About this apartment rental

Stay in this sunny 2 bedroom apartment opening on to the terrace with view of Tarascon and the Rhône. Wake up to abundant Provence sunlight. Drink coffee on the huge terrace just outside your door. The terrace is partitioned into two sections. You have your own section with a large table that sits 6 people.

This lovely apartment is in a handsome stone building that was originally a rich merchant's mansion, named Hôtel du Luxembourg.

Recently renovated, the vacation rental apartment is quiet and sunny with high ceilings. It consists of two bedrooms, an open plan living room/kitchen/dining room, broadband WIFI, English-language satellite TV (with major UK channels) and a bathroom and separate toilet. It is within walking distance of the town's attractions, from the picturesque ruined castle to the lively canal promenade, as well as restaurants, cafés and shops.

Die Wohnung liegt zentral und ruhig. Sehr netter Vermieter. Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und gemütlich. Die meiste Zeit haben wir auf der Terrasse genossen. Vielen Dank an Barney

The owner is very attentive to all your needs. Property is in a fabulous location , a 20- 30 minute drive to Arles, Aix-en-Provence, Nimes and Avignon. Don't forget to visit the Beaux de Provence. The terrace of this apartment is worth gold; you can dine al fresco every day or go to the local restaurants in Beaucaire. One last note: visit Chateau d'Estoublon if you like fine wine....unforgettable. We definitely will visit again, Thank you dear Mr. Lehrer. Michael Kampy West Palm Beach Florida

Great central location
Great central location
We stayed for a week at Hotel Lux in late April. Great location equidistant from Arles, NImes and Avignon. Bit farther to Ste Maries sur la Mer (sp), Pont de Gard and Uzes - both worth the trip. Could have easily done a day trip to Aix. Rooms clean and tidy. Bathroom(S) OK - but nothing special. Kitchen very functional. TErrace, certainly the highlight of the apt. Breakfasts and dinners (and wine) always on the terrace - mind you we had 7 days of warm sunshine. We arrived later than our expected time, so a hurried welcome (our fault). Main complaint -hardly anything in the fridge or food cupboards. Thanks though for bottle of rose wine in fridge. We restocked the appt with staples (spices, condiments, etc. For next guests), and bought some flowers at the market to warm the place up. We are used to being welcomed with some coffee, baguette and local cheese (at least) - meaning we would not need to shop immediately upon arrival. Beaucaire is not the prettiest, nor most welcoming of towns in the area. However, Hotel Lux made our stay acceptable. Thanks Barney. Brian and Elizabteh

We had the good fortune to stay in this property for 4 months. From the moment we arrived we felt very “at home”. The apartment is well equipped, plenty of space and it was lovely to sit out on the terrace, even in November ! The owners were very accommodating and patiently answered any questions we put to them and the couple who manage the apartment sorted out any minor problems we had. It was lovely to stay in Beaucaire, a very old town, and to be with local people and not a major tourist town. Many shops, restaurants and cafes. There is so much to see and do within an hours drive, it’s worth spending a bit of time going through the many leaflets helpfully provided in the apartment. We were not disappointed with anywhere we visited. We spent time walking locally when we didn’t want to use the car and frequently visited the markets (Thursday and Sunday). We really hope to return to Beaucaire and this apartment.

wir haben uns in der geräumigen und gut ausgestatteten Wohnung mit einem großen Balkon nahe der Rhone sehr wohl gefühlt. Beaucaire hat vielleicht schon bessere Tage gesehen, dafür lassen die großen Touristenströme die Stadt weitgehend links liegen. Der Ort liegt ideal im "Dreieck" von Nimes, Arles und Avignon. Alle Städte sind auch gut mit dem Bus oder Zug erreichbar. Zudem sind Les Alpilles und die Pont du Gard nicht weit. Anne und Jürgen

L'appartamento ricavato in un hotel particulier ben ristrutturato è confortevole, spazioso ed arredato con gusto.In particolare l'ampio soggiorno-cucina è decisamente piacevole da vivere. Gli accessori forniti sono tutti ben funzionanti, praticamente nuovi. Comodo ed utile il garande garage comune considerata la difficoltà a trovare parcheggio sulla strada. Nonostante l'assenza di aria condizionata i soffitti alti , le mura spesse e la corrente d'aria proveniente dal rodano (praticamente di fronte) mantengono l'appartamento fresco .
