The views from the main bedroom and lounge were great. The play areas for kids were most loved by the young one.

Not as good as I would have expected at the price.

Quiet location with private beach access. Decent under cover parking. Property is neat and tidy. The units are fairly spacious. The backup water supply in the complex came in handy when the town had a pipe burst.

I paid cash for the stay. By comparison, my timeshare includes a cleaning service for the same price. Despite the area being a fairly clean area (we have stayed in Shelly Beach several times), the unit floors were rather dirty. Having to pay R600 extra for a cleaning service, that should be included in the price, is disappointing. It is clearly necessary. The unit could do with some maintenance. The light fittings and fans are old and rusted. The shower door rollers need attention. The wooden doors onto the veranda need maintenance and are difficult to use. The tumble dryer drum bearings are worn out. The mattresses in the unit need some foam toppers on, as they feel old and worn. The satellite TV was pretty much only good for watching cartoons. Either an upgraded package or WiFi would be advisable. As each unit is owned and let, so perhaps a different unit, belonging to a different owner would be better. There is no proper Reception desk, so the letting company really ought to provide an information book in the unit, with the contact details of the Caretaker, a site map, how to access the beach, a list of emergency services, Doctors, Chemists, Restaurants, and activities in the area.

A definite return location

Location is perfect with breathtaking sea views. The beach is walking distance and very safe. The host was very willing to accommodate our request. Very comfortable beds and couch. Stove worked perfectly well.

Neater bedding, linen and art work. The stacking doors are in very bad condition. Crockery needs an upgrade. The fridge was freezing our food items overnight so that needs to be checked. The broom was so badly broken.

Nolan s getaway.

The sea view was good. My Grandkids had lots to do.My wife really loved the place. I will definitely go back.

It was a chilly at night. No spare blankets. But that was fine 🙂.

despite the few small things, it was a nice trip.

the sea view is amazing

the shower door didn’t close, the lights in the bathroom didn’t work, there were items missing like a chopping board. unfortunately for the money I paid, it was a little disappointing. perhaps a few personal touches may make it more inviting.

The scenery was good with reasonable proximity to shops

The venue was just fogged and was kept closed not letting fresh air in. The whole family suffered sinus irritations and headaches due to CoVid fogging for the whole period of stay. We had to spend most of the time outdoors, but didn't have a choice at night

It was a great stay!

The view, the fact that the complex was quiet, the unit was very neat and had a big smart tv.

the beds were hard and the linen needs an upgrade. The water in the bath was brown and dirty and left sand in the bath we had to shower.

Cash cow stuck in the 70s. Saving grace, beach access.

Easy access to the beach.

Apartment is extremely basic. Stuck in the 70s. Desperately needs a revamp and some decorating. The fish painting in the main bedroom needs to be returned to the little mermaids house. The spare bedroom linen needs to be revamped in a hurry. Don’t know many adults who would be happy with a princess duvet cover. Mattress protector in the main bedroom is plastic and cheap. A slightly more pricey linen one would have been much better. Gas braai needs a manual. Nearly lost all the hair on my arm trying to light it manually as there was no battery in the starter. The rules are heavy to say the least. These almost make you not want to stay there as you constantly tread on eggshells so as not to upset the apple cart. Wooden Stacking doors no longer work properly and some doors don’t lock creating a safety issue. The property has been left to run its course and deteriorate. The constant smell of feces in the parking area is a little heavy to bare. This is a cash cow for the owners, not a long term investment and it is very clear to see this in its appearance and the way it is managed. Last little gripe, the glue that they use to stick a access card onto your window takes some serious elbow grease and a blade to remove. Surely there’s a better way of doing this.

BONDI IS NOW OUR FAVOURITE HOLIDAY PLACE TO BE!!!

Staff greeted us friendly upon arrival following Covid protocol, our mob broke but after going to town we had a brand new mob ready at the door, even the managers office delivered my grandsons shoes to our door that he left for 3 days at the play room. The view was fantastic, we saw dolphins early morning while enjoying our coffee on the balcony. Our grandson was safe and had so much fun with all the facilities. The DSTV was so comfortable we didn't need to take our own card with. We truly enjoyed everything and also the shower door went off the railing, it was not even 10 minutes and they came to fix it and had no problems afterwards. The service the luxury apartment really went beyond our expectations. Bondi will be our first choice from now on.

The only thing that we did not like is that we could not stay forever. We were saddened to leave.
