Remote area, completely in nature, surrounded by a river, trees, bird singing. Surprisingly no mosquitos! Awesome
Gamn the ladyboss is very helpful and lovely in making sure you will have a remarkable stay.

We arrived on Koh Chang and headed straight to the east side. To Homebar.
The locals at the pier told us “oh we never go to the east side with taxi”. When we arrived he got out of the car laughing. We immediately knew this was GOOD!
We travel to get away from it all and explore the unknown.
Chang is a lovely host. Although we arrived early she greeted us with coffee and bananas and we hung out with the dogs olive and French fry as she got everything ready.
The beautiful home provides such an amazing experience.
We slept with all the doors and windows open and the jungle is just as active as you’d expect it to be.
Yes there are bugs and geckos and even a cute bat living nearby.
The home was very clean, the bathroom very easy to use and the cold water was refreshing after the hot days.
The creek behind the house we used to play around and cool off.
We rented a scooter from Chang and spent our days exploring.
It was a wonderful stay.
Things to note:
No mirror (shouldn’t be a big deal)
No hot water (it’s healthy)
Some bugs (net around the bed)
Hidden and secluded (you need to know what you are looking for)
Nothing we did not like.

loved how it was in the jungle but close to other things by scooter! Kang’s breakfasts and cooking were also great and she made us feel so welcome!
Loud animals at night but that can’t be helped as in the jungle!

It’s very close to nature. There’s a creek behind the property where you can take a dip and walk. Very peaceful and rustic. It allows you to explore the east side of the island (however it’s about 30 minutes scooter drive to Long Beach). The food was very good.
The property is a bit messy. It would look a lot more inviting with some clutter out of the way and sight. The seating/dining area could also be a little more organized. The room also needs a bit of care. Better curtains and bedding and especially a door separating the bathroom from the actual room instead of a plastic curtain.

Awesome place if you want to get away from the busy West side of the island and relax in the Jungle! Kong is a wonderful host and great cook. Was planning on staying 1 night and ended up staying 5. Already looking forward to my next visit

Kan makes the best curry ever 😉. I am not jocking!
Olive and french fries her dogs are lovely and super soft. A little river pass near by for a quick deep. It's a little peace of heaven.

Beautiful location and Kang is an amazing cook! Stayed here 3 nights but easily could have stayed longer .
The one person bedroom is in the main house and quite big. Good matress.
Nothing really. Good value for the money

A blissful retreat 1.5km from the road. Kang is a wonderful host and can cook many dishes (stir-fries, curries, soups). I had the bungalow and it had everything you could want.
The long driveway is unlit, winding and has some deep potholes. Motorcycles can dodge them and off-road (4x4) cars can handle them but my little saloon banged into them many times and I need to visit the garage to see if it's damaged. There is also a stream halfway down the drive which may be impassable in the rainy season.

This place was a gem for getting away from the noise and chaotic energy of more touristy areas! So much nature and peacefulness, there's a creek/river right by the property. Even the drive to here is quite scenic. And the owner! She is so accommodating, helpful, and just overall a wonderful person who is open-minded, charming, funny, and great to talk to! She makes great meals too, even if you have lots of food restrictions like me! Looking forward to coming back here!
Nothing to do with the property but there aren't any nice white sand beaches on the east side, but you can still explore like the mangrove boardwalk.

We loved to be in a space that’s remote but still had a great connection to the rest of the island. Although there are some buildings on the compound we‘ve had a really private experience because there is still a distance between the buildings. The mountains and nature around homebar is an absolute dream for anybody who enjoys a less touristic and authentic stay.
Kang herself is a down to earth and easy going person who was eager to help whenever she could while letting us enjoy her home in complete freedom.
We‘ve also loved to have French Fry & Olive (her to lovable dogs) around who greeted us whenever we came back home.
We had an all in all marvelous experience at Kang‘s! Though we needed some time to adjust to the bats as our roommates. And be sure to pack some mosquito repellent.

The accommodation is very peaceful, suitable for going on vacation or organizing a party. It can be noisy because it is far from the house of people next to nature, a small waterfall is an area. We are very impressed, the food is recommended, pizza is very delicious, the night is full of stars, the owner of the house is also very nice, very kind, want to try.

If you want to rest from crowd, you should go here. Take motorbike, ride all of the island and return to Homebar in the evening. Noise of the night forest will put you in to the deepest rest.
Come hear and try it :)
