Amazing place to stay and the views were spectacular

It was such a beautiful place to stay at would 100% stay here again and have recommended to friends and family who visit the area regularly. The welcome basket/milk and stuff was fab:)

We were made very welcome and were exceptionally comfortable in the house. Fantastic location.

We loved the location, the warm welcome and the lovely welcome basket, the very generous room sizes, the decor, the kitchen and all the equipment in there, the friendly, helpful and lovely hosts, and the sheep!

we had the most amazing stay at Glenshane country house. The accommodation had everything we could possibly need and we really appreciated the personal touches. The welcome basket of treats with was soo lovely. everything was soo clean and neat and in an immaculate condition. we will definitely be back again.

OK but could have been better

The views are splendid, and the house was clean, plenty of space, easy (mostly) to find and to operate. You need a car, though, as there is nothing within walking distance except fields. We had someone nearby who took us shopping, to the bus stop, etc. so it was OK, but if you don't, you need to budget a car hire.

The front door handle kept falling off. The owner was supposed to come and fix it, but didn't. The electricity tripped because the toaster wasn't working properly. The owner came over and said that sometimes happened. We found the fuse box (two meters above floor level), but stopped using the toaster. The coffee machines didn't work properly either. Given the price, we would have expected better. And finally, we decided to leave a day earlier, informed the owner before arriving, but no offer of compensation was made.

Clean, spacious, accomodation with outstanding views. We'll equipped kitchen. Bedrooms huge and all three very picturesque. Sitting room has excellent seating accommodation, but still manages to convey a warm cosy atmosphere with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The owners were friendly and helpful.

A bit out of the way with narrow roads. No local amenities. You definitely require a car as there is no public transport.

Amazing & highly recommend

The house was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We were staying for my best friends hen and the owners couldn’t do anymore for us. Cupcakes and Prosecco on arrival and they even called by to see if everything was ok. Amazing and will definitely be staying again!

A scenic, spacious and beautiful property.

Booked this property for myself and my bridesmaids the night before my wedding. It was perfect, the facilities were great, the house is very spacious for us getting ready in the morning. The views were absolutely spectacular and it was very quiet at night for a great nights sleep. When the owners realised it was the night before my wedding, they came back the next morning with a bottle of Prosecco and a card, it was so kind! It was also very easy to find and well sign posted. Could not recommend this property enough, it would be perfect for any occasion.

Amazing. Have rebooked already! Wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else after staying at Glenshane

everything! it was beautiful. very well stocked with supplies to make you feel comfortable when away from home. Very thoughtful welcome gifts also. House was lovely and clean. High quality furniture and soft furnishings throughout. Beautiful decor. ample parking. Very accommodating and welcoming hosts.

Amazing house

Stunning house in a beautiful location. Fully equipped, had everything and more that we needed for our stay. Beds were so comfortable! Hosts were fantastic, really welcoming, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends, can't wait to return!

Amazing!

Myself and a few friends stayed here for the weekend! It is beautiful, very clean and spacious! We didn’t need to leave once all weekend! We would definitely recommend and will definitely be back soon! The host are very friendly aswell! Was a pleasure

An amazing getaway in a beautiful location!!

Me and my family stayed here over the New year and it was fantastic!! We where met at the property by the host who was very friendly and welcoming, and had the gorgeous log fire lit for our arrival. We where also given a beautiful basket full of local goodies to get us started. The house is spectacular both inside and out. The views of the mountains and countryside are amazing and it was so peaceful. I would highly recommend this property to everyone and I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality at Glenshane Country House.
