About this farm stay rental

Newly remodeled Farmhouse on a working goat farm. The rental does not include access to the Barn or farm land. Visiting Lynchburg? This is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy quiet country living. The property is tucked into a secluded country hollow and does not have any visible neighbors. Includes a large porch with a swing. Located 7 miles from Jack Daniel's and Downtown Lynchburg Tennessee.
Cottage is located on 17 acre goat farm. It has all the charm of country living. Enjoy a glass of wine or sweet tea in the porch swing while watching the kids chase lightening bugs in the yard or enjoy a good book snuggled in front of the fireplace on those chilly nights. The area is rural. WiFi is DSL (AT&T) and TV is Direct TV.
Cottage is located outside Lynchburg Tennessee. Close proximity to Bell Buckle Tennessee, Bonnaroo, Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration, Tims Ford Lake, and George Dickel Distillery. Close enough to visit Nashville or Huntsville Alabama.
Please do not disturb the working goat farm. Help yourself to the fresh eggs that are kept in the refrigerator when available.
No work crews please. The cottage is designed for vacationing residents.
Limit two potty trained pets allowed, no exceptions. **Note: Aphids (ladybugs) are invasive this year so you may see them inside the cottage. They are harmless, but we are constantly having to vacuum them in order to remove them. Exterminator cannot do much when it comes to flying insect.

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate my spouse’s birthday. Toured the Jack Daniels distillery, ate BBQ and shopped in Lynchburg. Sunday we hiked in Tom Ford State Park, highly recommended. Saturday night we enjoyed admiring the stars fr the front porch and viewed the haze of the Milky Way, Sagittarius, and the Big Dipper.

This property exceeded our expectations. It is so charming and cozy. The attention the every detail. Makes you feel at home. Fully stocked with everything you could need. It was so clean. The goats were amazing to be by and so were the two dogs who are so sweet. We had family come Visit and were blown away but how cute it is. We will definitely be coming back.

From the very first moment we pulled up to the Farmhouse it felt like we were home. And then we walked through the front door and we were home. This house unknowingly became a reality to my Fiancé and I of we want to come home to every day. Your Farmhouse has been etched into our hearts and minds forever. We will be back to enjoy the sweet and peaceful mornings. And the calm and cool nights. From each and every sweet and thoughtful detail to the sweet dogs outside it has been like being in a dream. The southern hospitality and the effortlessness of the booking was amazing. If you want a cozy country feel then this is the place for you. Thank you Flossie and Sissy for making us feel at home.

My wife and I stayed here for one night, after we visited the Jack Daniel's Distillery. The cottage was even better in person. It was quiet, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to other friends interested in the same trip.

This house is is SO cute and cozy.it is by itself in the country but still close to Lynchburg. The bed slept good and everything was clean. I loved the fireplace. Plenty of linens were provided. I can’t say enough about this place. It is a rare gem. We come to Lynchburg every year and I wished we would have found this sooner. We will definitely stay again!

My husband, mom-in-law, and I absolutely love the country cottage!! The pictures are accurate and the cottage is even more beautiful in person. The cottage has such a cozy vibe. We sat outside on the huge porch. It is so quiet, relaxing and has a nice view of the countryside. We also enjoyed sitting on the very comfortable couches with the warm fireplace on. A nice tv and no issues with WiFi. I would love to live in this house! This is one of the best Vrbo's I have stayed at. It has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Very easy communication and check-in/check-out. It is close to Lynchburg. When we are traveling through Tennessee again, we will definitely stay here! We loved everything about our stay.

Words can’t describe the feeling you feel when you walk into this home. We all wish we would have planned to stay longer. Its like walking into the past but having all the conveniences of today. We are already planning to go back. I would move there if the owner would let me. They left farm fresh eggs for us to have too. We can’t express enough how much we enjoyed our stay!

Check in was easy. House was clean. Breakfast supplies were available--fresh eggs, waffles and biscuits. We did not eat anything because we didn't expect food to be available. That was a great surprise. The decor is excellent, beds and pillows were outstanding. Can't wait to visit with my wife--she will love it. Even the dog and puppies who I assume were guarding the goats were welcoming. This is a true jewel.

The property is a little secluded however very accessible. The home is rustic modern, very clean and beautiful. Me and my family had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable vacation here. Highly recommend and honestly would always attempt to go back to the same location when visiting in Tennessee.

We had a wonderful too short stay. Everything was perfect and comfortable. Our only complaint was it was only one night. We didn't get in till almost dark. Will definitely book again if in area. What a great rebuild you did!

Perfect little farmhouse situated right across a beautiful creek. Very peaceful and quiet. Easy drive into Lynchburg Fayetteville or Shelbyville. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway in this general area. I’ll be booking here again for sure!

Stayed here for a weekend trip in Lincoln and Giles county and absolutely loved it. Woke up to fresh farm eggs daily, warm fireplace at the push of a button on the remote. The wrap around porch didn't get used as much as we would have liked due to cold weather. We will return here to give the porch another shot, loved the house

The Cottage, Property & Owner Communication were top notch w/High Quality Accommodations - So for a Super Comfy Quiet Country Cottage Home Away From Home Experience… This is it! We have family in the area & when they popped by or picked us up EVERY single person (Male or Female) stated “I could live here!” -or- “I’d like to buy this place right now!” It was just me and my husband so we only accessed the main floor & outside areas for our stay… but this cottage was just what we were looking for to decompress for well deserved R&R.

If you want a relaxing stay while in the Lynchburg area this place is it. This home has everything you need including eggs for breakfast. We enjoyed getting up in the mornings sitting on the porch swing listening to the goats, sheep and dogs. It was so peaceful. We even got to see some deer. My husband has always wanted to go see the Jack Daniels Distillery and I am not really into that so I wanted a quiet space to unwind while kid-free. We had friends join us and this amazing peaceful space was everything we needed and more, The goat sounds were so much fun and never annoying or disruptive. We felt safe and secure knowing the owners were coming by regularly for their care. If anything were to go wrong we could easily get a hold of them. We had such a blast at the distillery which wasn’t a far drive. We had a rainy weekend so unfortunately didn’t get to use the grill or the fire pit. However, we enjoyed meals, games and laughs around the table. The kitchen is fully stocked we had everything we needed. There were even eggs and condiments and things others had left that were helpful. My favorite spot in the house was the porch swing at sun rise. Enjoying my morning coffee there was the best! Thank you for sharing your amazing space with us.

We were greeted by deer and rabbits every morning. Stayed outside of Lynchburg TN on a goat farm. The place was quiet and peaceful. The house was clean, and managed well. We enjoyed it, and will probably go back some day.
