I’m very disappointed with this cabin. It was very dirty! The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. Living room had dog hair all over the rug! Thought this was no pets allowed? Dropped phone behind couch and found loads of dust and dirt. The first bedroom by the down stairs bedroom was okay until something you looked under the bunk beds and there were crumbs and loads of dust. The second bedroom had crumbs in the bed and dog hair! The upstairs bed off to the right had a legit brown stain! It looked like someone spilled coffee or soda on it! The upstairs bathroom had dead bugs and black hairs in the shower! The amount of spider webs in this house was ridiculous. The family room was covered in dog hair! We completely felt gross when we left. The hot tub cover was broken and the cover to the filter was missing. Other than that, it was very spacious and had plenty of sleeping space. Very close to the lake.

My friend and I visited for the weekend and had a really nice time! The place was clean and had plenty of space. Can’t wait to go back with a big group.
A couple things were not ideal, but not major. We couldn’t get the fireplace to work upstairs. We ultimately ended up using the base board heat and it was fine. I picked up the coffee pot carafe and the handle broke off. The fire pit was great, but it’d be nice if they had a fire poker or something to help the manage the fire. The plumbing in the bathroom upstairs needs attention. We had to plunge the toilet every.single.use. It was a little frustrating.

Was very roomy, wish had a cover over the hot tub to use it more. Pretty clean did have hair in drain in shower. The games that were provided were incomplete and a mess but had just two nights didn't have much time.

Positives: ample parking, super peaceful, plenty of places to sleep
Negatives: uncomfortable beds, lots of small bugs that bite (inside of home too)

Nice house. We enjoyed our stay. A few broken things: The grill ignite button was broken on our arrival. The hot tub was shoring error code FL1 on our arrival. The hot tub pad lock strap was broken on our arrival. We called within the first hour of arrival to report the hot tub issue requesting someone come out and fix it- no one did.

The cabin was wonderful!!
The location is great with a private beach access in the community. Couple of hiccups the fridge was lagging the whole time with very little food inside it, at one point the freezer leaked and there was a large puddle of water in front of it. The family room was UNBEARABLY HOT! There is 2 large fans n this room but it’s not enough to cool it down and 2/4 of the windows in this room don’t have screens, this is also the TV room and it is just too hot to spend anytime in there at all, it needs to have a portable AC unit or window unit installed.

Cozy Winter Gathering
My family gathered to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday. We went snow tubing, and had a great time! The Lazy Bear cabin’s decor gave a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The gas fireplace and great room are a cozy space where we relaxed and enjoyed the warmth, comfortable furniture and thoughtfully prepared atmosphere. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The hot tub was a great indulgence during a cold winter weekend. I had a question, and the Vacasa management answered in 20 minutes. Head’s up to the “no winter maintenance/ 4-wheel drive,” as one vehicle in our group had some trouble leaving due to snow squalls, and the property’s walkways were not cleared of snow and ice as stated in the property description. With the proper vehicles and footwear, property access was no problem.

Weekend with family
We had a good time and the house had plenty of space. I felt that it could have been a little cleaner (ceiling fans / silver ware / drawers/ bathroom exhaust fan). The large coffee pot didn't work and over-flowed and needs replaced. Light bulbs out all over the house which was frustrating. Nice house though, and we enjoyed our time.

Lazy Bear Lodge Stay
We loved the peacefulness of the area. The home was very accommodating. Have no complaints other than the screened in porch that was lovely and needs a deep cleaning. Also, some new cookware would be nice and added cooking utensils are needed. It really is a nice place to stay and I would do it again.

Enjoyable stay
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would have liked a little more light in the 2 sitting areas. We did spend a lot of time out on the screened pouch. We had no trouble finding the place or getting in. Everything was setup nicely when we got there.

Lazy Bear Cabin
I totally enjoyed my stay!! It was fantastic!! The cabin was amazing!!
The employees were wonderful!!! So willing and kind to come show us how to get the fireplace going!!
So, if I have to say something to improve on, this is it:. I think they should window coverings ( drapes, blinds) for the upstair's rooms. People an see right into the 2nd story rooms, especial with the lights on in the evening.
I will stay/book again this
Cabin!! I totally give this place, vbro and employees the highest marks?

Great Getaway!
The cabin was secluded and just far enough out to feel like we were alone. We enjoyed the firepit, hot tub, and foosball table (Unexpectedly). Would certainly recommend booking!

Great weekend getaway
This property is wonderful. It was very clean and equipped with everything one would need while away. The upstairs loft is super cozy and the hot tub was great after a day of hiking. There was a slight issue with one of the toilets but the property manager was responsive and quick to solve the issue. Overall it’s a great property and we would definitely stay here again!

Not completely satisfied
Upon arrival the steps were extremely icy, don’t get me wrong I understand it was a snow storm however, I think the property should have been better treated for these conditions! No rock salt or shoveling was done....... Trying to enter was a hassle!! We had to contact several agents to get the code reset(while waiting outside in the freezing cold)...Once we entered the house it was also freezing cold!! Took about an hour for the heat to warm up the house, on top of that the fireplace was not working either that made a miserable first night! However I called about my complaints and they were handled the next morning!! We had a nice time after that despite the limited activities because of the snow!! One slight recommendation would be to put the hot tub on the deck(I would have felt way more safe there because it was a very nice hot tub)..

Great place to stay
The house was great and had all amenities necessary to enjoy our stay. The only problem was the ice and snow; two of the people in my party actually slipped and fell on the steps b/c the ice was so bad and hadn't been removed or had any ice melt laid over it. We really enjoyed the hot tub, but again with the ice on the lock box it was really hard to access the key initially. Overall, everything else was great and we've already talked about booking again for the warmer months.

Great weekend getaway
A very clean, cozy, spacious, and comfortable home perfect for a weekend getaway! We were a party of 8 with 4 teenage boys who were entertained the entire time! Very convenient place not too far from the Wisp resort for great skiing and Shallow Falls River State park perfect for hiking and enjoying nature’s beauty! I would highly recommend!

Quaint and Quiet
Quiet and scenic cabin with lots places near by to explore and find fun activities. The silverware and some dishes in the house weren’t well cleaned and the house was hard to keep at a good, comfortable temperature. Other than that, the house was/is a great place to stay. We enjoyed our visit.

GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILY VACATION
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Bear! We are a family of six and while we did plan to enjoy some of what Deep Creek offers, we also intended to spend a lot of time at the house, and this did not disappoint. My kids loved the fooseball tables and games... and having Netflix and Disney+ was awesome. We also brought all our bikes. While the hills were challenging, from the 12 year old to the 4 year old they loved riding on the gravel roads. Times around the fire pit and in the hot tub were really great also. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable holiday
We had a good time for the holiday. The heat/thermostat made the house very cold. We weren’t able to use the grill and because the weather was wet the wood and beaches prevented us from lighting a good fire. We were disappointed that we couldn’t use the hot tub and other things we went there to use. Maybe we need to try a winter getaway when everything is accessible.

Clean and well appointed.
The property was clean on the inside and very comfortable. Loved the screened in deck. Had a bit of an issue with figuring out how to use the Nest thermostat, instructions may be helpful.
Loved the hot tub, clean and worked well. Lots of plates and glasses and pans. Not a lot of space for pantry items.

Girl's Weekend
Gave it a 5 stars. Overall we loved it and everything we expected. Very cozy, comfortable, plenty of room and space. Few suggestions...more then one dish rag / towel for kitchen. Available bag of salt for winter months for steps. Hooks or somewhere outside to hang towels etc for hot tub use. Little disappointed the fireplace in main living room didn't work, but not a deal breaker, would definitely stay here again!!!

very cozy!
After a long hike we found the beds to very comfortable and clean! The place was spacious and tidy! It was great for cooking indoors, grilling outdoors, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We also enjoyed the board games in the entertainment area, as well as the enclosed porch for dining outside(away from bugs at last!).The jacuzzi is very modern and well kept, we loved it!
Also, the towel/ tolietries amenitites were a nice touch! Would stay here again!

Great Stay
This cabin was so great. We could enjoy the campfire at the firepit area. There are eating space outside with net and so that we can enjoy BBQ outside without any insect. That's an awesome idea!
Just one thing to a next customer... I think we need long lighter or something to start the grill so you may have to bring it if you plan BBQ here.
