We rented this property as a family while we were in the area for wedding celebrations. It suited our needs perfectly, being superbly equipped and allowed us great “downtime” when we needed it, as well as unrushed prep time.

We had a great stay here; the house was tidy and clean, in a wonderful location right by the water, shops etc. Great communication from John at all times. Highly recommend.

We were really happy with our choice to stay here. The house is very well set up for families with flexible sleeping arrangements and spaces for relaxing or playing games like the pool table in the games room. So close to the beach and beautiful area of Shellharbour sea pool and shops. Loved it.

Location was amazing to the rock pools and walks. Park the car then everything is within walking distance. Shops, food, drinks. Property is well set out for large family or 2 families. Pool table was an added bonus. John made the booking and arrival process very easy.

Great experience, Felt very at home, the house was clean, the beds were comfortable, we could easily live at this address! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, pools and beaches.

This is the 5th time I've stayed at the house, I think that says enough!

Location is fantastic. Everything you'd need is provided for. As many older reviews on here suggest, the house really needs a good scrub. Many appliances I didn't use due to it being unclean. All it needs to make it worth the money asked is a really good clean not just a wipe over. Beds were very comfortable and clean. The washing machine and dryer are a great addition.

Only a few steps away from the beach and short walk to Shellharbour Village, there is nothing you need to bring or want for other than your food; for when staying here, everything has been supplied and thought of even down to the board games.Being in the travel industry myself I am always on the lookout for hot places to stay and I give Seahaven 5 stars for its location and amenities. Thank you to John this was our 3rd time at Seahaven. We always have an excellent stay.Very convenient to all amenities and beaches. Enough room for everyone very clean and tidy. Nothing to bring but ourselves. Thanks again Seahaven! Awesome stay!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Seahaven. The property manager was so nice and very attentive to our needs. PROS: the house is in a GREAT location, within walking distance to the ocean pool and center of town, so that made it really convenient for us all - That's how it earned 4 stars. It also had beds for at least 10 people, if needed. The cable TV (with movies & music channels) was a great added feature as well. We also loved the little private sitting room attached to the main bedroom upstairs with the 2 balconies and the kitchen offered plenty of room for everyone to hang around with 2 big tables, 1 small table and lots of chairs. The games room in the back garage was a great feature as well.CONS: The house is a bit dated but it was fine for a casual stay. We found the linens were really clean and most of the common areas & bathrooms were fairly clean, but there was a lot of dust and cobwebs on the ceilings and corners and we killed a lot of spiders and cockroaches. Also, a few of the lightbulbs were either blown or not working properly. It just looks like it needs a really good scrub and to be sprayed for bugs.Other than that, it was fine. Nothing fancy, but suited our family for our long weekend visit to Shellharbour.

Our group of bowlers had a fun stay, enjoying the BBQ and back patio, plus the large dining tables. However, the main bathroom is very run-down, and a good clean would help the house greatly.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous beach house. Light filled and modern with a gorgeous big balconey with a Bbq and daybed. The beach is a few steps down the road and the spa kept the kids quiet when we werent busy.....Wonderful host. Cant wait to get back there...

Seahaven Beach House is in an excellent position, walking distance to the pools, picnic grassed area, harbour beach, south beach and village shops. The house is well set up and very comfortable, would highly recommend.

Its a very neat, tidy and spacious house, with the beach literally on the door step.Had a wonderful time on the beaches as well as at home

This house is amazing, from the moment you walk in you feel at home! I stayed with my extended family and it was equip with everything you need. The house is big enough that you dont get in each others way yet still very cosy. You couldnt ask for a better location, so close to the shops and beach. We will definately be back!

The house easily catered for 10 people,comfy beds,huge loungeroom,great entertaining area outside,huge dining room and 2 great bathrooms which was heaven for 10 girls. John was very helpful and great with our enquiry. We are coming back for another weekend in summer. Thanks again John.

Our party of 9 including three children had a great time despite the cold, wet weather. House is very comfortable with spacious living areas, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds (and I agree the photos don't do it justice as someone else suggested). Owner was friendly and easy to deal with, and quick to fix our little problem of one missing sheet. The area is lovely too - Illawarra Fly is well worth a visit. Thanks John for sharing the house.
