Located in beautiful downtown Nanaimo, this serene seaside property is just steps from Nanaimo's famous Seawall and the Nanaimo Yacht Club. Take a leisurely walk down the Seawall to enjoy parks, restaurants, pubs, shopping, coffee shops and much more.
Furthermore, located on the seawall is a water taxi which takes you for a 10 min ride to Newcastle Island or Protection Island where you can enjoy beautiful hiking, sight seeing and the famous Ding Dock Pub for lunch. If a day trip to beautiful Vancouver is of interest to you, the Seawall also offers a sea plane service that has you in Vancouver within 20min. BCFerries is located 2km from the property and is a convenient service to get you almost anywhere you would like to go.

Our 1 bedroom accomodation is equipped with a very comfortable queen size bed with a memory foam topper ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. Stunning ocean views from your bedroom window are sure to impress. Also, his and her closets provide lots of space to unpack. Included is an 4 piece Ensuite with a beautiful glass shower with an oversized rain shower head and heated tiles.
On the main level you will find a high end gourmet kitchen (for the chef of the family) equipped with new appliances and a gas range stove. Topping the appliances off, you will find 10ft ceiling high kitchen cabinets with a beautiful space to cook in. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need.
To round off the main level living is a hide a bed for additional sleeping room. Our deluxe pull out sofa easily accommodates 2 guests.
Please feel free to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner on the sun drenched patio looking out to the waterfront. Just incase it might be too warm out in our sunny summers, please turn on the air-conditioning!
Completing our level entry main floor is a 2 piece bathroom and a laundry room and a for all your laundry needs!

Place was great! I loved the kitchen, it had tons of cooking options (pots, pans, slow cooker, etc.) and the place was so clean. It is in a great location to stores and the street is not very busy. We enjoyed sitting out back on the patio every night where you get a bit of a view of the water. Host was great, friendly, and quick to respond. Really glad we chose this place to stay for the week :)

This home is very clean and offers everything you need in the kitchen. The bed upstairs is comfortable. Very relaxing soaker tub and beautiful shower. The location was good for quick access to the hwy to get us off on all of our beach and hiking adventures. We even hosted our local family members for lunch. Overall it was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay at Brittany's place! She lives right next door and introduced herself to make sure we were settled and comfortable, was helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The place is clean and spacious, and very private. We never needed to drive anywhere downtown, the sea walk path is one block down the road from the house and made it easy to walk to town for food and coffee whenever. Loved the big soaker bathtub and the large kitchen! Thanks Brittany!

Everything was exactly as it is listed, and as others have commented. The house was very clean, well appointed with everything you would need, and well located just a block from the water, with easy walking/bike access to downtown Nanaimo via the waterfront trail.
Most importantly, Brittany (host) was a very timely, clear and responsive with her communications, and just very easy to chat with overall.

Location location location
Amazing VRBO to call home for 3 nights. The space is just as you see in the pics. Great to have the bedroom on second floor with double closets and an ensuite bathroom as well.
Location was prime! We were able to access Nanaimo by foot in less then 15 min. Just a short and lovely walk along the seawall to get just about anywhere downtown for groceries, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping!
We would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Nanaimo. It was very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The views are very nice and the location is excellent, especially for people who like to walk. The host was super responsive and very accommodating of our requests. Was sad to leave. Great Location
This place is close to everything and has everything you could need! A short block to the harbour front and a 15 minute walk to downtown. We walked it just about every day, sometimes twice to go for brunch or dinner instead of driving and finding parking. It’s also not far from shopping centres, maybe a 10 minute drive.
The condo itself was very clean, the heated bathroom floors were a really nice touch (I hate cold feet!), well stocked for linens and kitchen items. So light and bright inside and I can’t say enough good things about it. The host was very easy to get a hold of for anything we needed.
If we come back to the island, this is definitely on my short list to come back to!!!

Nice Place
Breath Taking Views of Nanaimo's Harbour Front...are pretty strong words for the property's title. It's behind other residential properties, and yes, has some wonderful views...when viewed from particular angles. From the title, we were expecting more. It's still a really nice location, and a very nice, modern-looking property. We recommend it.

Quiet heat retreat
We wanted a quiet weekend away from all the noise and intensity of Vancouver life during Covid, and if it could beat the heat wave hitting BC even better, and this place most definitely delivered. Stepping into the air conditioned front foyer from the intense heat outside when we got here felt like your mom draping a cozy blanket over you just as you are falling asleep on the couch when you were sick; a huge relief, and exactly what you needed.
The neighbourhood was blissfully quiet, and my dog couldn’t get enough of the ocean walkway, or the myriad of wild bunnies bouncing around the neighbourhood (he had never seen one before and was mesmerized).
We had a great stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The suite was beautiful and in a great location. The view out into the Bay was wonderful and a great way to wake up in the morning. It had everything we needed, within walking distance to water, Gabriola ferry, dining and a very close drive for groceries. Highly recommend 😊

Nanaimo Getaway
This is a beautiful home, all newly renovated and sparkling clean. Brittany, our host, was helpful and very pleasant. The bed and seating areas were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc that you could want. Bring you own salt and pepper and other condiments, as none are provided. The view wasn’t quite as grand as anticipated as there is a house directly in front of the living room window, but there are good views from the sides from which you can watch the boats come and go. One thing to note is that the Wifi connection is unreliable. This won’t matter if you are planning to unplug for your stay, but don’t count on working or being able to catch up on emails while here. One complaint from my husband was that there were no sports channels on the TV.
The location is great. It is an easy stroll to the yacht club and marina, which makes for great people and boat watching, and you can walk along the esplanade to downtown Nanaimo.
We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Super clean and comfortable house. Very spacious and great patios for sitting. The on street parking worked well and the area is quiet and safe. Just like home!
Considering we needed a place in fast time due to another vacation property falling through, Brittany was able to accomodate us quickly and with ease. From the start, communication was always present. She provided very clear, simple direction on how to get in. No complications. Once we arrived and entered the home you could see the level of detail put into the carpentry and finish selections. It felt just like our home. The suite is beautiful. It Had everything we needed from a nice laundry room to a living room and TV in the bedroom. Things we are accustomed to and made life easier. Brittany was always quick to respond and really just let us make ourselves at home. I highly recommend. Great experience!

This is a great place to stay!
We were 2 couples here for the Nanaimo Dragon Boat Races. This accommodation is just a 5 minute walk to the race site. The owners, Brittany and Doug, were delightful people..... friendly, helpful, conscientious. The condo is new, tastefully furnished, very clean, and quiet! We were very pleased with the comfort of the bed and the pull out sleeper (much more comfortable than most). My only suggestion would be to provide shower soap and shampoo, but I know that is not always the case in VRBOs. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
