les Arcs 1950 a few times ans this is by far the best apartment we have stayed in. The split level makes it feel very spacious. Access to sauna, steam room great for weary adult legs and swimming pool enjoyed by the kids!
Apartment had everything we needed and lovely hot showers. We loved it!
Block is right next to the boulangerie and you can order bread for collection first thing. Also opposite the supermarket. Top tip - book restaurants when you arrive if you want to eat out, especially for the end of the week.

Well equipped apartment and very clean in a good location of village. Only downside is it’s difficult to ski in or out without a bit of walking
As the locker room is set lower than the ski and walkway runs. However can not fault the apartment itself.

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Well equipped and in a great ski in ski out location. We travelled with a 3 and 6 year old and Les arcs 1950 was perfect for that - no buses, no long walks, everything within 50m which was perfect for little kids and us

Easter Skiing
Les Arcs 1950 is the perfect venue. Pretty, compact with everything you need within a short walk including a well-stocked supermarket, cafes, bars and ski hire. Most importantly we were able to ski in and out, even this late in the season. The apartment is located within Prince de Cimes which has the feel of a luxury and well-run hotel. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
The apartment is lovely - everything you would need with a lovely view over the rooves to the mountains. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful apartment and a perfect location
Great size 2 bed apartment, perfect for 2 adults and a child. Communication with the owner was excellent. There was a well equipment kitchen and the apartment was close to the supermarket. WiFi and Smart TV were great and the beds very comfortable. We would definitely like to return again soon.

This was a very nice week in Les Arcs 1950 and the appartment is really good. The apartment is as described, perfectly equipped, spacious and very well located. You have everything you need at less than 100 meters from the resort (bakery, Ski school, supermarket, cash dispenser, restaurants, direct access to Arc 2000 with Cabriolet lift, parking with direct access to the residence). We knew the Arcs ski resort from previous holidays and it is definitely a good spot. Many slopes, for every level, possibility to join La Plagne resort, south exposition with sun all day long on almost every slopes, splendid view on Mont Blanc and some nice restaurants. We had a very good time and Denise's flat is a nice place to be. We were lucky though since the resort closed when we left due to Covid-19.

Beautiful apartment
Very well maintained. Spacious.

A good size 2 bed apartment, ideal for my family of 4 adults.
Communication with the owner was excellent.
Very well equipped kitchen although the small worktop could not facilitate all the equipment.
Apartment does suffer from noise from the lifts and we did find the seating rather uncomfortable in the lounge. Smart TV was great.

Great skiing and wonderful appartment
Fantastic apartment, perfectly situated so you can ski in and ski out. Comfy and cosy. Had an awesome stay. Clean and tidy. Easy access to a great bakery to get breakfast in the morning. Will definitely come back!

Everything we wanted and more
Fantastic apartment we will definitely be returning! The facilities are brilliant, ski in ski out and a pool and spa area all within our building. Spacious living area and a very well equipped kitchen, we ate in every night and had everything we needed for cooking. We requested a cot and high chair as we travelled with our 10 month baby, both were excellent condition and the staff in reception went above and beyond to help us, they even lent us a baby sledge for the week at no charge. The bakery is a stones throw from the apartment, close enough to pop down in your pyjamas! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

This is a great apartment....
Very spacious living area, well equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping areas... well located in Prince de comes, with access to the pool and sauna. Recommend this for families or for groups of friends.

Great apartment, fully equipped
The property is very well situated, in the center of the village. The appartment is fully equipped, I couldn't tell anything missing. And cherry on the cake, the owner is very nice and responds very quickly to any demand.

Very good apartment with two bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. Bakery and supermarket nearby and ski in ski out. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Outstanding
This is the 4th time We stay at Les Arcs and 3rd at 1950 which is our favorite, By far this accommodation at Cimes is the best one, very comfortable, very clean which is very important for us, ski in / ski out and amazing facilities..
Guest support before our stay was excellent, during our stay one of our kids got sick and the support received from the staff was very professional..
We will definitely opt to stay at this accommodation next year..
Last day we were out skiing for nearly 8 hours and hardly repeated trails the place is massive..

Fantastic Apartment
Our family have stayed in the resort twice before and knew the area well. When booking direct with the owner rather than an agent it was an easy process.
The owner was very friendly and responsive with all communication, kept us in the loop of what was going on and offered lots of hints and tips such as how to save money on lift passes.
The owner was very understanding that we were travelling with a young toddler and also made accommodations to ease our stay. Things such as providing little essentials such s a high chair which made all the difference.
The owner also was extremely helpful to allow for flexible arrival and departure times (of course this is dependant on the next guest arrivals) which eased our stay a huge amount due to late departure home.
The apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean and well presented, everything you would expect from a 5 star resort and apartment. Rooms with amazing views, honestly - what more could you ask for? This is an amazing apartment!

Perfect place for a family ski week!
This was the first time visiting Les Arcs (from Australia) for us and we feel that we booked into the perfect place for our family (2 parents and 3 teenage girls).
The convenience of the village and the ski-in-ski-out set up was key for us booking here and we weren't disappointed in anyway with this apartment or Les Arcs 1950.
Denise is a great host and was very helpful leading up to our stay. Her place is clean and well equipped for a weeks stay. It really ended up feeling like home. Denise obviously loves her place and has passionately put in a lot of work setting it up and taking care of those "little things" that make a place feel special. After spending 4 weeks in and out of hotels around Europe it was so good to arrive somewhere that doesn't feel corporate and joyless.
Unfortunately half the family arrived in Les Arcs with a nasty cold and one had tonsillitis so some spent more time indoors than we had planned. It was at this time that we were so appreciative of where we had booked. A test of accomodation is how it feels when someone is unwell and this place was clean and very comfortable for those getting their strength back.
The living area comfortably fit everyone at night and we ended up cooking 6 nights out of 7. Hooray for the dishwasher and a well fitted out kitchen, not always the case in apartments like this.
The supermarket and bakery are a few steps from the front door and are well equipped and quite reasonably priced.
The building itself is not brand new anymore but it felt like the upkeep was very good. The pool area was nice and eventually we enjoyed some time in the spa when it was snowing, which was quite a novelty for the family.
The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and it was nice to come back there after a days skiing.
If we return to Les Arcs, the first thing I would do would be contact Denise and book this place again...no hesitation, we loved it!
Thanks again for all your help and friendly communication Denise.
PS - Les Arcs is a brillant place to ski, I wish I was still there!

Cozy apartment
The apartment is warm and cozy and wifi is excellent. The village provides a beautiful environment, unique in the area. Supermarket , shops and restaurants are all within a few meters . Gear can be hired in the building. Skying starts right from the front door. Only area for improvement is the swimming pool, which is a bit on the cold side and could do with some refurbishment.
4.8
Excellent location, nice apartment, public areas a bit ageing
Excellent location, Arcs 1950 is very picturesque. Nice, cozy, apartment. The public areas show the building has been in use for some time (like some London hotels or pubs - maybe it is a bit of an English style). Swimming pool is quite cold and somewhat spartan. Nice that you can swim outside, but probably they should heat it up a bit more, or separate the inside and outside pools and refurbish the pool area.

Good size apartment, would fit 6 adults and 2 children comfortably, home away from home.
6th time we have stayed in this resort, the apartment has everything you need for self catering including sharp knives which is a bonus, you can ski back to the door of the locker room . It was a very comfortable and warm apartment plenty of room as we were a party of 3 adults and two 9 year old boys on this trip. This is a great resort for everyone, lots to do for children from skiing , sledging swimming and bowling in Arc 2000 which is the reason for returning with our grandchildren.
Will definitely be back as this is a great ski area for all abilities, and would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Top Notch Ski Trip
Apartment is clean, comfortable and quiet with a well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. Ski to and from the door for added convenience.
Les Arcs has plenty of skiing for all abilities. Aiguille Rouge, the unpisted Malgovert and tree-lined reds above Vallandry particular highlights. Local lift pass includes one trip over to La Plagne so don't get the Paradiski lift pass unless you plan on going over there more than once.
Arc 1950 is a small, traffic free resort with three bars and enough restaurants to go to a different one each night if you wish. Plus a spa if you've bashed enough moguls !

Amazing place and fantastic for advanced skiers
Loved everything about this place. Spend New Year in the village square. What a fantastic night. The village is so pretty. Would love to go back.
4.8
Excellent summer walking
Very good well equipped apartment with views of Mont Blanc and the lively village square. The swimming pool, sauna steam room were never too crowded, just what was needed after a long day walking.
Many excellent walks from the door, or up one of the lifts. All levels of walking available from gentle strolls from the lift or bus to full day mountain hikes. We averaged 16Km with around 700m of ascent.
Paradise for the flower-lover, although a little earlier in the season might be even better. For the geeks, fragrant orchids, black vanilla orchid, frog orchid, martagon lily and globeflower were among the more unusual.
I'm not a skier, but this is perfect for summer walking.

A home from home in a glorious setting
The property was well-maintained, spacious, very well equipped and perfectly positioned - we immediately felt at home and comfortable. The owner was very helpful, easy to communicate with and appeared very keen that we should enjoy our stay. We enjoyed getting our croissants from the next-door bakery and the swimming pool was a great boon for the children. Les Arcs 1950 is a pretty, family-friendly village with all amenities. The snow was excellent (we heard that other resorts were not so fortunate) and the skiing extensive and varied. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our holiday and I would most definitely recommend this property. I hope to go back again!
