Delightful hosts and a perfect 2 night stay

Outstanding in every way. Elizabeth Ann and Norman were the perfect hosts and made our visit very special indeed. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, breakfast was exceptional, as were the little afternoon treats, and our conversations just delightful.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike, our stay couldn't have been better. We will return.

Stayed one night whilst visiting family & left having been made to feel like family there too.

What a find. Our lovely host Elizabeth Ann looked after us and made us feel so welcome. Nothing too much trouble for this lovely warm, friendly lady. Superb breakfast (fit for a King) served by our host & ‘Butler’ Norman. Local and homemade products 😋😋 Cannot but recommend, a jewel of a find.

Very enjoyable overnight stay in lovely house with welcoming host

Breakfast excellent quality ingredients, very well cooked Wonderful host, made us coffee and home made scones on arrival and left shortbread for our room, lovely welcome and made suggestions Good quality furniture and linen in bedroom, bed very comfortable Good quality toiletries in bathroom

Had a separate bathroom across the landing, which was private to us but we are used to an ensuite and were very conscious of disturbing other guest during the night - shower pretty weak No TV, which was fine but would have liked the choice - there was a radio Location absolutely fine for us but you would need a car

Elizabeth Ann is a wonderful host and makes you feel like an old friend when you arrive.

The breakfast was superb. Fruit and yogurt, cereal, large cooked breakfast and as much toast, local honey and preserves as you can eat.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Elizabeth Ann is a perfect host and Scaurbridge House is a beautiful place. The decor is a perfect combination of traditional and modern styles, and rooms are spacious and cosy. My husband and I stayed there before our wedding. It was a wonderful experience. Elizabeth Ann ensured that our stay (and the day of the wedding) was absolutely perfect. We felt welcomed and nothing was a problem. Elizabeth Ann even surprised us with a lovely card and a bouquet of my favourite flowers on the day of our wedding! Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect.

Had a lovely stay with lovely host ,great breakfast & comfortable spacious period accomodation.

had a lovely stay & Elizabeth was superb host & made sure all was satsfactory.The period house is very comfortable & spacious with quiet relaxed atmosphere....very different from the city hotels & stopovers :)

Was expecting an en-suite room,but had my own private bathroom on the landing.Worked out fine,just not what i was expecting.

The house had character and our host was a very kind hospitable lady who made sure we had all we nee

Breakfast was exactly what we wanted. Cooked while we waited. We were also served fresh orange juice, tea, toast. We were a few miles from where we spent the 3 days which was very convenient.

We would have preferred our bedroom was ensuite but being a period type house we understood the design of the rooms.

Great breakfast, cooked exactly to how I like. Was given what I asked for and offered more if needed. The location was fantastic out in the countryside away from a busy place and nice and quiet. Scenery was perfect along with the view.

Highly recommend!

The area is great, very relaxing and tranquil. The house is so special, with a lovely garden. Fabulous breakfast - really can’t say enough about the amazing freshly baked scones, homemade jam, locally sourced bacon and eggs… just phenomenal. And what can we say about our hostess Mrs Hughes other than she was incredibly kind, hospitable and great to talk to. Thank you for the lovely time.
