The view is a 10. This, and the spacious size of the unit are the best things. Also centrally located to good restaurants.
Check in: The keys are in Sirrolo, and you're given a ring with seven unmarked keys. Because SURE to read the instructions on how to locate the unit once you get to the piazza--it is not obvious. One key is for the outer door (large square). One (small, round) is for the elevator, which goes to 4th floor; unit is on 5th. Elevator key sometimes doesn't work easily. There are 115 steps. One (red casing) is for the outer door on the 5th floor. One (small square) is for the apartment door.
This is a rental, but doesn't provide some of the nice touches or extras often offered in vacation rentals. You have to be prepared to buy supplies. (Coal market is a walkable nearby solution). Fued is a large property management company with hundreds of properties, so there is no personal touch. You are given a sponge and dish liquid, a small 2-inch bar of soap, and a tiny roll of toilet paper. There is no extra TP. There is a Bialetti style mocha pot but but no coffee. No hair dryer. No microwave. No bath mat. No kitchen towel. Sheets for bed and sofa bed, but only a couple dirty-looking blankets if you need more. The TV doesn't work. No cooking oil, salt or pepper. Water pressure spotty in shower. No internet, as advertised. Parking lot name translates incorrectly into English on instruction sheet. Look for Parcheggio via Avellaneda.
One last thing--the office manager said the beach is just a few steps away. It is 250 stairs down, so if you have mobility problems, this might not be the place for you.
