About this house rental

This property will wow you with it's bohemian charm. Bedrooms in the main house as well as beds in our retro caravan & bus PLUS two 1980's arcade game machines onsite, you can't get any cooler!

But don't be fooled - this has all the modern comforts inside the 3 bedroom main house - new carpets, kitchen, plus brand new quality beds, linens, heat-pump/aircon and electric blankets, the living here is fun and easy!

Two separate lounges make it simple for families - kids can be entertained the old school way with TWO TV's and DVD players: one in the large rumpus/lounge, and one in the lounge/dining leaving adults to enjoy and entertain! With one bathroom in the main house, plus a separate shower/toilet in a tidy outdoor utility shed means heaps of space for all.

There is no reason to stay indoors - outdoors a large fenced garden, with plenty of room to set up cricket or kick a ball, plus an outdoor fire, perfect for dinner outside on balmy nights, and toasting marshmallows for the kids.

For those seeking a more active stay - right across the road is a basketball court and fitness trail, and a lovely stroll to the Marina is a short 2 minute walk away. Add to this an easy 8 minute flat walk to beach and town in one direction, skate park in another. Plus for the younger ones, a newly renovated kids playground with pirate ship just around the corner. With only a 4 minute hop and skip to the local supermarket - holiday's really can't get any easier!

Whangamata boasts excellent surfing on the beautiful sandy beach, fishing and a variety of high quality restaurants, bars and boutique shopping. And the beautiful Coromandel Forest park is a 5 minute drive, with scenic walks to old mines and waterfalls.

We love this place - and know you will too. With easy walking distance everywhere, lots of mod-cons and a little bit of quirky-ness, this ticks all the boxes for a stylised retro bach stay.

Wonderfully quirky with lots of different spaces to use and good flexibility with regards to sleeping configuration. Loved the roasting marshmallows over the outdoor fire and the big kids spent way too much time on the arcade games. Also enjoyed walking to town and beach.

Unfortunately, we chose the wettest weekend on record to head to the beach so we weren't able to make the most of this bach. The games room with the arcade games were great though to keep both the kids and adults entertained. Bach was clean, good amenities and easy walk to town and supermarket. Wharf and beach an easy walk too.
